  1. I just lost my whole analysis post. Hating the Shard editor ATM . Here's my attempt at a summary: Village: Matrim and Illwei for pushing Elkanah and being villagery. Mild Village: CadCom and Ashbringer for pushing Elkanah. CadCom has been more villagery than Ash, but I think his focus on Elkanah was odd. Null: @Frozen Mint and @Kings_way for inactivity. turtle due to lack of AI posts. Mild Elim: Windrunner for tons of tunneling on Matrim and not reconsidering before today, also for odd behavior in general. Elim: Gears because he gives bad vibes in general and because of their weird focus on me and Matrim. Not seeing reasoning for turtle push. Please explain if you have the time. Will vote on Gears for now.
  2. I usually just skip write-ups. I’d consider it odd for a Writeup to have game-related information that wasn’t already revealed. I’ll try to put up some analysis later.
  3. TBH I completely forgot that that was a possibility. It does now look like a Nightmaw attack on a Hidden person.
  4. Gears said he'd be RPing everything in his signup post, so it's NAI. Why would one of us be an elim?
  5. Let’s go! Will try to find time to analyze tomorrow, it’s past midnight right now. Also, I would strongly suggest that the Healer claim if we go for them or the person they saved. TBH they might just want to claim outright. I didn’t have any PMs from Elk.
  6. So currently really confused about Windrunner right now. I’m not sure if they’re messing around, tunneling on Matrim insanely hard, an elim, or a Spy with a check on Matrim. In the last case, they should probably claim.
  7. Okay, I'm willing to go with that. TBH I forgot it was quite this close. Elkanah.
  8. Okay, I think I'll drop a vote on The Windrunner Supreme. They seem to be weirdly stuck in a tunnel.
  9. @The Windrunner Supreme Those are decent points but, what would Matrim have to gain from switching his vote to Jester? We know that Jester was village, so it seems like elim!Matrim would have only switched if I was an elim, correct? From my perspective, why should I switch my vote to Matrim when it seems like he'd have no reason to switch off of me if he was an elim?
  10. Why do you think he's an elim?
  11. Still not really seeing why there's a vote train on Matrim. I'm currently thinking about voting for Ash or Windrunner. I'd go for Elkanah over Matrim, but I'm not that convinced of the case on them.
  12. Sorry about not being active this turn, I've been a bit busy. Matrim and Illwei are both very villagery in my eyes. Not sure what the votes on Matrim are about.
  13. I’m not sure what I can do to save myself here, but I’d encourage people to take a serious look at the vote train on me. Jester’s reason in particular seems incredibly contrived. I’m not sure what benefit I’d gain from “pocketing” a complete inactive and then killing them.
  14. We should definitely figure out who to vote out today soon. My reads have mainly stayed the same since the last time I posted. CadCom is probably up a bit, but I dislike his focus on the Reading voters. Jes is up a bit and Windrunner is down a bit, so I might switch to Windrunner.
  15. I don’t recall going after inactives in LG68. Looking back at the doc, when making kill lists I’d usually take the inactives off the list since they were of low value to the village. If you’re talking about the Silber N1 kill in that game, that was because we thought he might be an alignment scanner.
  16. I went over your posts before you actually made that post.
  17. So, looks like we're down three villagers. One was a spy and another was entirely inactive. Let's start out with my reads: Illwei: Prompted people to be active and seemed to have good interactions with people. Mild village. Elkanah: Gave some analysis and suspicions. Very mild village. Matrim's Dice: Lots of vote changing. Felt village to me initially, but I'm less sure about that when I look back. Very mild village. CadCom: Kind of inactive. Said they would be holding off analysis until today. Nothing else. Null. Frozen Mint: Inactive. Has said that they'll post today. Null. Kings_way: Entirely inactive. Null. turtle: No alignment indicative posts. Null. Vapor: Inactive. Said they'd have something today. Null. Ashbringer: Advocated for Silber vote, narrowed down options a lot based on meta. Very mild elim. Gears: Mainly mechanics discussion. Looked at posts but considered everyone null. Very mild elim. The Windrunner Supreme: Thought one elim in Matrim/Reading. Voted Reading off of gut. Very mild elim. JesterLavorre: Followed "consensus" on Silber without other reason. Also followed onto Reading, despite having a gut feeling that they were village. Mild elim. I think that the best thing we can do right now is try to sort out that group of null reads in the middle. @CadCom / @eltruT / @Kings_way what are your thoughts on the game? I'll put my vote on JesterLavorre for now.
  18. I can kind of see your point of the Reading thing, but I wanted to start some discussion. Also, taking a look at Ash does not mean I’m going to vote for him. My willingness to switch off Reading is primarily because other people are unwilling to vote for him. There is relatively little point to me pursuing a vote that will not happen. I do still consider Reading my primary elim read though.
  19. Yeah, we learn their alignment when they die. It’s usually best to consider how suspicious they’re acting instead of how active they are. Voting out the most active players tends to both discourage activity and get rid of a lot of active villagers, which isn’t ideal.
  20. I disagree that we have no clue who the elims are on D1. We can certainly attempt to find elims, and should do so. There is no reason not to try our best, and giving up on finding elims D1 ends up being self-defeating. Having legitimate discussion on D1 also gives us more information to look back and analyze in the future. I believe I explained by reasoning for voting Reading earlier? I am willing to switch off of Shard of Reading, and I’m currently taking a look at Ashbringer.
  21. In my opinion, info is better than increased discussion here. I also think that going after people to promote discussion rather than going after them because you think they’re an elim severely degraded the quality of discussion, which kind of ruins the whole point. We should always be focused on voting out elims.
  22. What do we gain from voting out Silber? I don’t think it encourages activity all that much at the moment. Better to give him a bit more time to start talking. The Shard says he hasn’t been on since Tuesday, so he might even be replaced instead. Also, since when did we agree not to go after Gears or Reading?
  23. Wait why are people going after Silber? I'd really rather not go full contribution crusade on day one.
  24. I don't think Reading has been gone that long. I'm already opposed to killing the new players on D1, and that severely cuts down the list. I'd rather not remove more people. My primary reason for voting Reading was gut and because I wanted to start some actual voting. I don't think he's done much to inspire confidence since then. While I appreciate him giving reads, him reading me as an elim seems very retaliatory. He also had several "when I flip village" things in his most recent post, which I found suspicious. I'm going to keep my vote on him for now, as I haven't seen any better target.
