    The only "safe" way would be to develop a machine specifically designed to handle the increased forces. Something that fits well with the whole pseudo steam-punk atmosphere of the new Scadrial...

    The very phrase "the God Beyond" indicates a powerful being outside of the "normal" spectrum. i can't imagine Harmony propagating, or at least encouraging, "god beyond" in reference to just another Shard holder.

    Sounds to me that it's Flutes in general that are important. Lord Ruler has one, Hoid has one that's important enough to try to get back... definitely a flute related theme here.

    Interesting point. Wouldn't Harmony be considered ONE Shard since he is the COMBINATION of Preservation and Ruin?

    I so wish I could attend this, sadly I can't get off work in time to make it. I've always wanted to ask him who he used as inspiration for Kaladin. Kaladin's my favorite character, I love the concept of someone with such obliviously bad PTSD overcoming it and flourishing.
