That's cool. So we pretty much agree that the OP's theory is unlikely to pan out? I know but IDC. It will also likely function differently on Roshar from other Rosharan shard blades, regardless of Vasher's intent to copy them. Brandon already confirmed that bonds may grant abilities on Roshar, but i dont see how that would change Nightblood's nature.

Ah, so that little fact was is taken from some Q&A with Brandon...okay. Regardless, Nightblood functions differently from Rosharan Shardblades (as we've seen from the books) and is stated by Brandon to have been made using a different magic system. Nightblood was created using Biochroma and has no relationship to Honor or oaths and the 10 surges. Brandon even states in one link that even having something similar to a Nahel bond with something other than those specific radiant spren won't grant surges. Why would Nightblood?

Lightweavers dont speak oaths beyond the 1st so she has no 3rd oath to speak. However, she certainly didn't advance after killing her mom since she kept Pattern hidden away... yet she is still somehow ahead of Kaladin after only 1 powerful truth (an oath equivalent for lightweavers) so she must have reached a relatively high level at a very young age. Even if Lighweavers can immediately access Blades Shallan was probably at a level equivalent to 3rd oath Kaladin any wayso, so eh.

You think he was reffering to Jezrien while seemingly speaking towards Gawx? I don't know why but okay. I cant infer the skin colors of the Heralds from stone carvings...They all look gray to me. I assume that Jezrien is dark skinned based on his daughter being dark skinned and his being held as a god by certain Makabi people. I can't imagine black skinned people having a god that isn't black skinned.

No, it isnt. What made you think that Vasher was trying to recreate a Rosharan shardblade when creating Nightblood? Nightblood has nothing in common with spren made shardblades other than that they are powerfully invested weapons.

He's not an honor blade nor designed to mimic one so why we would he grant the same abilities?

Lightweavers don't have multiple ideals that Im aware of. She's ahead of Kaladin in advancement by the end of WoR even after a period of self delusion and stagnation so yes, she reached Kaladin's current level (oath 3 to make things simple) at a very young age.

Yeah, I cant think of a single good reason for why he wouldn't use it. Shallan sure since she isnt a fighter but why wouldn't Kaladin use something that dramatically increases his fighting ability and chances of survival and victory? He's definitely going to get it sooner or later.

....Still Gawx. Why would Nale announce that Jezrien will rule in wisdom when recognizing and bowing to Gawx? That wouldn't make much sense. You theorized that Jezrien could be Niter, an Alethi man. However, Jezrien likely has the dark skin of a Makabaki and wouldn't appear as an Alethi just as he is unlikely to be an old graying man when one of the few things we know about him is that he is surprisingly young.

Isn't Nale referring to Gawx when he says "may he lead in wisdom?" I doubt that Jezrien wouldn't be dark skinned when his daughter is and when he held up as a god by a dark skinned people. I don't think he would look Alethi.
