Ambition Investing in Threnody, if only slightly, could link up to what Nazh says to Kels about becoming a C-Shadow in SH, in that there are rituals and the like involved, making it sound like something to perhaps aspire or strive toward.

Doesn't the essay mention that Ambition was fatally wounded in the system? So could it be possible they suffered a Shardic bleed out of sorts after they left? As for the Shard in space, I'm of the opinion that would actually be Ambition, or rather, their corpse.

Perhaps a question to ask would be how much Investiture, compared Shard's full potential, is required to have a Perpendicularity form. Maybe then we can extrapolate Threnody's and FotS' Shardpool situation

The news of the 10th Elantris ed. pleases me to no end, although I wonder if the Kindle edition version will also be released around the same time. I'm not particularly sure if I like the 10th Mistborn cover (I'm a huge fan of the Gollancz cover art for Brandon's books)

I really like that cover for AU, especially if the style of the book on the cover is used for the Ars Arcanum, should ever Brandon ever release it as a book (I hope to damnation he does)
