Welcome to the forums! Hope you have fun here! (Sorry for the delayed response, the email notification for your post went into my spam folder for some reason ) Mine too. I'll feel much more justified in my choice once Dragonsteel comes out

Welcome to the forums! I really like cosmere and relmatic analysis as well, and we can always use another expert Sanderfan I hope you have fun here on the forums! This is a really cool, fun community, mainly because it's so diverse. I mean, you've been reading Sanderson's books longer than I've been reading chapter books, but here we can bounce ideas off of each other in a way that would be impossible otherwise. It's an amazing atmosphere, and I'm always happy each time a new person becomes part of it. ETA: Noooo, don't take the cookie! It's spiked! By that I mean Hemarulgically. It fractures your soul and grants you a useless power. Don't sell your soul to Ruin!

I think I'm going to vote on Elbereth as well, assuming Sart can provide a link to the post he(?) made. Don't want any fabricated evidence Oh, and why did Con's pose warrant a downvote? I personally don't see anything that bad about it. I mean, I suppose it could be that he was soliciting information from an eliminator regarding their teammates, but I took that more as a joke than an actual request for information
-
In case none of you realized, my vote was changed last cycle. I'm guessing Cett has some kind of vote manipulation
-
I'm actually going to go Bugsy, since I'm confirmed good at this point and don't want to risk the mayorship going to the DFs. I mean, Meta is probably the lowest on my suspicion list, but a lot can change and 2 votes, with this few active players left, can have huge consequences.

I was going to vote for Nyali, but Bard's argument is pretty good. I'm going to vote Alv for now for reasons previously mentioned (plus I want Boxings, and I'm too busy to analyze for myself right now )

Winter

Keep in mind that there were no DF kills tonight. I actually am starting to think it was winter, and she just hasn't gotten on the forums enough. Of course, it could be that one of the Dreamwalkers is DF and wants to stay alive as long as possible. I'm also sort of doubting that the DFs had 2 Aiel blooded, but I suppose it's possible
-
Rubiks is dead. He was a corrupted DF. We've killed all of the corrupt, and are assuming 1 DF is left. Since there was no kill last cycle, we think the DF is inactive (Winter)
-
Oh, and @Straw, why exactly am I one of the leading suspects for spiked? Just my inactivity or what?

IRL RN, I'm at a family reunion and can't really check on as often as I'd like. I'm also doing cross country summer conditioning and volunteering as a counselor at a day camp for 3rd-7th graders where I'm not allowed on my phone. Basically, I've been in a pretty hectic spot and I've been posting mainly for boxings. Hopefully that helps explain my lurkish behavior

Hey! Welcome to the forums! I hope you enjoy your time here, I may be biased but I don't think you could have started with a web community I can't wait to hear the fan music, it sounds really cool! I personally have no musical talent, but I love listening to what other people make Oh, and as you read Brandon's books, be on the lookout for someone named Hoid. He's everywhere (In Stormlight Archive, he was Wit)

My family recently got a Mafia style game called "1 night: Ultimate Werewolf". As the title suggests, it's a 1 cycle game. It starts at night, and then a day turn starts where people try to figure out the identity of the werewolves and lynch them. The village wins if a werewolf dies. The werewolf wins if a player who is not a werewolf dies and no werewolves die. It's a really fun game, and has a bunch of roles that make it more interesting (plus it's quick, each game lasts about 10 minutes). Anyways, it seems like some of these one cycle games could be played here, maybe as part of the BT games or maybe as games that run in that period between the end of a QF/MR and the start of the next. It works best with 10 players or so, and could be done in 48 hours easily and is for the most part super easy to GM. What do you all think?
-
Aman, I'm not entirely convinced that you're spiked. In fact, I read you as somewhat village. Still, I think letting a false scan become a way to avoid your own death is ludicrous and sets a terrible precedent. That sort of behavior is detrimental to the village, and if it is rewarded, it will spread and become rampant. If you truly are a scanner, which is by no means sure at this point, your scans are suspect anyways and even the alignment reveal accompanying your inevitable death can't confirm or deny your scans, as it's already proven you're willing to lie and manipulate scan data for your own sake and the sake of your faction. Basically, you won't help the village alive, and you'll send a much better message dead.

First of all, welcome to the forums! As for your question, I'm assuming you're referring to Words of Radiance. I'm not entirely clear on what exactly you're asking. Some clarification would help us to better answer your question

Jamie is just about guaranteed to be evil, at this point. She kept Rubiks from getting killed earlier by redirecting Maill's protection but didn't admit to it, so unless she screwed us all over by protecting him when she knew he was my target even though she was good, it's practically confirmed
-
What code stuff in particular, Stink? I wasn't skirting the rules by communicating with anyone outside my faction, I just couldn't edit the doc. The situation is done now, if that makes you feel any better; I just managed to install the docs app on mobile, so I can edit as needed now
-
Thanks for the suggestion! I recently went to an Internet cafe so I could just get the app installed, so the situation is pretty much resolved, though. Oh, and as for the quote you included, Elodin isn't in my faction, so it wouldn't work for that particular situation. Good idea, though!

I was fishing for info. Way to ruin my plan
-
Storms, I was hoping you didn't know enough about cryptography to know that. Gratz on calling my bluff Oh, and there's something I'd like to let you know, if I had a safe way to communicate it free of prying eyes. Unfortunately, I can't think of one off the top of my head. If your faction's tineye has a spare PM, contact me
-
Sure thing. Won't help much, though. Now it's possible to break, but I rather doubt that you have enough time to guess and check some couple billion keys
-
Back on mobile Anyways, same thing as last time, faction. FNYYLXHYQTJLUKUVSVKKKSFKVEFDJBJNNA

Something you may be forgetting, @jaimeleecee, is that now that Stink and Maill were confirmed, we know you redirected Maill to save Rubiks a couple cycles ago. So, you're pretty much confirmed corrupt, unless the DF somehow had a secret ta'veren somewhere
-
What Meta said. Rubiks. Oh, and you guys seem to be forgetting that I could be possibly corrupt. I'm not, but just a quick reminder that there might be some essential piece of information we're forgetting. Hopefully, Rubiks is a corrupted DF, and lynching him will prove Jamie didn't do what she was supposed to. If not, I'm back on the suspect list. Oh, and come to think of it, I don't believe you're cleared of the DF kill yourself, Lopen. Could be wrong, and you're low on my suspect list, but as long as it's possible it's good for the village to know
