  1. If you’re a runner venture, I would personally try and work out who of your faction isn’t yet in contact with anyone as the more communication between faction members the better and also there are likely some regulars out there who are really lonely as no one has decided to talk to them yet so they have to resort to spamming the GM’s with meaningless babble….#regularproblems Yeah I may fall into that category I know i’m inactive so prob not someone at the top of the list to talk to but I do tend to make an effort to be more active if PM’s are involved (just ask Lopen) but yeh... I know it's prob too late this cycle to put in a pm request, but just saying. any runners out there, I would totally love to be able to talk to anybody someday. Apart from Wilson and Kas. Who are great, but can't get any suspicions out of them you know... I think Stink also said that he was in contact with Shallan just before he died if that helps.(sorry for not saying much this time (I had decided that if I was only able to do one post per cycle, then I ought to make it a large one. but relatives being over has left me exhausted so sorry for the shorter post. I also feel like my run of late nights is taking a toll. I'll try do a bigger post tomorrow and maybe post my general thoughts on who I currently do/don't trust. idk ill see what happens.)
  2. Yeah, as i've said before, I'm sorry for my inactivity, its just I am struggling to find time to actually post. I've given some reasons previously as to why, although I haven't gone into too much detail. So yeah as I said I can only post from my mobile. “But Burnt, you should be able to go on via your phone at any time right?” Nope. I am currently only able to access the forums later in the evening (as in from 12 am to 2 am (and no you do not get to know why.)) so my posts are done in that time frame and by that point I am rather tired so i’ve only posted every second night as I am not staying up till 2 am every night just to post on the thread. I actually somewhat value my sleep (sometimes). I do have email notifications though so i can sorta keep up with the thread but when it comes to actively sitting down and posting, sorry that’s going to have to wait till when I’m half asleep (like now). And I'm sorry if I sound like I'm just coming up with a new excuse but I'm not. I legitimately have problems finding time to post and I also had relatives over yesterday which meant I couldn't even view the thread, let alone post. As for 'seeming like i'm normally more active than this' well, have you looked at how often I normally post each game? Still generally only one, maybe 2 posts per cycle. (pm activity is a different story) But still, you’re totally in your rights to call me out for inactivity. I have been inactive, so sorry for that. But just saying. I have previously stated reasons. So think of this post as a restating of them and these reasons will be active for the rest of the game. So yes, i’m not likely to be that much more active than I currently am for the remainder of the game. Haha, well perhaps having no opinion about my alignment is a good thing considering what happened in LG15 Better to stay neutral then be 100% wrong right? If you are interested, I also have little opinion about your alignment yet either. Also I had a thought about stink’s claims. What if he really is a runner, and is in contact with an assassin who has witnessed Aonar and Kipper target whoever the assassin followed. If then it was revealed that who was followed was actually attacked by diagramists (for example Haelbarde and Venture) then that would imply that whoever targeted the person followed was actually a diagramist (unless the person followed was targeted by multiple actions but still). So that's my current theory. ….Can assassins stalk dead players (stake out their grave or something) to find out if they are elsecalled?
  3. Well I've gotta say that I had a lot of fun with this game even though I expected to lose. Even though the WGG took a few cycles to set up it worked out well and I have to say that I was getting super excited when I got people trusting me and even role revealing to me (Clanky, I squeed so loud and happy danced when you told me you were elantrian- that was probably one of my happiest moments in the game). I did feel kinda bad for how much Lopen and Arraenae trusted me: Lopen was so trusting and so many trust group pms were made with me in them (though Lopen, our one on one pm was also one of my favorite parts of the gane-it was great chatting to you (even if half of it wasn't on topic)), and Arraenae didnt have a great time with her targets because she was taking my advice, so sorry to you two if you feel a bit betrayed but to be fair, its your fault for trusting me When I read through the dead doc it seemed like there were a few times where we got lucky and killed off someone who was about to post with accurate suspicions, so I think its partly because of that that the WGG worked and why I wasn't lynched earlier. But yes, this was a extremely fun game for me, so thank you Wyrm for running it.
  4. Hey guys, So once again, I apologise for my inactivity, but atm its a little more complicated than normal for me to post as I can only view and post from my mobile (which seems to be wanting to give up on me now… ) whereas previous games I've been able to frequently view the thread in multiple tabs so im rather un-used to having to use the mobile version and I'm not able to check the thread as often as I did previously. So yeah, there are IRL reasons behind my inactivity but I don't feel like going into all details. Just had a thought: I'm looking at this cycles non lynch kills and wondered why would have Haelbarde have been targeted by the diagramists? He hadn't exactly said much in thread, and from memory what he has said I didn't seem kill worthy. Adavantos being attacked by a cook isn't too surprising as he is an active and talkative player, but Hael wasn't. I wondered if then Hael may have been attacked due to a pm conversation but otherwise I don't know. Hmm… the day 1 diagramist kill targeted Venture who was reasonably inactive. While Hael hasn't exactly been the most active he has still posted a few times. Idk Thoughts anybody? I couldn't remember anyone else mentioning this so I thought I would bring it up.
