  1. Planetplanters: Grow giant trees with Progression and give them a huge Gravitational pull. Maybe you'll even get some black holes as an added bonus. Slipperystickers: Trip someone by sticking their foot to the ground with Adhesion, then use Abrasion to make them slide all over the place when they fall.
  2. I had no idea this was a thing. I love you and hate you at the same time for showing me this. Edit: So that was a really fun thread to read. I'm sad it died out though :/ But I suppose wanting it to continue forever is a bit Selish of me.
  3. I hate you so much right now. Have an upvote. Bad puns are my life.
  4. I don't know how I feel about Stump. Her character kinda makes me uncomfortable, idk. But I think we'll see more of her. If not fighting in this desolation, maybe rebuilding in the second arc. Ym was killed so early, and Renarin and Glys are... "special"... so maybe Stump'll be the only Truthwatcher we'll meet. Btw I don't mean to hijack this thread or anything, but what's the general consensus on Glys? Good? Evil? Something in between?
  5. Lightbringer? Is there luxin in the Cosmere? ....Do you have inside information about a Sanderson and Weeks collaboration that we don't know about?
  6. I think a good security measure would be a Coinshot or Lurcher to detect metals, a Seeker to sense Investiture, and a Leecher to burn away metals. There would be one of those airport conveyor belts to check on any metal vials, metalminds, or spikes, and certain ones might be confiscated. Chromium Feruchemy would be banned from casinos quite effectively; any external metalminds would be discovered and held at the desk so the Ferring couldn't use them, and metalminds sneakily hidden beneath the skin would be burned by the Leecher (WoB that a Leecher could burn off an earring).
  7. With things like Allomantic Atium and Electrum, your mind is expanded so that you can react and process that information while burning it. Same idea with Feruchemical Steel, and I think Sand Mastery as well. Otherwise, while tapping steel, you would run so fast that you wouldn't even realize there was a wall in front of you. It should give you enough mental capacity to avoid a wall before you hit it. With Feruchemical Zinc, its effectiveness would depend on how much you're tapping at a time. It has the potential to be both more and less effective than the reflexes offered as a by-product of simply burning atium and electrum.
  8. Is there much evidence for this? It sounds like a fun theory. Maybe the true danger is the "ideal" form of the Voidbringers in the Spiritual Realm?
  9. I don't think a Seeker would have enough information to sense metals that are being pushed. If he senses a Coinshot Pushing really hard, he could probably expect a small object coming quickly or a large object coming slowly. Maybe based on how far the Coinshot gets pushed back or whether the Coinshot Pushes on an anchor behind him, the Seeker could get a better estimate of the size and/or speed of the metal projectile. I doubt the abilities would go much beyond that though. A Seeker would never truly be able to see metals being Pushed or Pulled, just as Vin couldn't actually see Elend receiving the effect of Breeze's Soothing. She could only discern the direction of the Soothing, which was toward Elend.
  10. I've always pictured Inquisitors with black/dark pants and no shirts. Tattoos on various parts of the torso as well, not just the forehead. I don't remember if they were supposed to be blue, but in my mind they have pale, slightly blue skin.
  11. I'm in high school right now, took chem freshman year. There are some things I'm a bit fuzzy on, but I think that I got most of it. Edit: Wasn't intending to brag about being smart, I just meant that Pagerunner explained it so well that I could understand it, even with very little education on the topic. ^Pretty much everything else I wanted to say. This whole thing is just so amazing!
  12. Investiture interferes with investiture. Other magics would have a hard time affecting metals piercing one's body because they are hemalurgically charged spikes.
  13. Do we know that the balcony views itself separately? Why would that be the case? Edgedancer spoilers
  14. Didn't Szeth lash the balcony beneath Gavilar? Then, assuming what you said is correct (I'm not doubting you, but I haven't read the books in a long time), you can lash a part of an object or group of objects that sees itself as a whole. Could you lash someone's body to the ground, lash his head to the sky, and rip his head off?
  15. That is awesome!
  16. Popular theory is that they are Unmade.
  17. Maybe the "everything is awesome" song for Lift
  18. I like that thought. Seems likely. This is clearly MUCH more plausible though
  19. I believe that this girl was relevant foreshadowing and helped Lift reach the third oath, but she didn't do it consciously. That conversation helped push Lift to realize the Words she had to speak. However, I don't think that she was purposefully trying to make her say oath.
  20. Omg that would be funny xD His oath would be "I will make chouta for all of my cousins"
  21. There was one theory that Surgebinding worked differently in the Cognitive Realm, and that chart represents what each of the Surges does in Cognitive. They're all sort of distorted versions of the normal Surges.
  22. I like the theory that the Broken One is the Stormfather. We've already established that he is a broken Honor. And as BrightVoid said, Odium and Cultivation haven't been super active as far as we know. However, the highstorms have continued. That could be how the Stormfather reigns.
  23. A lot of the Shards have numbers that are kinda significant to them. Preservation's is 16, Endowment's is 5, etc
