Dele brushed a loose lock of hair behind her ear as she walked across the university grounds. For once, her notes were tucked away under her arm, rather than open and rustling in the breeze as she sped between classes. Today she was enjoying the weather. It felt peaceful; disconnected from student dramas, yet with the potential to be as chaotic. There was always some drama working up the students around her. Expulsions, and even deaths amongst the students who had complications with their lodging. And now… Someone had overheard a student discussing a topic that heavily implied that they were one of the filthy skindancers that were amidst them. The student in question wasn’t someone Dele had been observing. All she'd really noted about this Aodhan was that he had chosen to focus his studies into Naming. He seemed to be a quiet fellow. She hadn’t noticed him speaking very much while she had been at this university. Perhaps this was indeed because he was focusing his words on talking with his skindancer friends. She did not know. But it was something worth logging a complaint about. And so that is what she did. Aonar, Aonar.

Dele was very pleased with herself. For the first time since attending this university, she'd gone a month with no complaints! She was quite relieved to not have to be chastised by chancellor Varda again. She had a feeling that she would have been even more disapproving if Dele had taken another visit to the horns. But, her good behaviour wasn't helping her get elevated like she really wanted. It had been two months since she gained a rank… she was determined to succeed soon however. So she took a seat, opened a notebook, and began to write. Observations, examples, even began working on a new experiment. This one was at least more safe than the previous. Mildly. No fire at least. Maybe some shrapnel though. Hm. Shed need to fix up a rig to contain that. Unless she made it all out of plushies. Then nothing harmful would fly around right? Hm… plushies… she suddenly had a great idea and began to scribble down potential uses for plushies in exciting experiments. Not every possibility ended with the plushies demise. But a fair few. She really wanted to make plushie fireworks for example. Of course, the best ones would be saved for living in her room to keep her company when she studied. Dele paused her scribblings to look across her room at the large plushie in the darker corner of her room and smiled at it. She'd named that one Niur. It had been with her for a long time and it was her favorite by far.

Interesting. There was no one going insane... randuir died tho. Could mean he may have cracked naturally and was also sabotaged? Or whoever put in the order forgot, it failed (on someone with protection, in horse and four, conflicting sd orders (last game the skin dancers put in conflicting orders once time and that failed it- but it was also mentioned in the write up subtleyish)) Hm. Lets see. Methods of death. Sabotaged while insane or expelled - i think could be likely as i said above Assassin - also a possibility Upgraded mommet -doubt it On the streets -dont think he was on the streets Naming - possible as a name was used. Btw, just a reminder that people should be reminded of. Given theres a linguist, namer and probably a second namer (if aonar is indeed naming, somone else was elevated before him in naming), that means there are potentially 3 pm spies out there. Not guarranteed. We dont know what stinks got, and namers wont necessaeily use wind to pm spy. But still. Pm spying is a thing. People use pm saftey. Just be mindful that someone might be reading your pms without you knowing. Its a current possibility. -- Dele sighed. As entertaining as her mishief was, she likely shouldnt keep it up. Brought on the horns two months in a row... she was getting too comfortable. Her studying was getting lazy. Studying was why she had come here but... messing around was such fun! Pranks... explosives... Fires in general... it was a different tiype of learning. Learning about consequence. Learning about general awaeness and safety. Learning about experimentation. Although she called it learning, it was more of a justification for misbehaviour. She didnt think she'd stop playong around, but perhaps she'd at least be more careful. She only had so much nahlrout, and a monthly lashing would kill her supplies fast. She smiled. The cost of nahlrout was worth it if she got priceless reaction out of people. So she resolved that whenever she misbehaved, she would be sure to make sure it was worth having to buy more nahlrout.

