So does the time limit on the shape shifting have a cooldown or could he constantly keep a shape if he stays in contact with the material?
How would his normal shape be effected, if he was for example in a metal body and got heavily dented or molten.
Does his normal enhanced durability compund with whatever he turns into?
Also, when you say he used to be his vanilla servant, do you mean before Chasmfiend came to the city or one of the people he came into contact with since arriving in the city turning?

Or energy, gases, or liquids, the form is simply too unstable. He can (respectively) only stay in their forms for a couple of seconds, a couple of minutes, or a quarter of an hour. For solid states, as long as he holds contact, he can stay that material.

As energy, liquids or gases, normal physical attacks are useless. They just go through him. However, for liquids, being, say, boiled would cause severe burns, though far less than they should have been. For solids, melting/burning causes minor burning, loss of material becomes a nearby lesser equivalent (usually lacerations), and denting causes severe bruising.

By endurance, I didn't mean his skin was harder. I meant he had a far higher pain threshold, and could continue extreme physical activity for enormous periods of time. He also heals slightly faster, but not epic speed. More like a wound that would take a vanilla a month to heal, his takes 2 weeks.

He was one of Chasmfiend's new servants that are discussed in the upcoming post (you haven't met him yet- technically, from what you know, Chasmfiend hasn't either).

  2. I guess Lich is being put on ice again...

Well, here's another normal epic (His first post will be at the bottom of Chasmfiend's due to his short relationship with him. As a vanilla servant.):

    Golem.jpg

    Epic Name: Golem

    Real Name: Jack Niel

    Age: 15

    Primary: Material Shift

Has the ability to change the matter in his body to a material he’s touching. This is temporary; He can change into a solid for about half an hour, a liquid for about 15 minutes, a gas for about 2 (he is off-color; he looks kind of like light smoke).Other forms of mater are harder (energy is possible, but almost useless except for blocking a single attack). It takes about 15 minutes for him to be able to transform again.

    Secondary: Increased Physical Abilities

He can move about 3x faster than a normal person, is 5x stronger, 6-7x more enduring and much more agile. Shoot him in the head secretly and he'll die normally though.

    Appearance:

Light blonde hair. Blue eyes. Athletic build. Often looks lost in thought. Usually wears a running shirt and jeans.

    Modus Operandi:

Wants to be able to beat anything. Trains constantly to be able to do so.

Will post a Chasmfiend post as soon as this is rejected/accepted. If accepted, a short Golem post will be added (mostly before transformation).

  3. -While we never hear of epic powers that turn against them, does that mean I can’t I add a power that causes him to follow K.I.R?

-Okay, the Ice is ~-50 degrees. He can animate any ice.

-Drain effect lasts about an hour.

-If I can’t add the first bullet point, then he follows him so he doesn’t tell anyone else

  4. Okay, slight changes:

    -Ice is -210 degrees now

-They heal after a week because otherwise he could touch an epic once and they would die no matter what

-He has a max of about 10 statues

    -Is immune to cold

    -Can only drain people consciously

-(Pretty Sure) That the King in Rags can absorb energy no matter how small. Hitting him with a block of super cold ice would just cause a little dust on the ground. Literally.

-And why backstabbing isn't an option for him: Lich's powers don't work on the King in Rags. At all. He is at his mercy.

As for getting K.I.R. Downgraded, I'll talk to @Lord in Rags about it this afternoon.

  5. So Lich, the King in Rag's servant, should also probably be introduced now... (I collaborated with @Lord in Rags on this):

    Epic Name: Lich
Real Name: Sceit (Pronounced Syeet- Last Name Unknown)
    Age: Unknown

    Primary Power:
He can create ice with the water in the air, or any water he has nearby. He can create it in about a 10 ft. radius, and control it as long as he can see it. His ice is usually some -300o Fahrenheit, making it very hard to melt, and its temperature constantly lowers to that point. He actually carries several bottles of water in case there isn’t any other source.

    Secondary Power:
He can animate extremely cold objects (<-200o). He has to understand how such a thing would move in its shape, so he usually just makes statues of ice. He can’t cause, say, a wall to move because, well, how does it move? So he usually sticks to humans. They have low intelligence, and can only travel within a 2.5 mile radius of Lich, or they melt after a while.

    Tertiary Power:
He can drain a person health. After being touched, a person’s immune system is practically nulled, and they don’t heal at all for a week or so. After 2 or so minutes, they die. When they die, his healing has increased by about to about 1.5x what it is normally, for about 3 days. If he kills another person during this this time, it increases by another 1.5x. So draining multiple people stacks a bit (so 2 people would be 2.25x, 3 would be 3.325, etc.).

    Prime Invincibility:
When in danger, thick walls of unnatural ice surround him. This ice melts at command, but is harder than almost all metals and can support several tons of pressure.

    Appearance:
Usually shrouded in a large black cloak, underneath he is very pale, with blue eyes and black hair. His cloak is almost as resistant to bullets and blades as an inch of Kevlar, due to meeting Chasmfiend once. Originally it was practically impossible to damage.

    Modus Operandi:
Does whatever The King in Rags tells him to do. He doesn’t resist because The King in Rags knows and can cause his weakness. Often acts as his 'champion'.

  6. I was wondering how many servants my epic would have.

Argon had somewhere around a dozen (6 was half), but he also lied about his powers and to seem weaker. So, since he acted less important, I assume he got less servants, but I'm not sure.

So how many would he have?

Edit: Forgot to say who my epic was.

For those who want to figure it out, it's wordplay about "the Demon that rises from the Bottomless Void".

For those who just want to know:

     I'm Chasmfiend

@Chasmfiend can I assume that Chasmifiend falls into line and agrees to serve Rainmaker?  If he does, I don't necessarily need another post from you, I'll just mention is response vaguely and move on so Rainmaker can be at the meeting.

You would be correct. Yes, Chasmfiend is arrogant, but even he fears something. Well, multiple things. But you get the point.
