@Delightful I love smashed potatoes: really just potatoes that are hit slightly to become nice and flat, coated with the spice/s of your preference, and baked in the oven.

So, tonight I made a mushroom-and-ricotta lasagne for dinner, and it looks so good.

I was just about to say that! I can think of cases in books where really bad things have been done to people's minds, invasion of privacy, etc. I think those definitely deserve the title: the problem is that there's no better term for more 'minor' cases I think.

@Darkness Ascendant the shattered infinity symbol is cool. I can just imagine an English teacher talking about its symbolism, though...

Ugh, that sounds so annoying...from what I've heard though, I think basically every job involving customer service has to go through that...

I often call my friends good budgies, or bad budgies, or at one point medicorce budgies. Or potatoes.

Oh...that does sound annoying. I mean, yes, it is sad that something like that happened, but it was 18 years ago. Chances are, almost none of the teachers are still there, and definitely none of the students. It's sad they can't look past what happened and see the school for what it is now.

@Darkness Ascendant those do look kinda messy, but in a really cool way.

I watched it last night. Loved the music for sure, and the animation was incredible at points. The scene in the beginning, where Moana is picking up shells the ocean leaves in a trail, and the water forms a wall and turtle swims past was beautiful. As for the storyline...it was interesting that it didn't have a villain in the way that many films do. I won't expand on this point, because spoilers and if you've watched it you understand, but the way it was done was good, and also made sense. The rest of the storyline wasn't incredibly complex or anything, but it was certainly different from the Disney princess movies of the past. Overall, it was good.

Just finished all the Alcatraz books (apart from The Dark Talent, which my local library doesn't have), and I've started reading the graphic novel Maus. I've also been reading Empress, a book about Empress Wu of China.

@Darkness Ascendant well then...good to know you're okay (well...pretty good). That sounds kinda bad, but don't feel sorry for it. I just hope things get better.
