I will respectfully accept your disagreement. Well, the universe will supposedly end, some day (well, not day, there will be no concepts of days then... language...) And even if something will outlast that I still find that existence to be pretty meaningless, in the hilarious and absurd way that is. That is very possible, if you find your beliefs useful then they will be useful then... well, use them. (It is too late to be eloquent XD) I am of course curious what the fundamental truths of your religion are. Of course not, I am, being the faulty human I am most likely wrong anyway, but it makes sense to me. You dont need the nihilism to be angst, embrace it, love it, laugh at it, laugh with it, after all hilarious. My personal conclusion is that everyones wrong, even me. I view faith as a tool. My instrument of choice is the guitar and my voice, doesnt stop me from picking up other instruments if I find them interesting. Sometimes you need a hammer, sometimes you need a wrench, if all you have is a hammer Im sure you'll find interesting ways to use that. No, you see, suicide is not the answer (well, it is an answer, I just dont think it is the right answer, as much as my subjective opinion goes), death is even more pointless than being alive, so you might as well live.

There is nothing wrong with that, but my brain does not work like that. It would start questioning the point in helping others, that their existence is in the end of the day going to be forgotten, even if it didnt for a couple thousand years the sun will still end up swallowing the earth, and even if humanity survives that there is still the inevitable heat death of the universe. Not saying that helping people isnt worth it. It feels good to help others and that is the only reason I need, even if it is unreasonable. Not at all. How did your sleep deprivation turn out?

I agree. You have to be careful to not have the nihilism be a source of hubris though. But everything can be a source of hubris, or so experience has told me. Exactly. And even if there was a meaning it would be easy to ask the question "Well whats the meaning of the meaning?"

Well, I cant, which is what is so interesting about human existence. You could try my exercise of questioning everything and see if you end up finding meaning somewhere. I disagree. I put (subjective) value in emotions. Fun, enjoyment, awe and all that is worth a lot. Which is why I also value art and creativity so much because it creates more complex emotions rather than just sadness or happiness. Whats the point in being appreciated? XD Ah, the lovely abyss. Sleep deprivation alright. As long as you can get some rest when the weird sleep deprivation rush ends you will be fine, maybe. You dont start seeing things man was not meant to know until about day 3. Anyway, I shall either stay up all night and read The Name Of The Wind or go to sleep now. I work tomorrow. Well, Im listening to the you who sounds like me, not much listening when you are saying stuff I agree with... What Ive heard having infinitely long threads slows down the site, though Im no good at this computer thingy, so dont take my word for it.

I love platform games, they are also one of the few things that can make me angry. Speaking of writing. I really need some discipline too. I just improvise something together, make sure it makes some amount of sense and then I call it a day. School really ruined the act of writing for me, I like coming up with stories, I like creating things, but after sitting up past midnight, you have written one page on a subject that couldnt bore you more, your mind cant come up with anything else to say about the subject but you still have two more pages to write. That becomes a minor trauma after a while.