  5. Sorry for not posting prior to this guys. I’ve been trying to keep up with the thread but I haven’t had time to post. Also, I’m going to have less time to post this game then I did in the LG so just a pre-warner. Anyway… So onto my thoughts so far. So, seeing as it is only day one, obviously it’s hard to build solid suspicions as there isn’t anything to go on apart from discussion, and then there are only a few players who are major contributors to conversation. So here are my opinions on some of the players (I'll try do more next cycle, but this will have to do for now): (The number next to the name signifies my trust/distrust level of them. 0 being 'neutral/no clue' positive numbers meaning trust (5 being the max and that I trust you a lot) and negative for distrust (-5 being minimum and that I'm almost certain you are an eliminator)) Hellscythe (-0.5): I really don't know. If anything, I'm just confused as to what you're doing. And my gut is telling me to be mildly suspicious of you. Idk, I'll look back through your posts tomorrow when I can. Adavantos(0.2): His summary posts are very useful whether you are trying to catch up on posts or need a quick refresher. I get that post summaries could fall into the category of trying to seem useful while not really helping but imo that's a lot of effort if you are just trying to be useful, and the summaries are useful. And anyway, ada is posting things other than the summaries, so I definitely don't find it suspicious. If I was going to try find a reason to be suspicious of him, I would be more interested in his other posts which are useful too. Mailliw (0): I applaud you on your excellent phishing skills. (Well… If I find out you use these skills out of games, I will mega frown and stop applauding. So… I applaud your use of phishing in context of this game.) What I like about how you did it is that any information gained from it is available to the public, rather than something secret that only you will gain information from. From what I've heard, this sort of thing is normal for you so it doesn't make you seem suspicious to me. Creccio (0.1): the thing is with creccio, is that I get the impression he keeps making innocent mistakes, not realising how they could be taken and gains a lot of negative attention really fast, as Lopen mentioned. I feel like that off creccio was a diagramist, they would have no need for codes asking for help: help can be received from fellow eliminators on their doc. Hrmph I was hoping to post thoughts on more of the players but I need sleep. Its 2am. Ill try complete/update it next cycle if I can. As for voting... I'm looking at the current vote tally and I don't know who I want to vote for. I'm not very suspicious of anyone yet, and between sart and stink I have no thoughts. Ada and Creccio I would probably rather then not being killed this early-creccio because of their bad runs (give creccio a chance guys) and Ada I think is the kind of player who is very useful for discussion, as I saw in the long game, so yeah. Otherwise idk. Since I'm undecided, I'm not going to vote. Once again, sorry for not posting sooner. I'll try post more next cycle (no guarantees though). And now I need to sleep. That is all for now.
  6. Here's the google doc with my character descriptions (also has some of one of my friends, but oh well.): Click here
  7. Since I agree that Lopen's idea is probably the best course of action, there's no point in hiding anymore. So yes, For the few of you who didn't already know, I am the kandra. If you don't believe me that I'm the kandra, just ask any confirmed player- I've been in contact with all of them. So yeah, any questions you want me to answer/opinions on particular players you want, fire away.
  8. Finding it a bit odd that Alvron was killed by the captain... Combine that with the message by the shift clock and I'm wondering if Wyrm is trying to get us to finish the game.... Just for clarification, Wyrm, was Alvron killed by a mistborn? And I'm assuming that Goron is either the elantrian, or he was protected by an elantrian right? Though... you would think there would be a bit more communication between the mistborn and elantrian if the latter was the case...
  9. Do you want just the description or the many thousand of words of backstory as well (I've got a google doc based on this one characters history.) or I could just link you to my google doc of character descriptions
  10. I spent some time looking into N2 concerning polking and checked to see if he was active anywhere else on the forums at that time. He has one post 11 November in the mr9 2x 13 nov mr9 14 nov mr9 and heirs to the final empire N2 was the 11 and 12th of November i think (bear in mind the dates might be different for other people because timezones are weird and I really need to sleep cause its 1:30am. ) So that would mean he was online around N2, but just didnt show up here, so I personally think it's plausible that he could have forged Alfa before he died. I'm not saying that I necessarily trust Alfa, but that the whole forgery buisines could be entirely legit. I'm tired. Goodnight.
