  1. "The age isn't relevant, anywhere within a decade or so. It's the condition of the body that matters." Kestraal replied.
  2. Syndicate finished his drink with a sigh. It seemed that Bellatrix would be conferring with the other gang members for quite some time, but the alliance was already loosely agreed upon, and so he singled the panthers to begin moving equipment into a side-area just off the warehouse. They would do it silently, ensuring they don't get caught. Things were all falling into place.
  3. Got it, thanks for the input! Here's what I added: He tends to focus on one opponent at a time, meaning he can be overwhelmed easily, Additionally, he's shortsighted, needing to wear contacts so he can see properly. Here's the full sheet. Should I put it up on the full list?
  4. "That does pose a problem. Did the waiter have any allies or was he acting independently?"
  5. Could I get someone to double-check my scoring on Bel & Alson please? I'm probably biased considering I made the characters.
  6. Kestraal, now back in the canton assigned area let out a sigh. "What happened to the Waiter in charge of the army?" He asked the rest of the representatives. "If he's prisoner I would like to assist in interrogating him. If he died in the fight, I would be grateful if I could see the body. The canton has an epic with a rather unnatural power to create a replica of someone's consciousness from their corpse. We might be able to have a brief conversation with the Waiter in question"
  7. It took Devaan some time to find out where Max and Althea lived. He was happy it did. Max had been thorough when he made sure not many people knew where he lived, not many of his underworld contacts could find his place. But it was much easier to trace Althea. Still difficult, but easier then Max. Devaan arrived at the small apartment just as it was getting dark. He had a bottle of Scadrian whiskey for them. He looked around and was satisfied to see that no one was tailing him. Hellbent, I'm going to ask you to behave here. It would be embarrassing for both of us if you got control and started shouting obscenities at what essentially amounts to my Son and Daughter in law. They're also fellow council members, so at least remember that. With a deep breath, Devaan knocked on the door. @Sorana @I think I am here.
  8. Kestraal grunted as Wes left. He dismissed the Aon listening device he placed on him. Wes seemed to be a good enough kid, he'd do the right thing. Lusk, on the other hand... He was different. His closest ally is himself. Kestraal didn't trust Lusk at all. He respected the ghostblood, a good enough fighter, not a good enough man. Kestraal heard a footstep. He burned bendalloy and whirled around, finding a man facing him with a knife in his hand. The man was wearing all greys. Mottled in a way where his figure was disguised with the walls if seen from afar. He had a panther tattoo adorn his right eye. He held himself confidently. The man was a professional. Kestraal dropped the bubble and acted like he hadn't seen the man. His fingers lit up and he ducked the swipe that would have sliced the back of his head open. Kicking the man and throwing him from the canton stand into the central area. He hit the ground on his back with a thud. Groaning as he lay there. "Sorry for the interruption folks. Just an assassin sent by a gang who doesn't like us canton members too much." Kestraal jumped down and dragged the would-be assassin over to the precoursers. "Take good care of him for me" He told them
  9. Devaan sighed. He expected this, of course. Devaan threw Benson on the ground and smoothly inserted a tracking chip into his wrist, cutting open the skin. It attached itself to the vein. If it was to be ripped out, the vein would have to go as well. He also shoved another tracker in his mouth, handing him over to Vesuvius. "Don't try to remove the tracker I put in his wrist. It'll probably kill him, It's got aluminium residue so investiture won't save him fast enough. That's stuck there. We'll come for him later." Devaan went to leave and then remembered something. "If you kill another kid with that detonator. I'll cut off your limbs and leave you to starve to death with a chaos fiend I trapped 17 years ago." He added before he left. @Sorana & @I think I am here., I'm ready for Devaan to go to the house scene thread for dinner when you are.
  10. Kestraal discreetly drew some customised aons. He could now hear everything that Wes said and heard for the next fifteen minutes or so. Hopefully it would work and he’d be able to listen in on any conversation that Wes had with the Jackal. A small Aon pulsed softly behind Wes’s ear.
  11. “But of course” Syndicate nodded. Motioning to the other members of the gang to talk to Bellatrix. He stood back and prepared himself a drink. Pouring some scotch into a glass whilst he sat and waited for a decision. @Element of Chaos
  12. Syndicate looked at Mark and quickly dismissed him as a real threat. "We have plans that are quite extensive and profitable. We would be willing to share the revenue with you if we had some assistance" Syndicate produces a slim piece of paper and handed it to Bellatrix. The paper had complete sketches of the triumvirate leaders of the Canton of Combat, in addition to structural weaknesses, levels of skill and full blueprints of the building. It also included possible hit locations on Canton Ally HQ's. Some small GB strongholds that could be used to stop them from helping the Canton fend off the attack. "We'll rob everything from the vault. Killing them all while doing it"
  13. Of course. It's good to have you back. Devaan slipped into the front seat of Ronin. "Benson. Do you still agree to the duel if we set you free now?" He asked him
  14. "I'll get it now. Thanks for letting me know, I'm sorry it ended this way" Silphio looked around, Astiel had already left, it seems. He let the trainees know he'd be out for a while and they were to take some time off from training if they wanted to. He took off into the air, towards the canton.
