    On the subject of nosebleeds, it seems like anyone you ask will have their own way of doing it. The best I have ever heard, was, by a doctor, while I was doing Wilderness First Aid certification, was to put uncooked bacon on the nosebleed. That advice is both hilarious and impractical on so many levels.

    Don't sit on the stairs in the dark, reading on your kindle with the door closed. When someone needs to come downstairs, it is almost guaranteed that they will hit you with the door. If only the stairs weren't so comfortable... and dark. Dark is good.

    Twi's mom. Why are you doing this? What could possibly make you think that this is any way to raise your daughter? Two is awesome, and you keep pushing her down and handicapping her in everything she does. Maybe, instead of trying to worry your daughter when she is about to get a job, you could be supportive. Sorry, I had to get that out of my system. Don't listen to her, Twi. She has no idea of how to parent. You are awesome.

    Well Lark, while I agree with you that the update to Silk looks awful, it is keeping me from accidental downvotes, so that's one positive. On the not so bright side, it keeps changing the shard to mobile version.

    I'll take all of them that you have, wait until the What Happened in Oregon tv show comes out and sell them all (except two for myself) like the precious merchandise that they are. This plan, it is foolproof. Also, if someone went through the trouble of reading the whole shirt, they would grow increasingly more confused, until they saw Taylor Swift's name, where they would just stare blankly.

    Could someone one here explain the concept of wearing nice clothes to me, please? I think that I'm not understanding it in the way that everyone else does, because I see it as a way to conform to an outdated more by being uncomfortable. Help. Also, when I opened my Kindle, it had switched to mobile version, so I had to fix all nine tabs I had open.

    I do mean what I say here. The people injured or killed in terror attacks are still people, even if I did not know them personally, that does not make them less deserving of my empathy. I have always found the idea of doing something due to societal pressure only to be irritating, so that does not drive me.I post here to add whatever little measure of good I can to someone's bad day, and I express empathy because I feel it. And Mistrunner, have a hug. *hugs*
