Wanted a night action provable that I could claim that wasn't the NK Wanted to either remove Xino or Silho, who felt like inevitable MLs or accurate executions, no reason to waste time debating it Wanted to see if non-elim NKs resulted in players that can still talk or not

RandBy was the first player to claim RPer. Devotary later confirmed it after she died. No idea how it relates to Wizard being Village, but I'm 100% certain he is and 99.9% certain Fae is too. Also I think it's a good time to reveal your second role. If it's one that we haven't even heard of yet it could add some context Yeah I figured you were shielding against Trolls but I'm not voting you so dw That said, do you believe my claim now, or?

Kas has alluded to a state after "orange" so idk about that. I like my theory that every time an elim gets killed, the orange players are purged. But then the game isn't really flipless so nvm I'm going to white that all out

I have confirmation from a third PM Spider that on Odd Nights they can open a permanent PM between two players, and on Even Nights they can learn something about a player. I do imagine learning their alignment is possible from this, given that would create natural opportunities for a small PM network to form over time. Even just learning someone's role gives a PM Spider reason to send that player a PM next cycle and to use it as leverage. Flavor-wise it makes sense too, because PM is just half of the name. Spidering is gathering info. My guess is something 4 V!Trolls(maybe more?) and 2 E!Trolls(max). We have no reason to believe in 3 E!Trolls at the moment, but if that changes, then so will my assumption that this game isn't entirely kayana

I just addressed this in my edit lol. And yes, if it’s just the opposite alignment, but Bookwyrm doesn’t get told they were Trolled. They have to second guess every result after claiming now until we find the elim Trolls. ED1T: Balance wise, more than 2 Trolls feels insane. They’re basically a variant on redirect roles, which are very powerful. Especially when they reverse every role in a blackout game where accurate information is vital.

Fun roles. Much room for chaos. Fortunately, the elims only have one kill and one Troll a night (potentially two kills with a Goalkeeper and a Troll, but then they can’t Troll us), so assuming village Trolls chill out, there’s a lot of ways we can grab info. ED1T: Two Troll team could work, but I would severely doubt them having a Goalkeeper then.

I pegged Mouse fairly early as Village and haven’t been able to do the same this game. Understand she’s been very busy in comparison, but I would like to see more content from her. If she’s Village, she’ll probably convince me to look elsewhere. If not, then my vote might stay. ED1T: Did @Steeldancer ever confirm his role is Analyst, or is his different? Nevermind I’m dumb

I’m tinfoiling Stick pretty hard still, but I always struggle to catch e!Stick and usually defer to others I trust who can read them better. I’m waiting for an answer to the question I asked her earlier, though, and her response could affect this. I have been worried about them having both a Goalkeeper and Troll, yeah. Thing is, I got Troll Immunity last night, which can mean one of two things: A Troll Trolled a Troll who was Trolling and I randomly got the immunity effect for one cycle Elims have a role that can make players immune to Trolling and used on me to deny me kills So in scenario one, that means Three Trolls had actions accounted for that couldn't have been the E!Troll to make E!Goalkeeper kill Tani, which would mean three V Trolls one E Troll minimum. In scenario two, idk how many other Trolls there are and an anti-Troll role exists on the elim team. TBH the question is if there's a Vig kill beyond Trolled!Goalkeeper. Too many people complaining about me distracting or clearly getting hung up on my fake claim, so I felt bad But I did consider claiming a Neutral SK Referee, if my kill went through last night on Silho, to claim that I have a Carved Red from MR17-esque wincon where I win only if I survive until 1-1-1 V-N-E exlo, and to help with it, I know the numbers on both sides (19 - 6, for example) and every time a player died, I would receive an update in my PM to that number

We haven't officially seen any vote manip, but Striker claimed the Lynchbait role, which will add 1 vote 1 of Myself, Araris, or Wiz for this turn.

