I understand what you're saying, King, completely. I'm not suggesting an unending comic in novel form type of continuance. I just would like to see some of these loose ends to have closure. Even a short, like Mitosis, would be enough for me.

Yes, I loved Calamity. Yes, there are still questions that I have. Yes, I feel like there are loose threads that are in want of closure. And yet, Brandon is such a careful writer with great intricacies in his universes... Those things, to my mind, add up to intentionality for at least some of the more glaring holes.

At the Chicago signing this week, Brandon was asked this question in the general Q & A. David's mom was of Hispanic/ Latino descent. His dad's Caucasian.

I agree. (Hello! Obliteration!) I've heard rumors, but all unsubstantiated. Just enough to give me hope. So, not really an answer, but maybe someone has heard better, more substantiated, rumors to add more hope.
