  1. What information did we even get on the Jeskeri Mysteries? I wrote it off as a standard cult reading through the first time, but thinking back on it it's possible that it could be similar to the Derethi priests being sacrificed to gain powers, especially since the ending kind of implies that most cultures/religions have some way to control the AonDor.
  2. I imagine the part about him acting differently might be because of the sacrifices and stuff he was doing (the Jesker Mysteries I think? It's been a while)
  3. Isn't that just most people?
  4. When you hear someone to tell you spike a ball in volleyball and you get really confused about what investiture you could possibly steal from a ball (and then miss) When you try to read/watch Star Wars media and end up thinking of all the force usage as different types of allomancy. Moving stuff around is Iron and Steel, mind tricks are Brass, sensing the presence of other force users is brass, it all makes too much sense. Yoda and Obi-Wan must have been Copper savants.
  5. Store identity at a party so no one can remember that you were the one doing all the stupid things you inevitably do. I assume that's how it would work?
  6. Are you thinking of Bavadin and Autonomy? I don't think we've heard anything about someone named Trell or what the intent of his shard is outside of the speculation inside the Mistborn books. Some people are pretty convinced that Trell is Autonomy though, maybe that's what you're thinking of.
  7. Personally I'm kind of against it being Odium from a meta point of view- It would be a pretty big letdown to not find out what the force is in the Lost Metal book, and if it was Odium that would spoil that he gets out of Braize, which would likely be a major point in a upcoming Stormlight book. Then again maybe I'm over thinking it and we won't even get to know what the force is until the next trilogy, if ever. Actually, didn't he say that he had to wait for Stormlight 5 to be done before the next Mistborn trilogy? *puts on aluminum foil hat*
  8. Seems to me like it would make sense if the shard that wants to hide and the shard that doesn't inhabit a planet would be the same. Also where was it that he talked about the latter? I don't remember ever seeing it but that's probably because I haven't been around here very long.
  9. Sanderson once Soulcast a stick into his new Stormlight novel. The deleted interlude he gave on the website was actually cut short, as the stick realizes shortly after that he would much rather be WoR. It is commonly speculated that Sanderson has used spikes to steal writing speed from other authors. This is false- he actually spiked himself so the publishing team could keep up, and is currently trying to decide who is worthy of recieving his gifts. Sanderson once created Assassin's Creed before the game was out, but they were so effective he had to move them into a harsh, empty land to keep them from killing everyone in a week. He called it White Sands.
