  1. Adolin Kholin claims third place! 32 entered, and now only two are left standing. Two champions from different planets, brought together to fight one last time. Marsh, a man who sought to overthrow the Lord Ruler, and sacrificed everything to see this goal fulfilled. A man who lost his humanity, becoming a Steel Inquisitor. His will was strong enough to rebel against a Shard for a brief moment, and he was responsible for helping to save the world. He now aids Harmony, and has become the personification of Death. And Kaladin, a Windrunner from the Knights Radiant of Roshar. Sold into slavery and forced to endure the hell that was Bridge Four, Kaladin fought through, and was responsible for saving thousands of lives at the Battle of the Tower. He's done battle with full Shardnearers multiple times and won, as well as defeated Szeth, the Assassin in White, after he claimed the sky as his own. Which of these two warriors will emerge triumphant, and become the champion of the Second Annual Sanderson Tournament?
  2. Kaladin claims the winds as his own, and soars into the final round! But before we move onto the final round, we must determine who will win the bronze medal! Adolin and Szeth will fight for third place!
  3. I certainly hope you connected more with Kaladin than a serial assassin But yeah, Kaladin. I think Szeth will end up being a great character, but we haven't had enough POVs with him yet. Plus, Kaladin has beaten him canonically.
  4. If I had to guess, I'd say that Frost (the assumed recipient of the first letter and author of the second) knows about it.
  5. Marsh will move on to the finals! One spot remains in the finals, who will claim it? Kaladin or Szeth?
  6. Kaladin will move on the the semi-finals! In the first fight in the semi-finals, Marsh (Steel Inquisitor) will go up against Adolin Kholin!
  7. That's definitely something I'll have to work on for next time. Nightblood is weird, considering he was both a contestant and a weapon used by Vasher and maybe Szeth. For what's left of this tournament I'll try and clarify what point all of these characters are at. Thank you for the feedback, I really do appreciate it! Edit: For this match, I imagined Kelsier as a Mistborn before his death, since we haven't seen much of what he can do after death.
  8. We had discussed prior to the tournament that ascended Vin would be to OP, so normal Mistborn Vin was entered.
  9. Broke college student who gets to study instead of going out. Does that count as a costume? I'd post a picture, but I'm a mess.
  10. I was really excited for this matchup, I thought it'd be a close one. Boy was I wrong.
  11. Looks like I'll have to throw Kelsier some love, mainly because I want to see a Marsh/Kelsier final. Plus, I think Kelsier could win in a fight. Not easily, a fight between these two could go either way, but Kel fights dirty, in ways Kaladin might not expect. It wouldn't be easy for Kaladin to get close to Kel, and a coin through the head is fatal, the Stormlight couldn't react fast enough to heal him (I think). Even if Kaladin got near Kel, atium is OP as hell. Kelsier might be unfamiliar with Surges, but Kaladin won't know how allomancy works either. And where Kaladin fights with honor, Kelsier will take any opportunity to win, no matter how dirty or unfair it may be.
  12. Szeth will move on to the next round! In the final match of the quarter finals, Kelsier will fight against Kaladin!
  13. Adolin Kholin moves on to the next round! Up next is Szeth vs. Wax!
  14. Vin, last years champion, has been defeated! In the next fight, Taravangian will fight Adolin Kholin!
  15. Kaladin will move on to the next round! In the first fight of the quarterfinals, Marsh and Vin will fight one another!
  16. And Kelsier wins by a landslide! In the final fight of Round Two, Kaladin will take on Elend Venture!
  17. SO SORRY it took so long. I had two midterms that I had to study for two days in a row, time just got away from me. Anyways, Waxillium barely moves on to the next round! Up next is Kelsier vs. Nohadon!
  18. And Szeth barely pulls off the victory! Up next is Shallan vs. Wax!
  19. And Adolin Kholin beats his cousin Jasnah! And now Szeth, the Assassin in White, will fight Dalinar, the Blackthorn!
  20. I'm guessing enough people assumed he'd be a tank later on and decided to kill him off early. Hurt Mraize; heal WalDo 2. Khriss - 7 3. Nazh - 5 4. Galladon - 4 5. Demoux - 5 6. Baon - 5 7. Vasher - 6 8. Nightblood - 6 9. Mraize - 3 10. Iyatil - 7 11. Felt - 6 12. The Ire - 5 13. "WalDo" (the mystery Kandra worldhopper) - 6 14. The Nalthis Terriswoman - 5
  21. I remember Brandon said at JordanCon that there was a place where worldhopping was common knowledge. He clarifies that it was not a planet, but many worldhoppers have chosen to settle there. If I had to guess though, I'd also say it's on Threnody, seeing as how silver is super important there. Perhaps it could have been part of the Homeland?
  22. Taravangian is the winner! Up next is Adolin vs. Jasnah. Two Kholins from Roshar, fighting against one another!
  23. And Vin defeats Breeze to move on to the next round! Up next is Sazed vs. Taravangian, king of Kharbranth.