Eyyup. And without worrying about tuition fees, id have even more money to throw around. And id have a excellent reason to just chill in pms like the old days and not have to post. It honestly sounds like more my type of thing

I like being passive. Im a very passivey person. I also sometimes cant be bothered thinking. Randuir proved to be thinking at the time so got him to think for me also it was probably late. Okay fair enough Still think its a bit trigger happy that just cause i bought a item thats useful to the holder regardless of alignment that i should be expelled. But sure. Expell me. Leave me as a vintish chilling in the imre. I believe expelled students can still buy everything. Im probably more useful there anyways. Anyways. Im exhausted (yes its only 5pm but i had my first student teacher placement today so im quite drained) so imma nap. I'll be back in a few hours. If people want to lynch me so be it. I wont counter vote unless people decide that vote spreading is what they want to do. Why? Dont have suspicions other than annoyance at being voted for again. Hey maybe if im expelled i will buy bloodless and bodyguards instead! Why not! Stockpile it all! Dont that sound fun?

I did infact buy a gram. And nahlrot. So i aint lashed either. And failed at my talent pipes. Not that i needed more money. So why did i get a gram? Cause paranoia? Cause stopping anyone else getting one? And cause i could? Why am i paranoid? (When arent i paranoid). Cause i fully expected a vintish to be eliminated somehow early on. And i was fully justified in this. Mage was a vintish and just got sabotaged. And then when i put in orders to buy a gram, i was currently at a potential expulsion risk. A sabotaged expelled student insta dies. Soo. Woulda been a good opportunity to be sabotaged imo. Sure i could have gotten a bodyguard. But. Why get a bodyguard when i can afford a gram? Same with bloodless. Why get bloodless when i can afford a gram? Grams arent a limitless resource and i could afford one. Id be a idiot to not get one tbh. If i were a skindancer, why would i leave it there for a villager to get it? If i were a villager why would i leave it there for a skindancer to get it? Also. I see a lot of "oh noes burnt wont be on to respond" Im australian. Its 4pm. Rollover is somehing like. 2 or 3ish am.

It seems such a pittiful vengenge but if you're offering ill take it as the payback im honestly not that bothered bout the lashing heh. Is only for one turn. Sad that i dont get to try out my shiney new ability straight away tho.

What a familiar sounding rant heheh... (dat was me last game) Yea. People, there were good reasons we said to be careful with the edemas. Not only cant they afford being voted for, they rage like a prodded bear. Votes on edemas should never be a throwaway vote. Have a very good reason to do so. Only vote from suspicion. Unless of course they get pipes and then they can afford the votes easy. But until then. Yea. Just be cautious. If hael had gotten brought on the horns. Methinks he would have completely exploded and rampaged hehe. Last game though, i will note, it became pretty unheard of to vote for a edema after my very similar rant. But later in the game, if you're suspicious of them, then dont be afraid to vote for them. Just be reasonable. Acknowledge that you could be costing them ther tuition and/or lodging. But for now... no. Toooo early for edemas being pestered. Edema is a really tough class to have. Trust me. If you arent an edema, you have it easy. Just bemindful of this

Ah. I think its still random. The rules doc says the distribution will be random, based on students who have at least one complaint filed against them. So id assume the amount of complaints doesnt affect the dp distribution. But still worth a gm confirmation i think.

Sounds good. Ill vote for Darkness Ascendant to spread the dp. And for Aman since he's also somewhat dropping out. No i dont need reductions. But id also like to not be expelled. I'm watching you alv *suspicious glare*. Only reason i aint voting for you is cause i dont need more consequesesss. Also Randiur, the dp isnt spread 'evenly' i didnt think. Its randomly distruibuted isnt it? Just more people to choose from is a lower risk. Might have 10 options out there, and one could still get the wrath of all and be expelled. And every 2 votes=1 DP. So 30 votes on DA would give him 15DP and a 65% chance of expulsion

Dele was pleased with herself. She'd returned to her room to finish reading a book she'd picked up during the day after a long day of note taking and general research. For once, this book was not study related. It was but a novel. A book to read that wasnt for intellectual gain. And it was a long one too! She likely wouldn't sleep till it was done, as was her way. After this book, she had a pile of historical records for her to flick through. And then after that, she would work on her analysis of the students. She'd started assigning percentages to each student, however there were still too many neutrals for ther liking. And the percentages that deviated from the 50% barely did so. But it was a start. But for now, she had a book to read! -- Ah lodging orders and the mercs on the street. Brings back memories heh... seriously, in lg18, they were more deadly than the poor skindancers. By far. >> Heh. Dont worry bout it i can afford it if i get the tuition penalty. Rather me than someone who cant. (As long as its not too often heh I dont need the tuition reduction, but should i just vote on someone anyways to help the dp spread or are there enough options as it is for now?

