  1. Buy....why not? Taln will bond a spren, regaining his mind and showing how BADASS and kind he is.
  2. Hey, Kaladin didn't swear the 4th oath because he couldn't afford leting Adolin die. More you think, more details there are haha
  3. I would not fly this ship, but I can see them working and I absolutely love the dynamics between them, and I find the friendship and bromance better and better. You did an awesome work with all these elements. Kuddos!
  4. Buy, I bet this one is really really true. The stick learns to inverse-soulcast and asks Shallan to become fire.
  5. I do think there'll be a Moash-Kaladin smash up, but I keep thinking Moash will regret and ask for Kaladin's forgiveness. I hope Amaram stays dead! And welcome to the Shard
  6. Buy! Vorins being vorins... Rosharans will learn to distinguish between a chicken and a parrot...
  7. Mmmm I will buy it, why not? The more, the merrier. Rysn will become Radiant and recover her legs.
  8. I even cheer for Rysn becoming Radiant, maybe I'm too much in the Radiancy Train But yes, I understand
  9. Sale, I feel she'll be more grounded with Adolin. Renarin will be a new kind of ardent/stormwarden using both his inteligence and his visions.
  10. I'm also interested in no-radiand but radiant new things, like Venli or Renarin, and I bet Adolin can become something alike. Radiant but in a completly new way of doing things. But I understand what you say, the no.radiant struggles are interesting. I guess we'll see what the future holds. Thanks for replying!
  11. If I may ask, why is such a lot of people against the idea of Adolin or Navani being radiants because there are already tooo many Kholin radiants? I feel there's a "reason" we're following this family. Maybe something in their past, too, aside from the fact that they're at the center of all the Radiant gathering lately, so surely, lots of sprens on and off. It doesn't bother me at all. Elhokar gone, the remaining Kholins are caring persons
  12. Buy! He's bound to be a king Rlain will find the lost listeners and they will be strong allies to Dalinar's coalition.
  13. I have a theory that Navani, the fabrian master, will bond to the Sibling, and then, Urithuru will come to life again. "I will bring order to chaos" will be her oath OK, I love Navani, too. And I want spotlight on her
  14. I saw another theory today (this thread) lots of info! Theres so much we don't know about Rock and his people!
  15. When I lurk through theories here, I want to suscribe to each one I read. At some point, I cannot do it and it's sad
  16. I'm on the "I don't think Odium is Passion" side, but I do think it is such a clever lie. Because hate is such a strong passion. It's dark, damaging and awful, but certainly strong. So, if he pictured himself as passion at some point, the lie spread on and now even he's confused. Because everything he feels is hate, and it's a passionate one, so he truly thinks his intent could be Passion.
  17. I just wanted to say that I fully support what @hoiditthroughthegrapevinesaid, but I also admire the commitment of the sharder that created this post to dislike a book with so many possible reads like OB. And I repeat, I really hope he keeps reading SA, it would be sad for him to stop at #3 of 10.
  18. Possibly off-topic, but this interlude was the first one involving more herdazians, not just the Lopen and his family members. And even if it's farfetched, could it lead to more Herdaz? Will we get to know if the Lopen was truly to become a king? I think this magic capitain was great and would love to read more about Herdaz (and obviously, this creature they simply nicknamed the Hog)
  19. There are no absolutes. You have the right to dislike OB as much as others (like me) loved almost every bit of it. Was it frustrating for Kaladin not to say the 4th ideal? Yes, but it build him a lot as a character. He needs to accept that at some moment, everybody needs help. I never liked Shallan, but in OB I loved her interactions with Wit/Hoid. Completly worthy reading Shallan just for those. It's ok to ventilate your problems with the book, as it is ok to accept not everybody will have the same opinion. Teft and Dalinar arcs were awesome. And no, Teft's addiction is foreshadowed, it doesn't pop up just like that. I'm on the "loveOB" bandwagon, and I sincerelly hope for you to keep enjoying SA beyond your dislike for how the story was played in this book.
  20. I do think there are spren in Shinovar. At the end of OB, Szeth says something speaking to Nightblood he used to listen to a voice. Because he was approaching Radiance, wasn't he?
  21. Kalaolin all the way! They're going to have the BEST bromance ever <3 And the axalacious bloke joke was just priceless. Like the rest you've mentioned here.
  22. I think the Coalition will not last as it is, but that new Radiants from different places are going to change the views of people. Things are getting weird and won't last as they were. Renarin bound a corrupted spren, one of the Unmade may be not longer willing to side with Odium, Venli bound to a not-void spren... and Kaladin and his Windrunners have a Listener in their team. So the coalition will sooner or later, imho, have listeners/singers as there are humans siding with Odium. It's gonna get wicked, both in terms of politics and religion. We will see! Nice poll by the way
  23. Thanks to everyone who replied!
  24. Ok, first of all I'm really sorry if this has been asked before. But I guess more cosmere aware fans can enlighten me Did Radiants used to worship the three shards? Or else why are they 3 depicted in "the" room in Urithuru? Do we know why Odium is represented like he is? Does the pagan thaylen believe in Passions have to do with Odium-Passion? I'm seriously believing it's something that comes from a time when Odium was the human's God... Thanks to anyone that takes some time to help me through this
  25. I also think it was too much to discover they were the "invaders" after what they've done to the singers-listeners by defeating Ba-Ado-Mishram. They erased their minds, even if it wasn't their intention.
