Do you really expect me to vote on myself? From my perspective, a tied lynch is much better than self-lynch. Why didn't you quote the rest of my post? I wanted to raise suspicion on you in case you were a skaa, and I didn't necessarily want you lynched, but I thought my post would have more weight with a vote in it. You can go back and read my post if you want. It's quite a bit shorter than the writeups, I promise. Mine was the fourth vote, it was counted in the writeup- 548 replies

Long Game 40: Ashen Rebellion
asterion137 replied to Droughtbringer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Megasif gave several votes in earlier cycles without any explanation whatsoever, and several were random by his own admission. The lynch is the most important tool at the village's disposal so random votes just don't seem right to me. He also sits solidly in the "twilight zone" of players who aren't super active and so fly under the radar but are still active enough to send in the kill. His posts also seem very conservative and safe, like he's intentionally trying to dodge suspicion as much as possible. My vote on Darkness was also basically just a poke to prevent him from being soft-cleared so easily and to gauge his reaction. Oddly, I think his counter-vote on me seems to imply that he's village, because I think an elim would play more defensively to try and avoid suspicion. I don't want to carelessly lynch teammates, but if we catch our house Elim, that would be great for us. I don't think Darkness is it though. Not anymore. But you switched off someone who made random vote changes where the only colors in his post were green and red. I should hope not- 548 replies

I think we should try to decide this lynch at least by a margin of 2 votes, to try and prevent the Skaa from tying it with emotional allomancy, so Darkness Megasif- 548 replies

Darkness. Missing the fairly obvious cues in the writeup about the nature of the kills once would be excusable, missing them twice feels really suspicious to me. Especially since people mentioned the write-up clues after he missed them the first time.- 548 replies

I second the Roadwalker lynch. Mostly because of Rae's long analysis post earlier, I believe lynching Road would help identify Alvron and Phatt.- 548 replies

@TheMightyLopen I wanted to survive more than I wanted to kill Road. Besides, I wasn't in any way sure of Road being an elim, so the 1/3 chance of killing him wasn't worth the 1/3 suicide chance. I just thought he was more suspicious than Drake.- 548 replies

OK out of the present vote candidates I think Roadwalker, and not Asterion, is the most suspicious. I still think Budgie needs another look, but I also don't want to die D1 and Roadwalker seems really erratic so far.- 548 replies

Long Game 40: Ashen Rebellion
asterion137 replied to Droughtbringer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Warren Hasting stopped at a skaa fruit stand near the canal docks and sneered at the prices displayed there. 11 clips? It seemed word of Tekiel's skaa problem had already reached the Western farming houses and they were probably refusing to sell to Tekiel. No one wanted to incur the Lord Ruler's wrath, even if he lived thousands of miles away. And lax security would often earn enough of the Lord Ruler's ire to be unprofitable. Warren quickened his stride. Hasting was one of the strongest houses in the city. In this case, however, it seemed that his informats had been slower than usual, and he would likely find competition when he reached the docks. He could likely woo the Western representatives away from smaller houses if he arrived before a deal had been reached, with his promise of a prominent name to ally themselves with. Warren was also curious about what other houses wanted canal contracts. Aggressive bidding would likely indicate ambitious houses, and the other Hastings would likely be grateful for any information of that nature. A conflict was brewing in Luthadel, and any smaller houses that could be swayed to join Hasting would prove valuable in the days to come.- 548 replies

wut lol like what we're supposed to do to win? why are you voting on me for not providing standout analysis on D1? I feel like Budgie wanted to throw down a vote that wasn't too edgy (Lopen's FoS enabled that) but also didn't look like a bandwagon, which looks pretty elim-y from where I'm standing. Willing to retract if vote is further explained though. I'm not sure why you're voting me. You said you had a village gut lean, then you didn't, then you said it didn't seem like an elim slip-up, but no reasoning for vote.- 548 replies

Long Game 40: Ashen Rebellion
asterion137 replied to Droughtbringer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Warren Hasting scowled at the dozen or so Tekiel hazekillers patrolling the streets. Such a display lacked both the subtlety befitting a noble house and the actual clout necessary to intimidate high noblemen. The Tekiels are weak. Skaa interbreeding has weakened their line. As such, Warren had not been surprised when a skaa had been exposed among them, disguised as a lower member of House Tekiel, but still high enough to collect dangerously confidential information. The other Houses were growing far too lax in their rule over the Luthadel skaa, which could lead to valuable contract opportunities among their trading partners. As the third cousin to the head of House Hasting, Warren was high enough in the chain of command to authorize trade contracts, but not quite high enough to be well-known among the nobility. As a result, he spent far more time on the streets than most nobles, and knew firsthand that most of the canal business formerly owned by Tekiel would be seeking new trading partners after the scandal. He headed for the docks, hoping that his informants had been quicker than those of the other houses. A lucrative canal deal would be extremely valuable for the possible conflict ahead. I know for a fact Cloudjumper has had plenty of time to post on this thread in the past day. No real advice about the game so far, except that we shouldn't get too caught up in House politics and ignore the Rebellion (We all know how that turns out, right?).- 548 replies