Once Dele was satisfied her coughs were done, she neatened her papers and books and looked around. As she began to walk off, another student walked by her, almost colliding into her. Watch it you fool. she muttered under her breath. She smiled somewhat pleasantly instead at him however. “Ahh, Balthazar...Myrrh?” She said, her eye twitching as she fumbled with the pronunciation of his last name. She clicked her fingers to the syllables of his name as she did so to help her focus on the words. Her research involved knowing about who the other students around her would be, and she recognised his face from one of her many notations. She wondered about this name though, and flipped through her notes to find her page on him. As she did so, she vaguely noted him asking after her own name. “Dele Farjo.” Her voice was quiet and distracted. Where was that page…. Her fingers tapped the back of her notebook furiously as she searched. Aha. There. Balthazar Myrrh… mhm…. Ok...yep...interesting. Huh? What's this? There was a note in that file with a sticky note on it saying to give it to him if she ran into him. Hm. Okay. i likely should have memorised its contents. Ah well. She shoved it at him. “Anyway, here”. She flicked back to the page she’d originally been on, and noted the time, so hurried off before he could respond.

Only thing with a no vote cycle, someone could come in last minute and put a vote on someone. If only one person is voted on they would probably end up being expelled from memory. And that doesnt sound like a good thing to happen early on.

Oh and ill just note pk, DA said earlier he wouldnt be able to be active. So he probably wont be able to respond potentially. Oh. And um. I hadnt been reading peoples rp. Just did so. Urm. Sorry Hael Everyone, Hael isnt just rping. He is doing all his discussion in rp. He has brought up many things and a number of us, including myself, have gone on to remention afterwards, not realising hes already said it xD which is fine, but im gathering im not the only one to have overlooked this so i just thought id say that heh. So just fyi, his rp is something that you should read for on topic discussion.

Dele walked briskly across the university grounds, nose burried in a notebook that she was scribbling furiously in, muttering relavations and annoyances to herself. She had classes to attend. She wasnt one to waste time when it came to her learning. She was however careful to avoid any muddy puddles. It would be horrific if any dirt got on her premium quality notebooks. She paused her stride as she exploded in a bout of coughs. This cursed illness she'd picked up was extremely inconvenient. Its hard to concentrate on learning when your lungs are forgetting how to breathe like a normal person. She let out an annoyed hmph. It would be gone soon. Likely sooner if she allowed herself to sleep at normal hours. But sleep was a mere waste of time. --- Hey guys. As i said pregame, i dont know how active ill be, but atm i am sick so my activity for the time being wont be great at all. I'll try keep up with thread tho. Mention me and I'll do my best to get back to you when i can. For the time being, time to start my percentage list heh. (I like to give every player a percentage that i feel matches what i feel about their allignment). Ah voting. My least favorite thing to do. Yayy. I will note though (dunno if this has been mentioned yet). People, be very very careful about voting for the Edemas. If they get a consequence, it could mean a inebility to pay tuition and a completey wasted turn. I know from experience in the last game (i was edema in lg18) that its incredibly frustrating to be suddenly too poor for the tuition you very carefully budgetted for because someone poke voted and didnt retract. So if you need to vote for a edema, sure do what you want. Just be considerate that life as a edema is very hard. So if your voting just for voting, maybe vote for someone who can afford it. I guess like someone like me. Please dont, but. It would affect me less than say, Hael.
