  1. also moving the planet wasn't simply a matter of strength you'd need to have enough control and knowledge of physics to alter the orbital velocity of the planet so that you were in a stable orbit again

the lord ruler was a pack man not a scholar

I think this knowledge would have had to have been granted by the shard

the orbit only lasted 1,000 ish years which isn't very long. For all we know in 5,000 years the planet could have spiraled into the sun. the simplest argument for the Lord Ruler knowing all 16 is that the Bands of Morning contian all 16. He lived 1,000 years maybe he got it from the well or maybe he killed 1,000 mistborns burning various things.

  2. If TLR learned all 16 he didn't get it from the well of ascension. Vin's ascension came with no Allomantic knowledge and she was heavily invested in the study of allomancy.

Anyone with enough allomantic steel can push or pull the planet.

  3. "The dark mound—perhaps ten feet tall and twice as long—lurched forward in a strange, shuffling gait, and Vin leaned forward, trying to get a better look." - Mistborn: The Final Empire

Without any blessings or intelligence an average mistwraith reached 10 feet in height eating nothing but what the barren final empire has to offer. Now imagine you have an intelligent Kandra being fed some soulcast food and you think it'd be impossible for him to do 5 times better?

When Tensoon becomes a dog he is amazed by the increased senses he gets from the bones. the DNA in a Chasm fiend might even give the Kandra the ability to use a gemheart the same way Tensoon can smell better as a dog.

It's easy for the Kandra. Easy Breezy.

  4. Yeah, let's find a mostly submerged isla-yeah, no. If you can see its limbs shift as it moves, most of it is going to be up top in the non-submerged region.

The things are islands, this is beyond the range of whales.

The reshi sea is really clear (and only 60 feet deep so why wouldn't it be I guess) so seeing the legs isn't because they're sticking out of the water. a Kandra could easily become a Ta-nai

  5. Vin is the epitome of Preservation. Kelsier is much more chaotic. Kelsier will save the world or even the universe, if only because he wants it to happen. If he wants something to happen, there is literally nothing he won't do, from killing noblemen to effectively committing suicide by immortal tyrant.

On second thought, would Kaladin be better for Lawful Good, what with the Ideals and protection?

I wouldn't argue kaladin as being more lawful than dalinar though

  6. My biggest concern with this would be the fact that greatshells seem to make use of spren bonds in order to sustain sizes that should be physically impossible. I am uncertain that a kandra can bond to a spren in the same way or that it could make mimic a functioning chasmfiend without that bond.

I don't think this would be a problem. Kandra don't breath even though they animate bodies that require breath to sustain them. so whatever function a gemheart performs I think a kandra could do without.

  7. Well...the endoskeleton is the one part of an organism that a kandra DOESN'T eat...or reporduce...but I know what you're going for.

Thus far...I don't think we've been given anything specific to suggest that a kandra couldn't eat and reproduce a chasmfiend's guts, then crawl inside like some kind of weird hermit crab.

The only thing that gives me pause...is in BoM, we learn that if a kandra trys to take a form that is too SMALL, it has some issues with having enough mass to still be intelligent.

so not only would it be super huge and strong but huge so it'd be super strong. even cooler!!!!

  8. Personally, I would not call TLR Lawful Evil, he was trying his best to save the world from Ruin. He simply used less than questionable means to do it. Even Elend admitted that TLR's methods, while cruel were necessary to his task. I'd put him Lawful Neutral, he means the best but slips into evil. And he creates and obeys laws. That's where I'd put him on a spectrum

Maybe "Rashek" could be Lawful Neutral but TLR (who he became 1,000 years later) pretty evil.

  9. I'm actually in the process of making an alignment chart based on Cosmere characters right now.

    Lawful Evil: TLR

    Lawful Neutral: Szeth

    Lawful Good: Vin

    Neutral Good: Harmony

    True Neutral: Stick

Neutral Evil: Ruin? If so, I could only find the atium symbol.

    Chaotic Good: Kelsier/Kaladin (can't decide)

    Chaotic Neutral: Nightblood

    Chaotic Evil: Zane/Odium

Also, does anyone know where I can find a good D&D Alignment Chart maker?

I really like Szeth Lawful neutral that was a good one. rofl Neutral Neutral stick