  15. "Thats not technically true now" Kestrel replied. "Anyone with enough money could recruit people for this, and also have tattoo artists draw on GB symbols. I've got some people looking into it, I doubt the council would approve an attack on the church without serious reason."
  16. The canton's replacement representative walked in hurriedly. Astiel had slipped away some time before, he got bored quite easily. The man sat down in the canton area, a small box situated directly next to the ghost blood area. He glowed with silver skin and had a long scar running up his cheek. Kestraal grinned at the proceedings, he was always interested in politicking but never had the opportunity to participate, until now. He assessed the situation quickly, listening about the topic of discussion before he got up. "Should I send some canton members over to the church for relief work? I can send some intelligence members with them to get a better grasp of the situation" In truth, Kestraal had already sent members over undercover. Astiel had decided that at least some people had to keep an eye on the church, but this way Kestraal could get more members in with canton insignia so they could get civilians to safety and see whether or not it was a council decision.
  17. Ok, Devaan's part to that post then. I'll rewrite it here "Well" Devaan said out loud in response to that situation. He looked at Benson. "So what the Hell are we doing wit you?"
  18. Syndicate noticed the two people who were talking earlier turn to him, one drew their knives, the other gained muscle density. Words appeared in front of them. Brute shardbearer. Threat level 4. Epic with power redirection. Channels between two different people. Threat level 3. Weakness: Male Touch
  19. Vesuvius looked up towards the sky, his eyes widened. "Plans have changed" He told them "You can keep Benson. The children will be released" Vesuvius looked at them and walked away calmly, he rounded a corner and disappeared. *** "Well" Devaan replied in response to the situation. "Dinner at your place?" He asked Althea.
  20. Syndicate's face turned into a sneer upon hearing Bellatrix's threats. He then glanced around the room, his eyes flashing gold instead of silver. He looked at each member, then finally back to Bellatrix. Pyrokenisis, blood forged with fire bringer's lense. Average skill with each ability. Threat level, six. "I am the head of an organisation known as the Panthers, we would like to ally ourselves with you, considering we are in a, ahem Similar line of work." Syndicate absently tapped is cane while observing Bellatrix, like any competent leader, she was completely unreadable. "We have a target, but we would like to share this hideout with you while we fully gather our resources. This entails we work together to protect eachother"
  21. A bald man walked into the room, he was wearing a black shirt and trousers with a long black overcoat. He had light skin and a panther tattoo adorned his silver eyes. He looked around. "Hello. You may call me 'Syndicate' and I would request to speak to your leader." So this is the blood flame gang. He thought to himself. An alliance could be quite beneficial, considering the situation we're in.
  22. "Nothing you could do about it" He told Max softly, he had finished telling the trainees what had happened and they had gone to their bunks. Seb had been a great kid, he wasn't that much of a fighter but he was amazing at defending people and healing them. Everyone here liked him. "I thought he was dead. The guy with the dynamite, I mean. He must of had some healing on him or something" Silphio muttered. "Alson and Bel are going to try to bring the panthers down, I've already got some intelligence agents trailing them in case they get into trouble, but they want them all dead. If you get contacted by someone who says the words 'Seancing brings only grief' and a location, It means that those two are in trouble. I won't stop them, I don't think I want to, but please don't let them die."
  23. The man holding the spearhead perked up at the word 'Allomancy,' clutching his spearhead a little tighter. "Allomancy? Dear me no. I'm just ordinary" The old lady told Csilsen. "Is it ok if I leave now? I'm sure my granddaughter would be worried about me now"
  24. Alson looked up at the conversation going on. He stood up. "Prepare a funeral service for Seb please" He told Silphio coldly. Dusting himself off and turning to Astiel. "I need all the information you have on this gang" "Why the hell would you want that?" Astiel replied "Seb was my brother" His voice was soft, quiet but determined. "I'm going to murder all of them" Astiel nodded. "Revenge won't get you anything kiddo, but it sure as hell feels good. I'll help you. Here's all their info from when I ran them." Astiel produced a small note from his pocket, scribbling locations, names and rough sketches down. Bel stood up, he face a mask of stone, she walked to Alson's side "I'll join you." She told him as they walked off down the mountain. Silphio was shocked. They just... left. He went inside the house, he'd have to break the news to the trainees. He'd then set up a funeral pyre off the Scadrian sea and they'd watch it burn in memory of Seb. * Astiel walked over to the two people talking. "Hey, what the hell are you two doing here?" He asked them @Dr. Dapper @Vargo Seldon
