There have been theories about mistborn era 3 including FTL travel with cadmium and bendalloy, but theoretically it could be possible with steel compounding, any reason this wouldn't work?

Ohhh, think I finally understand, so they eat some metal and wear others? That way they can fill and then burn metal inside them to fill the metal outside. Also that little bit they fill can charge the stuff inside them.... Hmm it sure would be nice to be a steel compounder... Say, now that we're onto that subject, some would be pretty useless to compound for example: Copper (how can you compound memories or knowledge?) and ones like aluminum, duralumin and tin wouldn't be that helpful to compound.

K makes sense... that's the part I don't understand though, you're constantly losing the metals you use? So why did miles wear visible metalmind a if you need to burn them? (Maybe he didn't and I'm just not paying attention) Or why did the mystical bracers have the power to be refilled by compounding? Awesome explanation thanks

Technically there's 34 god metals. Anyways the abilities of the metals come from the shards themselves. For example, ruin can see the future but other than that his main investiture power is hemalurgy. So the metal is created by an outside influence, not from preservations original 16 metals. That's the reason why ruins metal doesn't have a full opposite. Now lerasium also comes from te abilities of the shard. And since allomancy is a form of preservation, it makes sense that pure metal would access lerasi's investiture.

I don't really understand the concept, not sure how I don't know this by now. I know what compounding does and I know it's effects, just not sure how it works. Mostly I want to know: Does compounding work by burning a metal then filling a metalmind with that metal? Ex: burning pewter to make you stronger which gives you extra strength to put into the metalmind. Or does it work by burning a metalmind filled up? Like Vin tried to do. Or or is there a third option I'm not thinking about?

I see what you're saying I think, so you mean that if someone burned bendalloy and they were in fast time, burning cadmium would slow them down because they're already sped up so they would be burning cadmium at a sped up rate negating it everywhere including where it's outside the bendalloy. Wouldn't really make sense though because that would mean inside the bendalloy it wouldn't Ben negated... Now I've confused myself

We know burning cadmium and bendalloy at once can cancel each other out. But Marasi had a bigger bubble than wax, so in theory if they both burned their metal, then they would create a ring of slow around them while still moving at the same speed. So in theory there could be used for burning both metals.

So I finished WOR not long ago, and I was thinking. In one of the WOB's there was a statement that there were 3 intelligent races on Yolen. So what if one of them were Parhendi? That's why there's parshendi on Roshar. Because all the other shards in the other books so far were human, and the planets had human inhabitants in them. So it makes sense that humans were of honor, and the parshendi who came later were from Odium. Does that make sense? Or what if Cultivation isn't human... Someone should ask Brandon that.

What would duralumin do with the Metals below can anyone speculate? D+Gold (honestly I have no Idea) (The ability to see multiple threads or CHANGE your past?) D+ Bendalloy (the ability to freeze or even reverse time?) D+ Cadmium (Time travel.(only going forward. I'm pretty sure of this) D+ Lerasium (would you become a super allomancer or some sort of God?) Would this grant feruchemy in any way? D+ Electrum (similar to D+ Atium I would think) D+ Chromium (Chromium without contact I would think) D+ Nicrosil. I would like to see. D+ Nicrosil when someone is burning Lerasium or atium Would these be close guesses? What do you guys think?

Kaladin left hoods flute behind. So really what was the point of including this in the story, it had absolutely no importance whatsoever as far as I can see. Poor Hoid has no more flute now. Ok my second question. I've heard something about this "Champion rule" with Rayse. Can someone explain? PS.
