Ah yeah, forgot about that one. Probably not spoilers, but I feel you would enjoy both a lot more if you understood the context of Allomancer Jak and read Era Two before Secret History.
-
Except that Mistborn: Secret History is in AU and I'm pretty sure Brandon said that Secret History is meant to be read after Alloy of Law, although he would prefer if you waited until after Bands of Mourning. (As well as Allomancer Jak which is also set in Era Two) As for the short story set on Sel, it does not contain any Elantris spoilers to my knowledge, so spoilerwise you should be fine there either way. Yeah so my recommendation would be to read both Elantris and Era Two first before reading Arcanum Unbounded, so that you can have a better understand and don't have to be worried at all about spoilers. But that's just my opinion. Also, welcome!

Dallas acknowledged Gav's thanks with a simple nod, ignoring the 'glasses' jab. As for the bloke who seemed to have a taste for fancy clothes (although why was beyond her comprehension), he had put himself at that disadvantage by revealing both his name and abilities almost the moment he met them. (Apologies if Dallas comes off as standoffish and stuck-up. She's just extremely reserved and has a bad tendency to judge people in her head. Also as you can probably tell, where she comes from although its a warrior-based community they have a very strong 'knowledge is power' belief. So basically to her giving away their 'identity' (so names, abilities, heritage, basically anything about them) is like handing someone a list of your weaknesses and trusting them not to use them against you. The more they know about you, the easier they can detect your weaknesses ect. So she's more than a little confused and judgemental as to why these people are so open with each other when they can't even be sure that they're trustworthy) (sorry if that doesn't makes sense )

(....how do you know my name? Or is that just you and Gave doesn't know?)

@Moonrise Welcome! Have an upvote and a spiked cookie!

They were all fools, barging blindly into unknown places without any sort of precaution. Dallas eyed the glowing brick wall weirdly. "I'm not planning on sticking around either." Again, why was it so important that they knew each other's names? They were all strangers, and she wasn't about to go handing off a piece of her identity to a bunch of strangers.

aka. the best you can get of One Direction *chokes from laughing

Dallas' eyes registered a slight square outline in the floor space Gav had just stepped into. Before anyone could blink, her arm reached out and yanked him back from the pressure plate, just as a net swooped down and retreated back up, empty. She lifted her eyebrows, noting the tiny spikes embedded in the net that would have made things uncomfortable for the non-existent captive.

This is pure gold.

(can we all put the photos in spoiler boxes for size? thanks) Dallas turned to the new guy and glared at his conspicuous glinting gold cuff-links. She didn't say anything though, instead stepping to stand in front of the door, analysing the seemingly abandoned corridor.

(Basically yeah )

(Lol when I hear Hugh Jackman I think Wolverine) (Also I'm not going to attack Gav or anything - just taking precautions in case there's anything sinister behind there. After all, we did just suddenly appear in this random room for some reason.)
-
Dallas watched as Gav began to open the doors without any sort of precautions as to what lay behind those doors. Her hands slowly reached to rest on her knives.
-
Dallas simply nodded. Her name was her identity and she wasn't exactly ready to throw it out to these strangers. "You planning on opening those?"
-
(Yeah, great team bonding experience ) Dallas faced the wide-eyed younger girl, who looked half-startled and was gripping the hilt of her sword like a half-threat. Her eyes took in the girl (wiry, fast reflexes, a speed runner based on the long limbs and physique, looked about 15 or 16) and moved on to the young man who was smiling, unlike the young girl who had tension written on every inch of her face. "Hope you don't expect me to answer that one." she drawled "unless you want me to whip out my birth certificate and ID chip." (note: I have no idea where this is set on but Dallas isn't from Earth. A world like it, maybe, but definitely not actual Earth)
-
Dallas opened her eyes, only to have them met by a dim beam of light heading straight for her eyeball. She quickly closed them again, slowly registering the thinly carpeted floor underneath her body. Twisting, she sat up and took a quick scan of the room. It was a strange room, filled with ancient looking bookshelves and furniture coloured so brightly that they hurt her dark-accustomed eyes to look at. She observed a little further, noting the dazed looking man seated on the couch across the room and the young girl sitting across from him. She stood up slowly, catlike, taking in the massive chandelier when a thought struck her. She had just appeared without warning in a strange room with two other people, so why wasn't she alarmed in the slightest? A small flash of panic appeared at the thought and was promptly smothered by heavy yet suffocating calmness. She flicked her braid over her shoulder and turned to face the the two occupants. (sorry about taking so long to get back to you guys!)

Okay, this looks amazingly fun. Count me in, although I'm not quite sure how this works. Character Form Name Dallas Kempton Age 20 Description Not particularly tall but not particularly short either. She has a slim build, olive skin, dirty blonde hair, and dark brown eyes that reside behind thick rimmed glasses. Personality Generally quite enough that most people are surprised to hear her speak. However, if she feels strongly about something, you'll never persuade her otherwise. She hides emotions easily so at first sight everyone assumes that she's serene and opinionless (until she talks). Not easily made upset (or shows it, anyways), but when she does, it's like a bomb erupted in the middle of the room. Has a very dry sense of humour. Flaw(s) Tends to shut people out more than is good for her. She also tends to stereotype and judge people quickly. A lot of the times doesn't know when is good to back down. Powers (if any) Dallas has sharp observational skills and an uncanny way with daggers. Stealthy when she wants to be, which is 99% of the time. At will, her hands can grow hot enough to melt metal without affecting the normal form of her hands. She is still vulnerable to heat on any other part of her body, though. (Kind of not realistic? )

I'm alive and not dead in a ditch! So sorry that I haven't been keeping up with this game but I've had a lot on recently and only hadn't time for a couple of quick checkups.

@Ookla the Stormwarden, welcome to our ranks. Also one question - how is the windrunner "most convenient to you"? Also, checking the Surgefinders thread and seeing as windrunners are devoted to honor, yet you were on a quest to being the most powerful person in the universe, would you say you're a Surgefinder or a Vindicator?
