Would putting a spear or other object through a speed bubble pop it? Also I'm guessing there are two possible reasons Branderson made Wayne not be able to handle a gun. The first is that he totally thought of this and decided that would be too powerful for a main character, so wanted to limit him, or he's providing a place for Wayne to grow as a character, ie he can overcome his guilt spawned handicap and pick up a gun with confidence just in time to save some people's lives in an epic way or something.

When we first see Taln, at the gate to Kholinar, isn't he dripping with condensation? That would imply that he just came back from wherever the harolds go between desolations, or the cognitive realm or whatever. He's a stoneward, so on his own he does not have the ability to elsecall.

I don't necessarily accept that Ym is an edgedancer, he could just as easily have been a Truthwatcher. His spren says "He comes" which could be a sensitivity he has to radiant powers, or could be his truthwatcheriness giving him some precognition. Plus his spren wasn't a bunch of vines like Lifts. Coppermind possits that Ym was a Truthwatcher, though admittedly without much evidence.

In SA the face in the clouds is the Storm Father, maybe its similar? Some aspect of the investiture has gained sentience; it has gained...autonomy!?!?!

I think honor would fit ruin/preservation well if the shardholder did not already have an honorable personality, but Sazed does, so it would be redundant. Harmony is still a young shardbearer, and still seems to retain a lot of his Sazed personality.

White Sand the novel is already written, has been for a long time, so we aren't necessarily waiting on Branderson for these releases. I mean he obviously plays a part in their creation but Rik Hoskin is the actual comic writer, plus the artists that do their work.

I've gathered (and I'm sure lots of other people have too) that Brandon's short stories often come from exploratory writing he's doing to gain experience with a new idea or genre. Secret history, while giving us info about what was happening on Scadrial, could have also been him fleshing out some cognitive realm mechanics. Having had that thought before, I am so glad you made this connection Feather, and for sharing here Windy, a cognitive Tranqueline Halls conflict makes a lot of sense and I'm pumped to see how it plays out in SA. 67%!!
