  1. Putting up with teenagers and foreign strangers on a forum website for a fandom that no one's ever heard of
  2. I realize that Sazed merged the two and became Harmony, but for all intents and purposes right now, regarding this theory I referred to Ruin and Preserves as separate. Good nitpick, though.
  3. Ah, OK. Thanks for clarifying
  4. Oh, OK. Yeah, it does seem so. This is ironic since Dominion is the reason of the geographical land-magic of Sel, and Jaddeth was originally just a minor god of rocks and land.
  5. Isn't Dominion Splintered? Or did Odium kill Skai, too?
  6. In Elantris (and the forthcoming sequel) Jaddeth, the Derethi God, is an recurring problem. In Mistborn (particularly Era 2) Trell, god of the Nelazan, is also a recurring problem. They are very similar in that they are both on worlds where there are already two shards, and kind of "mess up" the balance of the two by being a third "god force." Could Jaddeth and Trell be in any way related? Maybe they're both embodiments of Autonomy? I feel like Jaddeth will become more important very soon. Any ideas on that?
  7. Exquisite! Veritably, my good man, your curriculum vitae is well-met to our brotherhood of Cosmere-ity. We, the Sharders, welcome you unto our fraternal order that also contains many females. I extend an offer of allomantic-chouta unto you, good sir. Veritably. OK, can't keep that up. Hi, I'm bleeder. Resident bestower of Cosmere PDFs.
  8. That...actually sounds fun. Nice Dumbledore reference. Quality of entertaining really depends on the entertain-ees. And I'm glad it helped! We're here for you anytime, Twi!
  9. It is cute!
  10. Yes, me! Post-Colonial America, Revolutionary France, and Just-Got-Dumped England are amazing! Not to mention the onset of the Industrial Revolution?
  11. That sounds epic.
  12. You're kidding! No way! You have just shaken the very foundations of my existence!
  13. I ship Garnet so hard it's not even funny
  14. I have the bassline to "My Girl To Me" by Dawes stuck in my head. Not the whole song, just the bassline and a little guitar lick. Sigh
  15. Welcome, iydigs. We are the Sharders (that is the collective term) and we offer you our allomantic-chouta! Have you read Warbreaker?
  16. All the mini-spikes would definitely not have the same amount of power as the original, but there would, I would assume, not be a net loss of power. The size of the spike doesn't matter, as seen in Hero of Ages, but I could be wrong. How would one split said original spike, when it's coated in blood, though?
  17. Popular? You're infamous! Not a week goes by when you're not on top of the leaderboards in rep points. We love you here, Twi! And we'll help you with your daily life any way we can. That's the great thing about the Shard: a bunch of misfit people, dedicated to a fandom that barely anyone's ever heard of, and who have never met in real life, venting to each other and helping each other resolve their daily conflicts. If we were to have met in real life without the Shard, we'd have forgotten each other without a second thought. But this is a community. It's like The Breakfast Club, just with more memes, and more Sanderson, and more comic books, and... Yeah. You get the picture.
  18. Excellent hypothesis. Taravangian being bonded with Cultivation's Splinter is an interesting concept.
  19. Maybe she bonds with one of the Unmade?
  20. Maybe we'll find out in Oathbringer, if it ever comes out. Speaking of spren, I have a theory involving Eshonai. Dalinar is a Bondsmith, and it is speculated that Bondsmiths are bonded to "godspren" such as the Stormfather. Eshonai serves the same purpose to her people as Dalinar does to his, she unites them. And she spoke to Stormfather once or twice in WoR, I believe. Perhaps Eshonai is Bondsmith #2?
  21. So, at the end of WoR, the Lopen somehow absorbs Stormlight, and begins to heal his arm. Does this mean the Lopen is a Surgebinder? Will the Lopen become a Radiant?!
  22. Comics have been getting better and better with the whole "accurate-portrayal-of-humans" thing. Also, with LGBT, gender and race representation.
  23. That may just be my idealistic, adolescent mind hoping for the best, but it's how I live.
