  3. It really was
  4. I sent the file to your listed hotmail
  5. I finished a rough cut for the set. I can e-mail it to you if you want. yes I am using MSE 2. (For anyone that does not know the software in question: http://magicseteditor.sourceforge.net/download
  6. As a pet project, I have been trying to develop a MTG set from the world of Mistborn, with the possibly of expanding to other worlds in the Cosmere. I was wondering if any fellow BS/MTG fans would like to lend a hand with finalizing the set. I have a few mechanics that need hammering out, as well as creative help with assorted spells and abilities. Feel free to throw ideas my way, or critique the ideas I have come up with so far.

For each of the 3 metallic arts, I chose 3 colors to represent it. I'm using URW for Allomancy, BUR for Hemalurgy and GUW for Feruchemy. This card was one of a set of first drafts (~75 cards at the moment). I'm actually hoping for input on the full set, either for balancing, or other ideas. I will probably start up a thread for assistance in the near future... getting artwork for all the cards will take some time.
  8. I would guess it wouldn't be as simple as you spike the breath out of them. You might just get the breath they were born with. The question lies with someone not of endowment being given a breath. Would you be able to manipulate or gift that breath to another, or would you need a hemalurgical spike to make it work?
  9. I would guess Hemalurgy would give the power to use breath and Command, but wouldn't take the breath from someone, in the same way that anyone can swallow metal, but only an allomancer or someone with a hemalurgic spike granting that form of allomancy can burn that metal.
  10. Spoilers Aplenty
  11. That would in fact work to the best of my knowledge. Consider replacing claws with aluminum claws yet?

A pet project of mine for a while.
  13. Which was my thought. If the metalminds are not in fact directly connected to the feruchemist, but the portion of their soul that allows them to do feruchemy, it would be plausible that it would work. I don't think Mr. Sanderson has explicitly stated what part of the metalmind-feruchemist bond allows only them to access the metalmind
  14. But would the source of the spike's metalminds belong to whomever was spiked, or would it not count. I don't think Brandon Sanderson has specifically addressed that situation.
  15. I must have missed your earlier post
  16. Not sure if it could work, but if one saved all of their memories in a coppermind, and then was used to make a spike that gives the ability to use copperminds, would you be able to use the sources metalminds? Maybe someone could ask Brandon Sanderson this... If so it would make the transfer easier
  17. So we'll just start with spikes giving it the gold feruchemy power and Auger and then just keep feeding the cat gold as we shove more spikes in... It's gotta work, right?
  18. Never said it'd be a problem, just something that would need considering. Might make movement and the placement of those things we call organs kind of wierd though... NEXT PROJECT: KOLOSS CAT!
  19. The spikes would still have to be ridiculously small. You'd quickly hit a point where there's more metal than cat...
  20. I imagine it would work down to any size of spike, but I might remember it being in Mistborn canon that the amount of power it can hold is relative to the size of its size. I might be wrong though.
  21. If we approximate the surface area of a cat at 150 in^2 (Someone let me know if they have a better estimate) the spike's head shouldn't be bigger than about .8 inches in diameter if you are going for the full 256 spikes... That would be a really odd looking cat...
  22. I would shoot for 256 spikes. Then you would have 16^2!!!!! Spikes! We should definitely start up some Skaa breeding camps. And restart the Terris breeding camps as well...
  23. I was thinking of Caton of Inquisition, but found it too punny to post Mister is the cat in Jim Butcher's Dresden Files.
  24. The interesting thing about this idea is that there is also historical precident for this system. Bach was known to insert his name into a few of his pieces (B flat, A , C , B under the german note naming scheme is B A C H) for instance.
  25. But who would lead said Canton of Cats? I'ma voting for Mister
