Desolation?
Sure, but that doesn't make him Lawful Neutral, as he was killing people with flimsy evidence that it would meet his personal goal- and whoops, turns it that it was correlation not causation that the radiants start appearing in greater numbers before desolations. Doing bad things for good reasons doesn't make you neutral, it makes you evil but with good intentions.
He does neutral things for arbitrary law reasons.

I'm sorry, but Nalan as Lawful Neutral? lol no.
Remember, he's killing people because they're Radiants, the breaking the law is just the excuse within the framework he operates, as he refuses to kill unlawfully. I would definitely peg him as Lawful Evil.
Arguably Szeth is Lawful Neutral, at least for people who find him sympathetic. (I personally think that SA fans give him too much credit, and judge him about as harshly as Kaladin did)
He's trying to stop the desecration but now it's happened so we'll see what happens

There are some little error in the questions and answers, some just misspelled other a little poorly worded.
when I found some of this, Have I to report here or on the ELO ?
Easiest way is to click "report question" after answering. It'll let you type a brief description of the error

At http://www.EloEverything.com I have Written 337 Questions about Brandon Sanderson's writing. covering Mistborn, Stormlight Archive, and Warbreaker. I have just Finished Elantris so I'll be writing questions on that as well. So the topic for "The Cosmere" is looking pretty great (although anyone can add more questions if they want) but I haven't read any of the Reckoners, Rithmatist, or the Alcatraz books. So if anyone would like to write questions it is super easy.
After logging in just click on "Add Question" and the form is there. You write a question, 1 right answer and 3 wrong answers, and then put in what Categories you want the question to be in. The cool thing about EloEverything is that unlike other trivia games where questions are limited to one topic you can have a question be in as many topics as you want! after putting in all the catagories hit "Add Question" and the text will clear but the catagories will stay (so you don't have to retype them every time)
So why do this? Well! because making the funnest Brandon Sanderson trivia is a dream of mine. And it is a lot of fun. One fun thing about the site is you can see the distribution curve on the rankings page that shows the distribution of both the questions and the players
So if you want to add questions and help make the ultimate Sanderson Quiz feel free or if you just want to test your knowledge log in and check it out!
PS When writing questions minor spoilers are inevitable but try and focus on interesting plot details rather than big reveals.

I still like it, and it's fun, like I said
I also noticed some misspellings and grammar and stuff, and flagged the questions. Seems like a pretty mammoth undertaking, so hope it helps.
yeah I've added all 1,900 questions so when I'm grunting through a million I made a lot of spellign errors and stuff. I'll watch for the flagged questions

Pretty fun. There's an insane number of questions regarding which generation a kandra is part of. I get them all wrong. Every one of them. I had ten in a row, lost 100 points. I see more questions of that type than any aside from classification of the metals.
Any way to tone it down a bit? Am I the only one who godawful at getting which generation the kandra is from correct?
That's a product of the way the programming retrieves questions it goes down the lIst as they were added as long as they're within your Elo. Because the system is new all the elos haven't reached equilibrium. But I'm working on improving the variety

Your image is broken. Is it hand-drawn?
A copper mind admin deleted the picture, likely is an agent of ruin and trying to suppress the knowledge from getting out.

Ah, in that case I don't think we actually know where steellines point. Could be the center of mass, could be the part of the surface which is closest to you. Given that the surface deforms when pushed on I'm inclined to say it has more to do with surface than it does mass.
Ergo the question

Dalinar doesn't have an honorspren though. He just has Stormfather, who may not care for all we know. As a bondsmith he may eventually place keeping Alethkar together over causing an entire scandal to keep a promise or uphold justice. This is not the time for the Kholin house to be the subject of doubt.
good point

Ayn Rand wrote in English despite being born in Russia and I think she's a great writer (don't throw rocks at me) so I think that using your native language to inform your writing might be an asset not a liability. I wish you all the best.

