Eh I personally think Penguin is village (as did Mouse before he died) but I'm not as committed to that read as I was my Heron read to bother fighting their exe, and if Mouse was alive he'd be trying to reevaluate his early v!reads anyway. I'd rather flip Albatross before Penguin tho, as Penguin was pushing Alb's exe C3 and I found it compelling. Either way there's enough dead elims now that I can be lazy again. Oh and I like Kangaroo's posts today so far

Oh yeah. So on Sunday at 7pm Mouse asked me for reads on Kangaroo and Vulture. We had a big snow storm in CT that night/going into the next day, so my priority was shoveling and then work, but when I finally got around to it (I believe it was Monday when I started asking in the Lavender PM about who else Vulture PM’d D1) I flagged the things I mentioned: Vulture giving a hyper specific number of how many PMs they made (11) when I asked if they were PMing everyone like Tuat, and Vulture never responding after I challenged his reads in our PM (he was shading Mouse and I wasn’t with it). Unfortunately I never ended up following through with discovering the other players that Vulture PM’d, but the claims in that same PM were: Ostrich Scorpion Iguana (after I explained why I was asking) Beagle (you) said they PM’d Vulture and Mouse only got PM’d N1 after Vulture told me the 11, so I’m not sure either counted toward that 11. I never ended up following through by asking others / Vulture directly, mostly because I began devoting all my time in thread instead of PMs after Mouse didd

Personally I'd rather we exe Vulture later. My preferable nightshot would be between Alb, Zebra, or Kangaroo for one reason or another. Probably in that priority order To be clear, Kanga keeping their vote on Albatross means they are very likely unpaired. Penguin is also unpaired with Albatross. So if Alb flips red tonight, that could net us some tasty soft clears. My new tunnel is Zebra atm, mostly because they were the first vote of C3 (on Heron) and never once moved it (individual vote stability is rand!e) and they pushed for village consensus on Heron specifically when there were other options (like Vulture, Chameleon, and Kanga, the last of which Zebra has sussed at least once but yet to follow through). Possible E/E distancing, that.

I will attempt to entertain a v!Iguana world tomorrow. Problem is, I don't really get why a vote was soothed off of Vulture otherwise. Possible it was a Sooth meant for a different wagon and the player changed their vote before the order could be changed (so a Soothe on Scorp?) but idk. If the relevant Soother is somehow Village, I would appreciate a claim in PM so I can hop off a potentially unnecessary tunnel. Anyway goodnight (I hope I can actually sleep tonight >> last night was rough)

Oh right. I forgot that Mouse hinted to me who Iggy was. I had been sus of them earlier and Mouse said a very similar thing and I dropped it. Not sure if the divergence is good enough for me right now though. The notable absence of post-survival Vulture talk from Iguana just seems weird to me from a v!PoV, especially from a v!thatplayer!PoV

Italicized are my independent village reads. When removed, that leaves: Scorpion Vulture Beagle Zebra Iguana Penguin Kangaroo My question is, where are the elims here? If e!Vulture, Scorpion looks better than the rest for nearly pushing them over the edge. If v!Vulture, I don't know why e!Scorpion would be so hedgy about their exe. I'd prolly give them a tentative v!lean until I can assess them deeper. Y'all know how I feel about the Vulture slot, but a self-pres vote is excusable either way. Beagle is someone I need to look into deeper, going forward. Haven't retained much from their slot tbh I really don't love the fact that Zebra was literally the first vote of the day and the first vote on Heron, that they never moved their vote later when presented options (like Kangaroo, whom I recall them sussing in the past), and that they pushed for consensus specifically on Heron while I was begging for Vulture voters. The vote stability there is shady af to me. Y'all know how I feel about the Iguana slot; overt ties to Vulture + honestly I'm convinced Dingo voted Iguana D1 as an e/e poke/distance/get-in-the-doc-Mr-Sleep-for-17-hours-we-got-things-to-discuss vote. I'm mostly effort clearing Penguin because of their player ID (the fact that they're not Dingoing again). Willing to relook and reconsider Kangaroo could go either way probably, but they're definitely the least egregious slot in this list

I guess my thing here is at a certain point, the content of posts is less important to me than the deliberate actions taken. Most specifically, votes. I at least spent 6 hours trying to get people to vote Vulture. Every time, either Heron, or Cham, or an entirely new candidate would receive votes, while Vulture was only really met w/ resistance until the very end. Some cases (like Kangaroo or Albatross) would overtake the Vulture wagon I created within literal minutes of the options being presented. That felt & continues to feel very off to me, even if I can recognize why some villagers might be resistant to the exe. Regardless, what it tells me is that the elims didn't want to jump on the Vulture wagon to muddy the waters, which leaves me asking why they had no interest in splitting the wagons further (if V!Heron, V!Cham, V!Vulture). The most logical conclusion is e!Vulture And no one was more blatant about this than Iguana with their D3 voting record, so rn I'd rather pursue that lead than waste my time reiterating my same Vulture sus

Yeah you got Heron killed and voted literally every wagon other than the slot that survived a non-elim kill and was saved by a Soother. That's my case. Anything more is irrelevant fluff Sorry if the tone there feels aggressive. Not my intention. I'm just firm on my stance here. There is little else but me Seeking you myself that could dissuade me at this juncture
