Does Kelsier head the Set? I'm not seeing anything on the Coppermind.

I feel like he put the clues there for Cosmere enthusiasts to figure out A lot of people thought it might be Odium at first.

I'm not sold on Odium getting off Roshar at the end of book 5. Unless Brandon wants to make Cultivation the Big Bad in the back half. Really Autonomy is the only one that makes sense.

The oaths are about making a change so I'm not sure his current failings would disqualify him from being an Edgedancer.

Yeah, I mean don't get me wrong Kaladin's a great Windrunner, but he'd make an excellent Edgedancer as well.

I'm pretty sure Lirin knows what a Desolation is, and the amount of refugees pouring into Hearthstone should have tipped him off.

After this book I feel like Kaladin missed his calling as an Edgedancer

I can see Dalinar's points I mean his son did murder a man in cold blood. Is he perfect, no. He is trying though. He's still growing and changing.

I think the only good Cosmere dad we've seen is Dalinar, and that took shardic intervention.

Plus she outdid Mraize the guys got all the subtlety of a brick to the face. If Shallan had to deal with Thaidikar/Kelsier she'd get played like a fiddle.

I mean, did he really have time to go looking for him? The tower was put on lock down pretty quick, and once Kaladin made his move he was on the run the whole time.

Zahel hates fighting. He doesn't say it inn so many words of course, but it is true. When Kaladin considered joining the sword master ardents of which Zahel is one, he told Kaladin to come back when he hates the fight. Even if Zahel was in the tower I doubt he'd lift a finger to help. That's not his thing anymore after hundreds of years of life. Plus if he did reveal himself he'd out himself at risk of being captured and who knows what someone like Raboniel would do to him. It was etter he laid low.

An explosion is likely, but to get rid of something like Nightblood, I could see someone taking the risk.

I do wonder how Nightblood would react if he tried to eat Anti-Investiture. I doubt he's mde of the stuff though.

If Taln didn't break that just makes him even more awesome, and he did seem to have some level of lucidity when he first arrived. He knew he was late.

Well it depends on the war. There can be on faction that has moral highground pver another.

We've assumed that Taln broke, and that was what allowed the True Desolation to start. Now though, we know that the Everstorm had been brew in Shadesmar long before it was actually summoned to the Physical Realm and was used a sort of backdoor for Odium's forces. Now, I'm not convinced that Taln broke. The Oathpact had already been weakened, so maybe this backdoor created a loophole. Taln could have slipped through it as well to try and warn Roshar. What do you guys think?

It kind of bothers me that both the Scadrians and Rosharans are bad guys... Of course, there's probably more to it than what the First of the Sunners know.

We're dealing with a ~600 page book, cuts and changes are inevitable, but since Brandon is writing the sceenplay, and he knows how much we the fans love the books I don't think it'll be all that bad.

Fem!Dockson's backstory... that's going to be rough.

Not sue how I feel about this, I know Brandon wished more women had been on the crew, but it feels weird to imagine this. However since he's writing the screenplay it'll probably be fine.

That strikes me as a good thing WOB-wise with the signing changes that are coming in the future.
