Well ok everyone the thread really might be dying. From what I got-Winter is leaving for a long time and now Twi is gone and there has been a lot of inactivity. Soooo maybe we should do that RP. Also I simply like the idea of a RP set in this world EDIT: to prevent double post So here is some more info. Also the smaller islands together are called Vijehiin and the previously unnamed island is now called Horjeg. Animals: Almost all the animals of the Vijehiin have evolved a method of preserving Lumuoles unseen anywhere else on Diaemus. This method is referred to as Lum-saving. Lum-saving: Upon ingesting Lumuole, Vijehiin animals use them and infuse the magical energy into their fat. They have evolved these capabilities for multiple reasons. First of all is the fact that infusing fat with any kind of Lumuole increases the amount of heat and energy it provides when burned. Another reason is the fact that Lumuole in Vijehiin hot-spots are rare, small and powerfull. This attracts all manner of creatures to small areas full of mainly destructive energy. To avoid getting killed most creatures stay there briefly and devour as much Lumuoles as they can. With normal Lumuole carrying techniques they would decay quickly causing the creatures to return to the dangerous hot-spots more often. The fat however can preserve the energy far longer although it usually ends due to calorie burning more often than because of expiring. Lum-saving also has downsides however. Foremost the fat can is only consumed normally. This means it can't be used for active abilities such as fire breath or EMP. The fat however can have it's own passive abilities. To name a few is the Green-fat used by the dodo-like Gujun which makes them lighter enabling long distance flight. and the Orange-fat of the Mijuhn which hardens when hit. To use active abilities most creatures also have places to store Lumuoles in pure form. Animal list: Beakhells (Hurdus): These huge creatures have shells like those of turtles but with many spikes and a rougher surface. The animals cannot retreat into their shells like turtles can although they can pull back in their neck to extend it quickly at enemies. This helps them quickly attack and pull back to safety their head and the main weapon it houses- the beak. The beak is like that of a snapping turtle. (please tell me how to use spoiler tags i am new here) Unlike most turtles however these creatures have fur and paws like those of a polar bear. The Snapbeak stores Orange-fat that seals any wounds and strengthens the shell when burned. They also have Orange Lumuoles in their skin and shell which they can use to create armor out of stone deposits in their shell and make their shells weigh less for a short time. This is all for now but more is coming soon.

So here are some of the ideas for my region. Geography: The name of all the isles is "Ices". If anyone has other name ideas send them my way. The region of continent will be referred to as mainland until a better name is availible. The island closest to the mainland is called Jorlem. The name of the bigger island is Edunul. Races Vijen: This is the most common race in the Ices. Although they have villages and cities throughout the regions they are more prominent in the smaller isles (especially Jorlem) and the bottom of the mainland, while having only a single city on Edunul and few villages. They are humans- shorter but faster and as strong compared to others. Vijen are the main users of hir fat (the animal section coming up tomorrow) Ice spiders [name pending]: These guys populate Edunul and make ice structures. They are a species of Rachnyx that have adjusted to the cold land. While they do also live underground they often form ice-tents above ground. Ice tents are formed by creating a bubble of ice or finding a large dead animal and then weawing their webs around it. The webs consist largely of water that is magically added to them as they exit the Ice spiders body. After the tent is finished the web is frozen.

In that case I would also like the two islands to the right. I will also take the Cwc with a larger area of gray.

I said something about which space I want on the main thread but this seems the right place to say this. So after some consideration I want a small area of Cwc at 60s 90w with the very edge of ET. I also want the island between 75s-90w and 90s and the island directly above it.

I'll start tomorrow since it's evening now where i live.

I like this system Mckeedee but as Blackhoof said all the previos fights were not decided by the fighters. Soulcaster deciding fights based on his ideas makes more sense I think.

The people of Lebanon were turning out to be surprisingly nice travel companions. When Glacier joined them he was hoping for obedience and respect. He had gotten both but for surprising reasons. They obeyed because they trusted him to keep them safe. They respected him because so far he had kept them safe. Apparently the town had been ruled by an incredibly vicious Epic called Redbolt. He had killed off every Epic that appeared in or came to the town. One of the Epics had finally killed Redbolt during his Rending a month ago. The Epic had run off and the townspeople had fled before he could return. "Hey Glacier how far is Salem?" he heard a high-pitched voice yell from the left. The voice didn't match it's owner in the least. Almost as tall as Glacier and far wider Peter was the self-appointed leader of the Lebanon carvan and no-one cared to disagree. "If you really want to know I can fly up and check." Glacier said with a bored tone. "That won't be necessary ." Last time he had flown up Peter had gotten frosted hair squashed tight to his head. Glacier hadn't done that on purpose. Such petty acts were below him. As he considered flying, or rather jumping while blasting a steam-hose downwards anyway a scream came from behind him followed by the sound of sizzling flesh. An Epic was levitating next to Peter's dead, blackened body. Sparks were falling from his body and there were large orange and red butterfly wings on his back. The orange and red theme was also noticeable in his clothing. "I. Am. Sparkangel!" he shouted creating sparks in a body of a Lebanonen with each word burning 3 of them alive. As he got ready for another speech Glacier leaded into the air shooting steam at the ground to propel himself upwards. When he was 60ft off the ground he stopped and began falling. He formed one of his hands into a club 2 times as long and wide as Sparkangel and turned the other into a short-sword. The short-sword wasn't huge like most weapons he created. He had found that his weapons were harder to break the smaller they were. As he fell he swung the club towards Sparkgod. The Epic flew out of the way. As the club hit the ground it broke absorbing the fall. Glacier leaped sideways while an incredibly bright spark flashed where he had been. As he turned and ran towards Sparkangel he heard him yell" So you stole my people? I! Will! Make! You! Pay!" he said while flashing sparks right behind and ahead of Glacier not quite hitting him. Finally he reached, leaped at and stabbed Sparkangel with the short-sword. The tip of the blade melted but because of Glaciers superstrength and momentum the blunt sword split flesh and sprayed blood anyway. As the Epic bled out he smiled and Glacier felt a painful burning in his chest. The force fields luckily extended into his body and even with their weakness to fire they held the short, but powerful blast, stopping it from completely destroying his insides. He snapped to Steam, some of the minor burns healing instantly. As he dosed off he shouted two words, "Leave me!". After all- wounded wasn't the correct way for an Epic to arrive to the modern city of Rome.

Ah forgot about that. And since we cannot use motivators until we understand them better that is also not a possibility

Do we have a gifter Epic in Salem? Because if we do then he could gift Morpheus his powers and Morpheus could use very weak manifestations of this power outside of Arena to convince people he has these powers and use dreampower to create very powerful manifestations of this power inside Arena to win.

Hey did we find out if the last guy who posted on Epics of Oregon is joining or not?

The fights including other people's charachters are colabs. I think they are written with PMs or Google Docs. Contact whoever you will be colabing with PM. (I am sorry if I got it wrong don't kill me) Arena fights are done for the day unless you get McKeedee(sorry if I misspelled) to change the part of his post that says it is the final match.

I thought the etiquette meant no double posts in the RP threads. Sorry. Ruler is a split personality that speaks in Glaciers head that memorizes almost anything and makes snarky remarks. Glacier obeys him most of the time.

Is no one going to ask what in the Calamity is Ruler? Like seriosly guys are unexplained voices in someones head normal for Oregon?

Dayblood: confusing people with complicated Epics and writing even more confusing fight scenes which introduce more Epics since today.
