  1. *Nods in appreciation.*
  2. *Proffers a platter of cookies.*
  3. I stop for a moment before resuming the humming. My body pulses in time with the tune.
  4. *Takes some kettle corn gratefully.*
  5. *Produces popcorn and offers @Condensation some.*
  6. *Is glad for compromise.*
  7. Bravo. *Shares the win.*
  8. Why are you fighting with your sister again? You don't mean....
  9. *Wins. Before taking a seat."
  10. I open a single eye and trail off as I sense Herate turn around. I meet her gaze for a moment. "This an old song that I learned in my youth many eons ago. It speaks of those who have been lost and yet are not truly gone. I find that it clears my mind when I need to be at peace. I cannot lose myself to dreams, but I can immerse myself in it." I close my eye and resume humming.
  11. *Wanders in and wins.*
  12. I lean back and begin to hum. The ancient dirge that rolls off of my tongue is a low mournful tune. I close my eyes and allow the whispered music to surround me.
  13. Why so defensive? I don't know....
  14. I walk over to Herate. I settle down with my back to the wall facing away from her. "Do you mind if I keep you company?" Perhaps they will perhaps they won't.
  15. What kind of measure is that? You can't prove that!
  16. "It can't possibly make things worse. Besides if I'm going to go down. I can think of no better way than doing so with my friends."
  17. I look at Fadran reigning in my rage. I nod. I let both my blades and the storm dissipate.
  18. I turn and advance slowly. I incline my head slightly in respect. With all of the speed of light I leap forward. My blades slash Winter's flesh.I follow winter in flight as the winds gust faster.
  19. I stop. "Have I little creature? Show yourself and we shall see who has made the mistake."
  20. I call down bolts of lightning which strike the creature head on. I then run forward at inhuman speed. I bury my blades in the creature's chest.
  21. "What manner of creature are you?" I step forward my glow becoming blinding. Lightning flashes through the sky. Thunder roars. Winds gust.
  22. The air cracks as storm clouds form overhead. A boom of thunder shakes the air and winds begin to blow.
  23. I follow after Fadran and Vale summoning two blades of light as I go. My glow grows.
  24. I don't disagree. I feel as though she at this point most exemplifies this feeling though. With things as they are she has few choices. Logic might dictate especially if she is in fear of assassination to get as far away as possible as was suggested elsewhere from the one place that an assassin would likely find her or try to worm her way back into Dalinar's good graces in order to gain his protection. She does not try these options. Now escape might see her killed as we have already seen happen, but there is still another option. No her pride and maybe that is Alethi pride caused her to be so rigid that I honestly believe that once her last safety bubble was compromised she would be willing to die rather than have her freedom taken. At this point rational people would regroup likely by throwing herself at the mercy of whoever it was that found her she is unwilling to do this.