  11. tbh I've only yet read one Brandon Sanderson book yet (although I'm about to read my second) so... (I'm reading the books that will make me able to join in the reckoners rp on these forums ) I personally don't care what it is, I just wanna rp...
  12. Make an Rp for us! do it!!! (I made an rp a few years back which was going really well until some of the players were unable to do it any more and it died.... I've been pining for an rp to join for a few months now. I started rping 5-6 years ago so yeah....)
  13. Heh, I'm pretty sure it's Elbereth who's co-Gm'ing QF11, not Elkanah. Close but not quite the right person I'm mainly suspicious of Araris, for reasons I've previously specified but I don't have anything on him apart from the kandra voting on BB or Adavantos discussion (but I do have a gut feeling he's evil). Though I am finding him more suspicious now after him leading the lynch on PK. Also, just a heads up, I am going away for a short time so I will not be online (or at least, not able to post) for the second half of this cycle, and will not be back until near the very end of the night cycle. So if there's anything you want to ask me, do so soon and not later. I'll try and post something else before I go (or at least, a vote), but I do have a reasonable amount of stuff to get organised before I leave so no guarantees. 15. Elantrian- thank you very much for protecting me, I am in your debt To be fair, I have voted once- for Araris and my reasoning then was because I was more of the opinion that the traitors would have still tried to move the kandra scan away from BB in hopes that he might survive longer, and Araris put a kandra vote on Adavantos very soon after BB started collecting votes. I do acknowledged though that Araris does have some good points from his point of view, that it is equally as likely that the traitors may have tried to prolong BB's life by a small amount by getting him scanned, which would have probably resulted in BB not getting mistborned, but he still would have got lynched. I personally still think the traitors would have initially panic voted on Adavantos, trying to draw fire away from BB. Idk, we have different opinions on the matter, though I do feel like I am mildly tunnelling on Araris. One of us is bound to be right about the kandra vote though. Unless the traitors are trolls and none of them kandra voted... But I seriously doubt that's the case. I'm not going to vote for Araris today as well though, as I want to look into a few other things first. I know I haven't done that much voting this game, but I personally prefer to only really vote for people if I feel like I have enough solid evidence against them (or if my paranoia/gut feeling is particularly strong that evening) (and providing I don't actually just forget to vote....done that before...) Yeah sorry, I've been quite busy recently (I've only just now had enough time this cycle to sit down and type something meaningful) so hadn't got round to posting them in thread (though if anyone wants me to PM them to you in the night cycles too, I happy to do that too so you have them in a easier to find location). Here you go: Quicklinks: Pregame Day 1 Night 1 Day 2 Night 2 Day 3 Night 3 Day 4 Night 4 Day 5 Night 5 Also... can I just comment that earlier when I was posting the quick-links, someone brought up that it might be suspicious cause It could be just an attempt to seem useful, yet when I forget to post them, people complain at the lack of quick-links? Sure that may be fair but still. You call it suspicious when I post them but get annoyed when I don't
  16. Btw: here's the quick links if anyone wants to use them Ripple's posts that involved votes or her opinions on any player: Day 2: Voted for wilson, but retracted it later: At this point in time, I distrust Wilson not only because of this exchange, but because of his vote on Shallan yesterday. It seemed very much like the Ripple Effect all over again, or even the first day of MR8, where an eliminator was spared due to a last-minute lynch train instigated by an eliminator. Shallan probably didn't have much time to make any good analysis, so she did what she could, and got killed for it. The sudden vote on her doesn't seem right in my mind. If Day 1 lynches are supposed to promote discussion, how does killing someone at the very end of the cycle help? Day 3 vote: I told you so. Wilson. Night 3: Voted for a scan of BB: I think a scan of Bridge Boy would be helpful. I don't really have any major suspicions other than him yet, but I'm not sure how good it is to publicly vote who the Mistborn should kill. No one. Also speaks out against the mistborn kill: Just because the general consensus is to lynch them doesn't mean that they're an eliminator or that they deserve to die. Quite often, they're not guilty. By having a Mistborn vote, we simply make it easier for the Mistborn to be killed, which is one of the more valuable roles the village has. Day 4: Sorry, I haven't been able to post lately. I think Kipper's innocent, if only for the fact that he was ninja'd by Wilson. If the eliminators were trying to start a bandwagon on Shallan, they would likely coordinate who would post first. However, Alfa's response that he is "not a traitor" doesn't sound very comforting. This is in response to Alfa posting this: In response to the accusation before: "Well, I am not very active. In fact I am very inactive in the last time; with university and "Wheel of Time" I do not have exactly much time for the 17th Shard. Be it as it be, I only can assure you that i am not a traitor knowing exactly that is not much to say. I vote for Kipper, since the Shallan affair still seems suspicious for me." ____________________ So. Ripple really hasn't said too much- 24 posts during the game. She voted for Wilson and Alfa, and voted for BB's scan, and said she trusted Kipper. So yeah, I am quite confused as to why she was targeted. If Alfa is a traitor then I guess then that would make sense (but I would definately prefer him scanned before lynched because when if comes to hemalurgists- better safe than sorry), but if he's not evil, then I would say it would have to be something to do with PM's. Do we know if she talked to many people through PM's ? Edits: Formatting
