  1. So Jaelre, what was your curse/boon. You could talk to the dead, but was it scrambled?
  2. Ok, that was an incredibly fun game to play. Congratulations, everyone. Khas, I am sorry you died, but I personally was getting scared of you. I think Meta said it last game, but I am definitely watching you from now on. You will be an incredible helper to whichever side you are on.
  3. Hey everyone, Mailam was a Worldsinger, do with that as you want.
  4. Ahh, yes, now is when everything erupts, Trahar thought to himself as he realization set in on the faces of the rioters. "You may be wondering why we are doing this," Trahar spoke as he rose to his feet, faces turning to him. "I cannot speak for the others, but what my city has become is sickening. Rot and corruption spread throughout the government, and everywhere else as well. Kholinar is supposed to be above all of that! We are in the capital of the greatest nation in the world. These riots disgust me, with the waste of lives, but there is no other way. You are free to join us, if you want." With that, he left the rooftop to go hide.
  5. The Riots raged on, despite all attempts at order. It's almost like they want this city to collapse! Trahar thought to himself. He had completed his tasks far quicker than expected, so he had plenty of time before the next set. Trahar had contemplated trying to calm down sections of the riots, but he quickly recognized that such a task would be suicide to a to all except soldiers and a few others. What had surprised him, though, was a curiosity. A want to see how this riot would develop. After all, this was Kholinar, and it would survive anything! And so he was up on a roof, watching the chaos and fighting below. The Riots were interesting indeed. Even in his brief time up on the roof, he could tell that there were leaders spread throughout the street. They were hard to spot, but occasionally they motioned and whispered to nearby people. The riot often surged then, and more people fell. I know my city can recover from this, but with all this destruction it might take a while. These riots better end soon. Trahar moved to a more comfortable position, resting his back against a taller building, and continued to watch the Riots.
  6. What?! The highstorm is over! And looks like it has been, for a while! Trahar stepped out of his shelter and started running. He still had people to see and requests to make, none of which would be easy seeing as he was much later than planned. The Riots start, and you are too busy worrying about the highstorm and miss chances to end them, he chided themselves as he maneuvered his way through the streets.
  7. Also, I mentioned it in the dead doc, but it was cool that the two Ardents were also Artifabrians.
  8. Sorry, but I thought up some questions I would like answered. 1. Will the vote tallies be in the writeup? 2. If the Ardent protects someone with two lives, will the person they protected lose a life or not? 3. Will the various kills be identified in the writeup, to differentiate between the Ghostblood kill and Apothecary kill, for example?
  9. Trahar woke up to the sound of clashing metal. What is going on? I thought there was a riot going on, but that sounds like a war! He stepped out of the crevice between two buildings that he had retired in the night before, after not being able to navigate the streets. Ok, this has definitely excalated. I should try to find a better hiding place before someone decides I look suspicious, Trahar thought as he surveyed they fighting.
  10. Very nice job Mailliw, the game looked really good. Having died the first day, I got to observe and not really interact, but I agree with Wyrmhero that the Spies needed a little bit of a buff. Identifying who has what item is useful, but more so if they were working with the thief. Outside of that, finding out an item doesn't give them that much of an advantage.
  11. That looks like a very fun game. I definitely would be willing to play it, and like you said, if people haven't read all the books they will be fine. The rules for Padan Fain are very well thought out, so nice job there.
  12. Colorado resident of the US checking in
  13. That Rithmatist game looks pretty good, but there is one problem I spot immediately. If a small number of people add to the defense the first night, then a death is almost certain. But then late game, it will be almost impossible for the chalklings to get in. I feel like a scaling system would be better, unless that is exactly what you were aiming for.
  14. I have had a great run of my rep. foreseeing the future, but it can't last forever. It has been quite hilarious though.
  15. This looks really interesting. I think I will join as Trahar, a native-born Kholinarian who always felt a sense of awe for his city. This has manifested later in his life as the insistence that it is the best city in the world. He would do anything to help his city, including working out in a highstorm.
  16. It does look like they have a chance to be overpowered, but the Priest can't be converted so they only win if the Priest is killed or lynched. Seeing as that is a "safe" role, both the Cultists and everyone else would not want to kill them if they reveal themselves, as it makes the Gyorn have a really easy time at winning. But you are right, with the Priest removed, they have the easiest win condition. Does the debt revert back to you after one day, or does the Duke/Duchess keep it for the rest of the game? Is there a chance for each Elantrian to become Hoed, or is it a role the start with immediately after becoming an Elantrian? How would you become a Veteran Elantrian? Is it a certain time period of being an Elantrian, or does it happen instantly? Basically, the same question as the Hoed, just a different role
  17. This looks like it is going to be a great game. Very nice job on everything. I will report back later, once I have had some time to truly think about everything.
  18. Hmm,aanotherrvotetagainstime.fIaambnotrGB,ithoughaIndon't know why any of you would believe that. If you lynch me that is fine, as it will give you info about who could be GB. I have no items, however, I do have a role, but do what you must.
  19. Hmm, fair enough Meta. I can't really argue with that. There is some information being given out by people in these posts, and it is very informative. As I don't really want to die the first day, I will retract my vote for Sprenil and change it to Jim Bob Dirt. I would prefer not to die, and Adolin_Dustbringer, I don't actually suspect you yet. "What?! The Hierocracy?! That would be madness! No one wants a return to those days! They way Vorinism is today is much better. I am content in my place, Brightlord." As he laced that last word with sarcasm, Tors backed out of the group of people to try to think. Storms, that Tion was an arrogant fool. Excellent RP, Meta, Tion is developing like you wanted
  20. I really want to see them, and after that we will possibly have a base format for each world
  21. I would be willing to help you out there, that sounds like a really good idea! It would depend when the game would happen, but I probably could make it work
  22. See, the thing is that by voting someone out we get information. Yes, it benefits the GB more, but if they had items they can be distributed but we know that they are innocent, which can help prove a few things. Overall, the first day is difficult on what to do because of the fact nobody knows anything yet. Tors felt he had to speak up when he heard Tion accept Sprenil's request. "No, see he can't be with the assassins, none of them would be crazy enough to do this. It is storming insane for an innocent to act like this, but even more so a traitor! To risk themselves would be suicide, and they would know it..." Tors trailed off as he realized that this fact would make it a believable bluff. "Hmm, I see you have a point, Tion. Sprenil, I don't know how crazy you are, but I too will follow your suicidal crazy plan."