I think the more likely event is that Adoline will be found out and Dalinar will have to risk his Honor spren because I'm sure he'll say something like "we will bring the killer to justice" or something like that. I think Adoline is in more trouble than Kaladin

Because she knew what to look for and had the resources of an entire city. And was one of the most instinctive Mistborn to ever live.
How? Where would you get a thousand Mistborn from?
If only TLR had beads to make mistborn

This is a cool idea. I've spent a bunch of time already answering questions. If we find errors, how can we notify the creator? I noticed one question referred to the Smoker in Kelsier's Crew as Cobble, instead of Clubs, for example. Just don't want peoples scores affected by accidents.
after you answer any question there's a "report question" button that triggers the admins. I'll fix that question you mentioned here thanks for bringing it up.

. . . nobody is saying it won't work anymore you know.
It's just the "easy" part. And speaking of, reproducing Tai-na sounds very impractical for warfare over the much smaller chasmfiends.
I'm just yankin your chain at this point. did you check out my Cosmere quiz at www.eloeverything.com ? I promise you non of my crazy ideas are voiced as facts I only parsed out the most definitive truths from the coppermind.

There's swimming, and there's swimming upstream.
It's like we're still ignoring all these potential complications that are only solved by maybes.
You're going to feel pretty silly when you're reading SA10 and Kandra fiends are commonly used against void bringers.

. . . again with the "easily".
And why are we going back to that?
Because it's what Kandra do. just like it's easy for fish to swim

He said "most of us", so he definitely did read the whole thread.
He only quoted you when you restated a point that has already been established. Twice.
So let's just agree a Kandra could easily become a ta-nai

Vin discovered duralumin without the well. And you just force people to burn stuff and after a few thousand dead experimenters you get it.

Most of us aren't questioning that. The question is whether they could use the carapace like they use the bones, and have it on the outside but still attached/controlled. I see no reason they couldn't, since that's not really much different than hair or nails, which we know they can use.

I haven't read Elantris or the Emperor's Soul. So if anyone who has read those wants to add questions you're more then welcome to. I diversity of writers leads to more well rounded coverage of topics.

I've written over 300 questions that will grill any Sanderson fan on the world of the Cosmere at http://Www.EloEverything.com !!!!!! If you have feedback please feel free to let me know and good luck getting the highest Elo
Q: So what? Quizzes already exist on Quizup and Triviacrack Kingdoms.
A: EloEverything is different for several reasons:
1- it uses a zero sum elo system to rate players AND questions meaning harder Questions get paired against higher ranked players
2- questions are in multiple categories so you get rated faster and more accurately.
3- players play the game by themselves and are ranked against others instead of arbitrary 1 v 1 matches.
Q: what about spoilers?
A: I've written the questions to quiz more on story details and not on plot points. You won't be asked about big reveals. However some spoilers are inevitable (that there are 16 metals, etc )
Q: what's the advantage of Elo?
A: unlike linear scoring games like quizup where the highest rank goes to whose played the most Elo means you get the highest rank by defeating the hardest questions. It's more about talent not time.
Q: are you adding more questions?
A: yes! And anyone can add qUestions as well on the site.
Q: won't that cause duplicate questions?
A: possibly but because questions over time will group by Elo similar questions will cluster in the same Elo area so it won't bother players above out below them. I wouldn't write questions like "What does burning tin do?" But there Is a lot that can be asked still.
Q: Is it free?
A: absolutely. This is a labor of love and totally free now and always.
Q: what's Elo?
A: Elo is a ranking system invented by a German mathematician to more accurately predict chess player performance,
It's a zero sum system where each player starts at 1,200 and losses and gains elo against other players. We took the exact same concept but have elo to questions as well as players.
Q: when I answer a question I get different amounts of Elo in different categories. Why?
A: it's all about what Elo you're at vs the question. If a question is 1600 in a category you're only 1100 in getting that question wrong won't lose you much since the difference is so great. But getting it correct will grant you a lot of Elo!
