  1. Which is why I'll be working with the Children, mostly. I do want to help you guys, and I will. If I switch my vote at the end of the turn, then there won't be time for a bandwagon to build up, and I will still be going with the majority. This is not a bad thing. Plus, I did not say I'd only be doing that. I will be using my suspicions to place votes, however, I do think there will be vote manips, and I don't see how it could be seen as problematic for me to help build a strong lynch. Building a strong lynch is a very good thing, and I don't know why you don't like it. It seems like you want the lynch to not be very firm, and easily swayable. Also, usually, the lynch at the end of the game has some decent reasoning behind it, and I will make sure to see that I have a good reason to firm up the lynch, so you don't need to worry about that. I still don't see a good reason not to lynch Stink; In fact, more people have given reasons to lynch him since I last checked. I'll probably be keeping my vote on him unless a very good reason not to appears.
  2. No, Stink was setting a precedent for randomly hopping and swapping. I'm saying I'll work with the majority, and put down 1 vote at the end of the cycle. These things are very different. Also, BB is right. We don't need a lynch. However, I'm very ready to lynch STINK.
  3. Why? I don't really see a reason to lynch me. I'm neutral, willing to help the village, and have done nothing wrong. And I did not say I was going to bandwagon. I said I was going to aid the Village in whatever they decide for the end of the cycle. But theirs not really a village, so it sounded a bit odd.
  4. Ok. Huh. Should I use the Flavor Text? It just seems to be more work, and I don't really see the need. Also, I don't really see a reason to lynch Stink any more, but there is still no really good alternitive. I have no faction/goal reason to lynch people, so I mainly will try to get rid of kill roles that seem dangerous, and I will probably try to kill the Odiumers, but other than that I'll just follow the lynch. I'm still worried about vote Manips, especially after my last LG. Man, that was a nightmare. So, I'll basically hop on the person with the most votes at the end of the cycle.
  5. Wow. Just got on right now. I did not know that the Children existed until when Joe said it earlier. Was it in the OP? I don't remember seeing it, and I read through it twice. I thought this game was like LG 23, with the Spiked and the Houses. That's the closest thing I've seen to this game. But the Children appear to be an Anti-Odium Faction, which needs to kill Odiumers? That's what I'm getting from the thread and my World PM. I'll say I'm not a child, because that's true, and I still have no confirmation that the Children actually exist, although the shear number of people saying that they do would make me think that they probably do. I would like to explain more about my role/faction, but it's really simple and kind of hard to explain without giving things away. Aman was pretty close. Paranoid's PM sounds oddly like mine, which I guess is not surprising, it just means I was right about multiple factions. Are we calling the Odiumers God's Own Hate? Is that confirmed?
  6. I'll take that. It would fit with what I know of my role. It pretty closely matches an independent from another game I have played.
  7. Oh. Huh. I assumed their was no village faction because my role PM, which blatantly said I was not evil, did not pronounce me village. Well, by all the usual standards, I'm not an Elim. Not even close. Well, take that how you may. I'd rather not discuss a lot more of my Role PM on D1, but I can't take back that I said I was not pronounced 'Village'. I have to go soon, although I'd like the chance to continue this discussion.
  8. This is exactly what you said: In response to this: Which did not really answer your refutations from this post: In which you pretty much openly insulted him. Plus, the way you jumped around in the way you did makes my alarm bells go off. True, but those posts seem to be used by Elims fairly often. However, you may have just been attempting to start discussion. I'll give you that. This was largely to prevent you voting on me. You've actually defended yourself surprisingly well, and I, for one, will remove my vote from you if you can provide a better target. Couldn't, now, not wouldn't, originally. It could very well have been an Elim thing, especially after that post about us 'Knowing how you would do things now.' Still, I'm ready to hop off you. Provide a target. But first, get some sleep. edit: Blast. Ninja'd, and by a vote on me. Joe, I did not say I was not a villager. Are you just messing with me? I am a villager. I am not of odium: I am against odium.
