I meant that I thought that he could burn invested atium and choose to be a bit younger for a year instead of being really young for the duration of the burning, basically still have the effect long after the burn even without a metalmind.

Got it, thanks. I was under the impression that he could just choose how to spread his youthfulness after burning atium, just like with regular metalmind.

I read all of the Mistborn books and I know about compounding, but it has been more than 10 years since I read the original trilogy and its seems I forgot the answers to an age old question. In the final fight between Vin and the Lord Ruler, after Vin pulls his metal minds the Lord Ruler starts to age rapidly, why? From what I know the Lord Ruler store youthfulness in atium, he then burn the atium to get extra youthfulness so he end with a positive gain of youthfulness. He needs no metal minds on his person because he gain the benefits of Feruchemy by burning not tapping metals. What am I missing?

I'm about to finish my re-read of Oathbringer, and I couldnt find anything that supports the claim that Glys is a corrupted Truthwatcher spren. It is mentioned that Sja-anat can only corrupt lesser spren, and in her page in Mythica it says she can create her own spren. She also says that her son(or child, dont remember the exact word) can vouch for her(can we all agree that she speaks about Glys?). From what I can see 90% of the people here think that Glys is a truthwatcher spren. Am I missing something? Is there a WOB about that?

Adolin-Shallan-Kaladin are out because of the love triangle(not a fan). Dalinar is the obvious choice, so he is out as well. Whice leaves me with: Moash and Leshwi. Leshwi shows the fuzed in an interesting way+ best name in the cosmere. Moash is becoming anti-kaladin, just thinking on their inevitable clash gives me goosebumps.

That's my bet. Kaladin will "never" date a lighteyed girl, he says that much to Syl, after meeting Laral. His hate for lighteyes story line will end with him falling for a lighteyed girl.

I didn't see anyone mention this here, though I might be wrong. In tWoK prologue Brandon explains(through Szeth) why humans can't hold srotmlight forever, and hints to why the Fused seem to never run out of voidlight: "Stormlight could be held for only a short time, a few minutes at most. It leaked away, the human body too porous a container. He heard that the Voidbringer could hold it in perfectly." I don't think that the Fused don't waste voidlight by using their surges, and I don't think that they're being constantly invested all the time. I believe that they're being invested periodically, though I have no idea what is the source(like spheres and the highstorm). And that they seem to always be invested because they're so much more efficient with the investiture. If I'm correct, Venli is going to be a powerhouse next book.