2 Village 1 Elim would be my bet but from my data TJ, Archer, and TNK either intentionally, accidentally, or coincidentally signaled/slipped Goalkeeper knowledge when they should not have been able to prior to that point without being one / being on a team with one. Then you got whatever Stick is doing Resurfacing this ED1T in case it was missed

Bruh I've been paranoiding on TKN since he claimed Midfielder haha. But since no one has claimed Striker (which is odd, since Goalkeeper is both a Lurcher and a Coinshot depending on Trolling), the only possibility is he's the same role as me and figured out what I was doing. I just can't decide if I V!Read or E!Read him for it, because if the elims have a Goalkeeper but not a Troll, I could see e!Goalkeeper!TNK tying himself to me and my lies to also try to get a free kill. FTR though, I have 5 Goalkeeper suspects rn (likely wrong about at least 1, but these things happened) Adavantos TJ (first player to mention keeper in thread, either huge coincidence or a signal / slip) Archer (D1 made a joke suggested Stick was a Goalkeeper because she was trying to block a kill, or something eerily close to it's real effect)) TNK (already explained) Stick (now claiming a non-Goalkeeper Lurcher, presumably to bait Trolling off info roles but ?) I hate lying personally, but can justify it when the benefits outweigh the costs. The costs for my shenanigans, however, snowballed more than I anticipated, and I think we have enough good info now that I can eliminate as much misinformation as possible. Also, I don't care at all about getting killed anymore, execution or otherwise. I get to talk in thread? I don't care about roles, nor my own vote really. Discussion is all I care about >:) ED1T: Fair, but I was very distant, non-impactful, and blendy with my posts that game. Not attention seeking. Plus, if e!Me has prior knowledge of Forum Family Roles (assuming Goalkeeper is an anomaly for some reason), especially in a game with SE Forum flavor, why would I invent a totally insane lie I knew it would eventually fall apart? Whereas v!me would only know my own roles and would need to make distro guesses based on that, and I saw (perhaps shadows) of other potential footbally roles. That all said, I might just be an idiot. Does Goalkeeper have any context as a term within SE or forums in general? The flavor of the role isn't even world cup related, just references past successful Lurchers, so I really dunno

I have two abilities, one from each role, so either the description you're presenting is misleading or you know my second ability and are smartly keeping it a secret (or lying to get me killed ) but that's okay. I'm hoping a second Midfielder will feel comfortable enough to claim @Devotary of Spontaneity could you clarify if RPer only takes one or two? I didn't Troll Matrim. I used my second ability, and it wasn't on Mat either. I just knew Mat would say no and I was going to use it to "clear" him of being a Footballer. TBH it's not only a way to keep roles in the game, but to get an influx of info, so I could see a fairly good number of them. What a fun role! I did not get Trolled because my 2nd action succeeded, sadly. I wanted the reverse effect to happen. I was made Troll Immune by someone tonight, which means either a Troll Trolled a Troll who was Trolling and it coincidentally RNG'd me, or there's an additional role that grants Trolling immunity. So I can't even get Trolled tonight! Sad. Considering I know with 100% certainty that Goalkeeper = Lurcher, I'm sitting here going "huh, why the pushback on me if you're just going to claim Lurcher anyway?" Why not just verify me sis While claiming one? :thonk: Nah, you can see during the night turn I began to have a change of heart. For one, I quoted Orlok and said I would tell him everything in PMs if I could, but I needed the first night to be done before I could come forward. The only reason I didn't immediately reveal is because I received multiple PMs and I wanted an elim to claim to me first. But then RandBy revealed I'm a Troll and the jig was up. I think Silho just signed up to troll regardless and doesn't have any master plan. I tried to kill Xino last night but then after our extended back and forth I switched my order to Silho, since he said he wanted to die and I really didn't know who else I was willing to N1 Vig Kill. I wanted to be able to claim that today but no one Trolled me, and instead I got Troll immune, so I guess my strategy is cooked and it's time to go sicko mode. Yes. I made up everything but Goalkeeper. I did this because I knew I couldn't self-protect and wanted to see if I could link up with another one. Ashbringer first mentioned Striker on like Page 2 of D1, so I figured maybe Kas put multiple Football roles into the game and you know the rest. Anyway, very weirded out by Stick for claiming the Goalkeeper abilities while acting like there's no Footballers, when she would know at least one exists (hers) Thing was, when TKN originally claimed, I thought maybe I was crazy lucky for guessing a portion of the distro, if maybe not what they did. But then it's quickly become apparent (him requesting to get Trolled last night, for example) that he was a Goalkeeper claiming Vanilla/Midfielder to avoid the NK, much like I had done with the Referee role. So @_Stick_: are you officially claiming Goalkeeper, a different kind of Lurcher, or that you were trying to draw Trolling off the info roles? ED1T: Oh, and I was avoiding ^this^ reveal and using the Captain as a shield to obviously protect a potential v!Lurcher!TNK, but we definitely reached the point where the misinformation from my gambit is causing more damage than good, so /shrug If the elims have a Goalkeeper I'm sure they were going to figure it out soon, assuming they already didn't
