  1. Ham's line from the following scene: Elend: Stay here, wait to see if I get back. If I don't, tell Vin what happened. Ham: Sure, I'll tell her. Then I'll proceed to remove her daggers from my chest.
  2. That must be one of the more disturbing things I've heard in a while... Assuming there would be 1 for sentience, 1 for each of the 16 allomantic powers, and 1 for each of the 16 feruchemical powers, that would be 33 spikes... in a CAT...
  3. I've bought an extra copy of Elantris just for this purpose. I want a second copy of Mistborn for that as well, but I can never find a copy at the local used book store, but I guess that's a good thing
  4. I have to say the hardcover. Considering I saw at the local bookstore paperbacks that looked like their spines were broken just from the shear SIZE of the book
  5. Not sure if it supports your argument directly or not, but I'm pretty sure there are still a few metals that we do not know the hemalurgical properties of. It might be plausible that these metals take from other magic systems, or we may find there are other undiscovered metals that are used for that. Unless Brandon Sanderson has said contrary to this, it might be that there are even more allomantically active metals we are still not aware of.
  6. So yeah... I guess I might be a Brandon Sanderson fan... a little... I've read all of his novels released so far, after having been made aware of him through WoT... but then again I'd imagine quite a few people on here started that way. My personal hobbies involve reading, gaming and studying religion in my spare time, causing me to have a religious background on par with that of Sazed. I am a follower of the Path, though I will likely hold out on the whole ear-piercing thing. If I were a Twinborn, I would definitely be a Soother/Zinc ferring. I am currently in the process of finishing my Mechanical Engineering degree at UCONN. It is unfortunate that only a few people have read Brandon Sanderson's works here, but I am trying to fix that. I try to read as much as I can outside of my studies, though that has become more and more difficult of late. Hoping to have some good conversations with you all
