In RoW we see Rlain teach humans a Rhythm that encourages lifespren to use stormlight and help plans grow faster. Is this Rhythm the Rhythm of Progression? And if so does this mean that each surge can be accessed with enough Light and the appropriate Rhythm?

Can a mistwraith become a kandra by bonding a spren?
Seeker861 replied to Seeker861's question in Cosmere Q&A
Thank you for this WoB! Very interesting. -
We know that the spikes placed into a mistwraith fixes their cognitive blockage. Could a spren bond be used to fix this blockage as well?
-
From what we know of Nohodon he seems like the perfectly ideal Radiant so I think he was the first Radiant with Honor as his spren.
-
What if Nohodon was a Radiant who had formed a Nahel bond with Honor himself?

After reading Oathbringer I began to think that each Order of Radiants acquire their Squires through different methods. Windrunner Squires clearly need to feel a strong bond with their Knight. Skybreakers appear to be able to "deputize" individuals to make them a Squire, like Ki did with Szeth. And it seems like Shallan only gets them after she reveals the secret of her being Veil, so maybe Ligthweavers need to share secrets or just be honest with their potential Squires. Is there anything here or am I overthinking this?

So far we know that the Fused are ancient Singers that are not pulled to the Beyond (does this make them Cognitive Shadows?) and that each one controls a Surge. This has lead me to an idea about how they came to be. I think that Odium fused each of them with a lesser Voidspren when they died which resulted in them being able to resist the pull of the Beyond and gain the ability to manipulate a single Surge. This would also explain their name, since they are fused with a spren.

[OB] Who cried? (It's okay to cry. Admit it. You cried.)
Seeker861 replied to Duke of Lizards's topic in Stormlight Archive
I lost it when Syl told Kaladin it was time for someone to save him. I'm glad my roommates were away and I didn't have to explain my crazy crying to them. -
Dalinar did something to operate the Oathgate when he left Thaylen City. Did he: A. Summon the Stormfather as a blade. B. Summon a piece of the Stormfather as a blade. C. Do something with Connection and the Spren of the Oathgate. D. Something we don't know about yet.

I think that Breath would allow a device to function similarly to a persons mind which could be used to make a computer once Nalthis is advanced enough. What are your thoughts on this?
-
That is a good point one which I have no rebuttal for. I am now very interested to see where the murder storyline goes. Yes we definitely need this. Perhaps Shallan and Dalinar can work together to project his vision like a movie.

Midnight Essence is one of the 10 Deaths I believe but I feel like its more of a twisting of Shalash's attributes. Instead of being creative its merely imitating. I bet its an old one that survived and that's why its alone. Unless it isn't...
-
I'm fairly certain Barry is a Midnight Essence based on this WoB.

Many of us believe that Trell is actually Autonomy, I buy into this theory as well. I don't think Autonomy is on Scadrial or even in the star system because that seems like a dangerous thing to do with Harmony around. Now how has a new Godmetal formed without a Shard being invested on Scadrial? I have an idea based on this WoB from @swieczq I believe that the red-eyed Faceless Immortals are agents of Autonomy who are using the light from Taldain's star to create Trellium.

I think the woman is Cultivation and that the mask on the ground is mean to be Honor. The fallen mask appears to be somewhat masculine looking and has shards or splinters coming from it. I have no ideas about what the woman taking her mask off means.

Wavestrider. They use Gravitation and Illumination. Their Spren would look like a tiny blue sun that shoots off yellow solar flares every now and then. I got the name from gravity and light both having waves.

We know that a person can have a Spren bond and wield an Honorblade in order to gain multiple Surges. I'm not sure a Spren would be comfortable with their Knight using Nightblood though. This would be an awesome ability.

I believe that Nightblood will grant Szeth powers of some kind but not Surges. I like the idea of him being able to leach Investiture away from a being, it would fit nicely with Nightblood. His abilities might also be similar to what comes from the Heightenings.

I like the name sprenium as well. And I've always felt that every Shardblade is more or less the same material kinda like how cold rolled steel and stainless steel are both steel just slightly different. So Syl would become Honor sprenium and Pattern would become Cryptic sprenium

We are bound to see some new Oaths in Oathbringer and I wanted to share some of my predictions. Firstly I think Kaladin's 4th Oath will be about leading and he will say it after taking charge of the freed Parshmen he has found. I'd really like to see Shallan say her final Truth and form Shardplate or do something equally awesome but I don't see that happening in this book. We will definitely see Dalinar say at least his 3rd Oath. I hope we get to at least hear what some of Renarin's Oaths are. What are some of your Oath predictions?

Man I feel dumb for thinking they had Soulcasters.
-
We know that extended use of a Soulcaster changes a person's body and that it is something similar to Savantism. We also know that the Parshendi used Soulcasters to supply their food during their war with the Alethi. Would a Parshendi be susceptible to the affects of prolonged Soulcaster use? I personally feel that they wouldn't be as they have a more malleable cognitive aspect.

[OB] Who is the author of Oathbringer?
Seeker861 replied to DiamondMind's topic in Stormlight Archive
Could the author be an original Radiant? Maybe they saw the future and learned the secret that caused the Recreance. Seeing the future could also explain the comment about women reading the book. What they are pleading for the reader to understand is why they chose to break their Oaths. -
Kandra obviously produce some sort of acid that they use to digest bodies so maybe they can inject that acid to create a similar effect to the venom some spiders use.