  17. It does make it more likely, yes, but it's not a certainty; could've still been an innocent crew member who may have believed it was more useful to get rid of a less talkative player first, but yes, I do think it makes the feruchemist more suspicious. When I posted my thoughts on the Kandra tally, I was discussing where I thought a traitor was most likely to be- Some traitors may have tried to draw attention away from BB by voting for Adavantos right after BB began collecting votes, or some may have tried to hide in a bandwagon, attempting to make sure that it was definitely a crew member who got scanned. I wasn't actually that suspicious of you, if anything I would be more suspicious of Araris, Bort and Elkanah who I think voted for Adavantos soon after BB started gaining votes, it just happened that your name was in the regions I was examining. I also get that sometimes that when people vote, the intent is genuine but the timing can sometimes be unfortunate and can seem suspicious so I was expecting that some of the people I listed would fall into that category (as you are claiming was the case for you- would have voted for him anyway, but when you did, did a a time that made it seem like you're jumping on a bandwagon) Edit: Been thinking about it, and I'm going to put my vote on Araris who put his kandra vote on Adavantos very soon after BB started picking up votes, and then this cycle, I feel like you may have tried to draw attention away from that by saying it's more likely that the traitors would have voted for BB not Adavantos, and I find this suspicious. While I acknowledge that you do have a point that the traitors may have thought trying to prolong BB's life was a lost cause, he was still their forger so I do believe that some may have tried to protect him.
  18. I guess that's fair. BB had been under suspicion since day 1 so I guess it would make sense to just avoid defending him further as that would likely get anyone defending him put under suspicion. Even still, I think both of our points are valid and there could easily be traitors spread across both vote trains.
  19. My thoughts on the kandra vote: I agree that it seems likely that some traitors voted for Adavantos to be scanned, but I doubt too many of them would have- too obvious. So my thoughts are that if any did vote for Adavantos, then they would have more likely been the ones who voted for him after BB starting picking up the votes ( so BB (who we now know was a traitor so was trying to save his own skin), Araris, Adavantos, Bort and Elkanah) but a traitor could have also been lurking in the earlier votes on Adavantos but not the first few I don't think, but possibly some of the later ones when it could seem like you're hiding in a bandwagon (Kaid (well, we know he's good now),Arraenae and Queensteph) but I don't really know. I think that there would probably be only one other traitor in the vote count other than BB but likely not many more. Concerning Dow's program: It does seem likely that he would have been targeted because of his program which does imply a previous traitor could be a traitor again as Adavantos said. Although, is it the kind of thing that would be mentioned on spectator docs? Because there's some players this time who were spectators last time right? I just did a search of the thread and couldn't find it mentioned directly anywhere (although I could be just not looking in the right places), so if it was mentioned, I'm thinking doc's or PM's. But idk, it could have equally been just a random kill as Araris mentioned. Edit: Well, I do admit to having not actually really voted (apart from kandra/mistborn votes last night). The first cycle, I was just baffled that anyone could have enough information already to solidly attempt to lynch anyone. Cycle two I don't know why I didn't vote. I'll go back and reread the thread and come back if I remember why :/ Edit 2: Found out why. I was offline and sleeping for basically all of the discussion about Creccio (Yay for time-zones- Roll-over is at ~ 6am for me so I always miss a lot of the end discussion). And before hand I don't know if I had decided that I felt that any one person was more suspicious then the rest. Edit 3: Day 3 was the Wilson lynch. I had honestly planned to vote for her, but legitimately forgot as I had a reasonably busy day
  20. World Of Warcraft Is Constantly Active, Note The Brilliance. Even Little Indigo Eared Violets Enjoy It. Dude It Definitely Is Terrific. IVENEVERPLAYEDWOW
  21. I kinda want to see both Adavantos and Bridge Boy scanned but I feel that BB is more suspicious, whereas I feel like Adavantos is likely trustworthy so it is less of a risk to not scan him, so BB's getting my Kandra vote. As for the Mistborn kill, I did consider nominating BB, but decided on Honey Badger, who isn't contributing, so is less useful to us alive then a suspicious player (because information can sometimes still be gathered from a suspicious/confirmed evil player) but I'm willing to retract this vote if they do turn up and become active. Edit: colour and grammar
