  1. @Calderis Probably only the people who are also slightly autistic or have family/friends who are though that may well be more than we might assume, very slightly autistic people (me included) may well have books of this type as a slight obsession
  2. @ccstat I don't know! I can't decide if it's hard to wait a week in between each set of sample chapters or just the months for the whole book.. and to be fair I have a lot of other sanderson books to be getting through when I'm finally free from my degree in september!
  3. Hi @lyht, @Rebecca & @Koloss, good to meet you all! At the moment I've read a bit of an odd selection.. I found The Way of Kings in the library (I love humongous books), read the first few pages and then didn't look back! I've read: The Way of Kings Words of Radiance The Final Empire (but not the other two yet!) The Emperor's Soul Arcanum Unbounded (except the bits with spoiler for the books I haven't read) The Rithmatist I've literally just started Elantris, and after that I intend to reread The Final Empire and the rest of the Mistborn books. Or I might read Warbreaker before I embark on the Mistborn books.. then on to the rest of the Cosmere! Not sure yet! I also want to leave time to reread the stormlight books before Oathbringer comes out in November. As for favourites... I think all of the Stormlight Archives series will be my favourite, but I've devoured and loved everything of his that I've read - it's so hard to pick a favourite. I'm just about to take the last three exams for my degree, but then from the 5th September I'm free, so I'm planning on hibernating with books from then!
  4. Hi all, I'm a 22 (almost 23) year old, just finishing my physics masters degree in England. I found Sanderson through the Way of Kings when I borrowed it from the library about a year and a half ago and fell in love with his work. I've been steadily devouring his books since then.. I'm not even nearly done which thrills me as I've loved all of the ones I've read. It will be a very sad day when I finally catch up to his release schedule.. I love pretty much all sf/f books, any recommendations will be happily received. Nice to meet you all!!