  9. I did not really find it funny. I mean, some of it was mildly amusing, but a lot of it felt hard, if not harsh. Maybe it's just my sense of humor. I'll admit I'm overly fond of saying people have made key mistakes. And then I have a tendency to not back it up. So, I'll do that. Sorry for not clarifying, I have been a bit busy and just wanted to get a vote in. Plus, you had not defended yourself very well, IMO. Key Point 1: You have been rather harsh in your attack on Mark, and while I'll give you Kudos for basically creating three pages of conversation from scratch, the way you attacked him and then jumped off seemed rather... odd? It was like you were trying to prove you could out-do him. Key Point 2: Your accusations on Mark were the hollow, over-analyzed type that I really, really hate. They were basically just word twisting, and some trumped up accusations that really had nothing behind them. Plus, you kept at it, basically just running circles and throwing dodgeballs. It made no sense, and I took it seriously. I considered telling Mark to ignore you: I decided that would be uncalled for, plus, you jumped off of him soon after I thought about doing so. Key Point 3: 2 out of 3 of your votes did not have a lot of content, and were weak. The third was overdone, and seemed very off, as i have stated previously. This set off several people's alarm bells, such as Joe, Sheep, and myself. That's really it for now. There are probably more. I'll keep my vote on you for now, because I don't see another good option, and I think it will prompt discussion D2. Basically, 80% of our D1 discussion, has been discussing how to make more D1 discussion. Oddly, it's made up 3 or for pages. But seriously, if you can provide a better, non-Magestar target, then and can back it up, then I'll switch. But right now, I see no net loss to killing you, and a possible net gain. LoL. Does anyone else find this extremely amusing? So much IKYK. So much analysis. So much SE. Anyway, I think you guys are thinking about this way to hard. If someone is manipulating people: Let other people know what you think, and then stop OVERANALYZING. OVERANALYSIS MAKES ME CRAZY. Sheep might actually be a villager! We just don't know! Ok. Enough rant. Your misunderstanding. Perhaps intentionally; I don't know. But what Sheep is saying is, that if you are an Elim, setting up a precedent for vote-flops will be really helpful later on, and seems very Elim-y. I'm not saying that you are an Elim: I'm just telling you how it looks. However, I do agree about the vote thing. I think that you are right about setting up a meta like that, and I agree it would be bad. I hope that does not happen. I try to vote often, but I also try to back it up. No, you've got enough room! More Sig Power FTW. TL;DR: Overanalysis is happening. Stink is being somewhat too harsh for my liking. Vote-Swapping rapidly/somewhat randomly sets up a precedent helpful for Elims. I don't know what's going on. A few people have provided decent reasons for lynching Stink. I say yes. My TL;DRs are almost as long as my actual content. Stink, defend yourself. edit; Actually, if you have to go to bed, you can respond to this in the morning. I have no reason to do this right now.
  10. LOL. This amuses me way more than it should for some reason. I almost died laughing. Sorry. -wipes away tears- Ahem. Anyway. Stink, I feel like you've done nothing helpful, and honestly, if you are a villager, you've brought this on yourself. I think you made a few key mistakes, and I'll be sorry if you are a villager. I don't know if their really are villagers this game. I'm going to refer to non-odiumers as Villagers, for clarity's sake. And that's really all I have to say for now.
  11. 5 World PM's, probably some that people who can make PM's have made, and at least one doc. Probably at least two, maybe three, by my way of thinking, the Odium Doc, a neutral aligned Doc, and probably a random faction doc. That qualifies as a lot to me. But I have not been in a lot of games. However, I don't really feel like that will detract from the main thread, as I think most normal PM's cost investiture, and people will want that for the World Investitures, so I think that the thread will be pretty active. I hope it is, anyway. I dislike really quiet threads.
  12. Phishing, Fishing, theirs just too many words that sound similar here. And by that I mean theres more than one. I don't know what Mark's done in the World PM, but he's done like nothing in the thread until now. Anyway, this just seems like D1 poking to me. Unless he actual wants to find people who are willing to trade goals. You guys keep ninja'ing me. Too much.
  13. ... (Facepalm) When jokes fly right over your head. -sigh-
  14. Wow. Spoiler alert. Seriously, was it a good idea to post this on D1?
  15. I hope not. Please no. I hated LG24. There were just way too many Elims. Please, not again. Although I would not be surprised if their is at least one 'elim' type character from each world. It would actually make sense. -sigh- What even is this idea. I don't even know. This makes no sense.
  16. Out of curiosity, what happened to Dilaf? I know he's been nominated a few times. Also, Kelsier x5.
  17. Hey guys. I'm going to be completely honest; I have no idea what's going on. I don't personally think that Aman's idea is perfect; it definitely has flaws. It could work, theoretically, but it feels to much like a situation where you could nuke select groups of people really easily. That's about all I have to say at this time of day. I'll get back to you when I fully wake up.
  18. Right now I'm on knife of dreams. The last two or so books seemed a bit like filler, with a little action to make things happen, and I'm hoping this one picks things up a bit. This is the first of the last three, I believe?
  19. And then there were 33. @Nyali, were you ready for this? Ope. That was fast. You edited him in, ninja'ing me in the process. Well I'll be confuddled. You tapping steel or something? That still makes 33. A new role is needed for Stink.
  20. Oh Yeah. Dune is tough. I read the first couple of books in the series, then got slowly Bogged Down..... Yeah, it's tough. But now I'm on WoT, and my brain is functioning normally once more. It depends on how you read, I think.
  21. This might be an odd question, but what is that bulletproof meme? I can't seem to find it.
  22. Good point. That's very intersting. I kind of want Dilaf to be in this as well. Dilaf x3 And Marsh x2.
  23. It's somewhat amusing that you put everything else, and forgot to tell us how to vote.
  24. I'd say the AI picked people who would not be noticed missing. Or that it wiped the family member's minds. But I don't know what Voidus will say. Are the players getting beamed in Tron-Style, or are they stuck in real life while experiencing virtual reality. Also, how balanced are the skills?
  25. Hmmm. I guess that's what they do for SE, as well. I was opperating under the assumption that bleeder had done it. Huh. Well, I guess I had better hide those other posts.
