  1. Piccolo is near. My flute looks just like it, but is way longer. I actually had to wait and grow up so I could reach the far end.
  2. Nope. I literally mean a flute you hold to the side. Looks like this: And I´ve heard that cookies are somehow suspicious...?
  3. Hi, it took me really long to come up with that title (despite the fact that I DO live on the 13th floor...I´m not good at starting stuff). Anyway. I live in Prague, which is a nice city, so happens to be the capital of Czech republic as well. I´ve known cosmere for a while, but found out about this forum only recently. I usually read fantasy (grew up on Pratchett, thanks mom), mostly Brandon, Pratchett, and Gaiman, but I have people like Sapkowski, Lukjaněnko or Maja Lydia Kosakowska (she´s pretty great. Grillbar Galaxy. Not sure it´s out in English) on my list of read as well (and I can pronounce their names, every single one). I promised to myself to never read or watch GoT, since I hate when invested so much energy into a character, that I remember their name, and then they just die. Except for reading, I am scout, play a few instruments (flute, that-weird-flute-you-hold-to-the-side, guitar, ukulele), debate, watch some series, actively participate in HP RPG, go to school, sing in a choir, and sometimes make something. Like, with my hands. Usually ends bad.
  4. Well, this happened about...3 years ago? But thanks to Sanderson I could finaly fully enjoy the Discworld series (which are great, but even greater in context of more tradittional fantasy) and got an A from the end-of-high-school exams from English, so, yes, one of the best things that could happen to me
  5. Um...actually, that term refers to people who feel sexual attraction, only after developing some kind of bond first. They need to get to know the other person first. In other light, aromantic greysexual here. Still unsure, still researching, still not understanding the whole dating concept.
  6. Some time ago people were wondering in this thread about how could be Melody so sure that Joel would become a Rithmatist...And maybe she just speculated? If she knew that a new Rithmatist could be transformed only if one died (I don´t remember who said it in the books), then she could just count, since for all she knew, three RIthmatists just died, which meant that there will be probably a need for more Rithmatists than is usual, therefore more will be chosen. And Joel went to the inception chamber as first, therefore he had the greatest chance of being chosen. Being so good at Rithmatics couldn´t hurt him, either, and he was Melody´s friend, so she might have simply persuaded herself that it will work. And these factors apply even if she didn´t know about the dead R -> new R. Therefore the Rithmatists don´t necessarily have to have a secret way of securing their children to become Rithmatists (like...they still can, but I don´t think it probable.)
  7. I found out about Brandon at a library. Some librarian put, according to the description on the back, the first book of the Mistborn series on display. It sounded really cool, so I decided to take it and immediately ducked to look for other parts. And I found them! All three novels of the trilogy. Something about ascension and another one called The final empire, so it is probably the last one (final things tend to be at the end)... You can imagine how surprised I was at home when I found too exactly same titles. And both of them were the first book...At least I understood why the librarian who checked off my books looked so suspiciously at me.
