Well he can feed an army pretty well if he just keeps pulling them out. Love how he takes it in his stride.

id probably work out her personality, and who she would like and dislike. But sure, an intro post of her where she recalls being attacked by rioters (if she was one of the Epics corralling them) earlier and then escorted them home and is just returning, would work fine. Or anything like that. As long as it fits what has been seen by other characters and all, its fine

@Coma: fair enough, that all makes sense hmmm that is true, and I haven't decided if I want iconoclast to survive yet. I'm leaning no, but it all depends. wow that is cool! Go Brandon! and you know, perhaps lots of our "unique" powers might have duplicates in other epics elsewhere anywhere on earth. that is also awesome hahaha

i don't think our wealth or military would help much, but what country is going to be slightly more able to kill Epics before collapsing? Australia or, say, Somalia? That's all i meant. i think it would help, but not a great amount. In Steelheart it was mentioned that the US government still held sway in a few small areas, barely. If they can do it while in a densely populated nation (and thus surrounded by Epics), then Australia could do it by pulling back to Darwin or Western Australia, where there are much less Epics to kill. The east coast would be screwed of course, but few Epics would bother crossing the huge desert in the middle unless they can fly. I'm not saying that Australia is fine and dandy and has its epic population under control, but looking at all these factors they should be at least a bit better off than the FSA, although still an Epic-ridden, post-apocalyptic wasteland.

well when euphoria was kidnapped Rainmaker stopped letting people in or out, didnt she? and if Corvallis falls before the other RP's start, then they have no reason to mention it. Another dead city. And it isn't like other cities are mentioned much in each thread. that's what i think, the news wouldn't escape until the force field goes down. And even then, why would they bother mentioning it? Its just another epic-ruled city to them. not if it doesn't go up until the city has basically fallen. Then they certainly would hear of it, but might not care enough to mention.
-
Hmmm that presents quite the dilemma. That means we can't move it faster than the other threads at all, nd they would all have to stay at the same pace (which works for the other threads, but maybe not for C

I'm not an Epic, but if I was, that sort of guy is the last one I would want in my city haha. Not only does he not submit to my domination, but he could ferment resistance against me with his contracts easily. Trouble would be how to get rid of the bugger....

and also, upvote for Miss Isle hahaha

Depends how she views her power- if she has mastered it, full-on Cyclops glasses that can "turn off" her power wouldn't really be necessary. But if it is a constant annoyance from her perspective, then it would be strange that she hasn't figured out a way to stop them.

oh no, I meant Iconoclast. He keeps pieces of himself around all the time so he can regenerate from them, but random limbs tend to decay/get eaten relatively quickly, so they are usually only in his vicinity. So a nuke would likely get all of them, and with nowhere to regenerate from he would be gone for good. The precedent is of ignoring perception, for weaknesses at least. whatever the reality is, that is what happens. Of course, there are not iron-clad rules, so if you want to clarify that shades don't count for her, then that is that. Your call.
-
I'm sort of picturing him flying around, bouncing off people with a kick or a stab like some giant version of human pinball
-
Pretty much. And considering China has nukes, they probably used them to try to get rid of as many Epics as possible, probably wiping out a number of cities. Beijing and Shanghai probably aren't there anymore, sadly.

A way he could get around it is by having a camera attachment to a pair of shades that records what he sees and plays it on the inside of the shades, with a 0.001 second lag. That way, he isn't "looking" at any object in particular (since if he watched a video it isn't like he would be pulled towards the objects in the video) but he can still see. Although he might just be pulled towards the shades, although one could argue he isn't "looking" at them, but at the images on the inside of them.

Sounds like a right pain in the chull power to have at times haha I assume he/she always hovers, at least a few inches off of the ground, so that they actually move towards what they are looking at?
-
What a fascinating and trippy power Lots of creative things you could do with that. Does this pulling force occur at all times? Can Bee change how fast/slow he moves? About Corvallis: I'm thinking we should move it back in time a bit, so that it is a few weeks or so behind the other cities. Given the slow pace that we want for the growing chaos, we would perhaps be held back by other, more action-packed threads that move more slowly. For instance, Iconoclast's ghouls aren't going to reach critical mass of chaos-causing for at least a week. Heck, probably the only thing he will do tomorrow is go to a few places and turn some people at each location, to test government response times and such. And the rebellion will need some time to ferment and grow, they don't happen over night. I know we could technically go past the other threads, but I'm not sure how willing we are to do that. Thoughts?

Men can fulfill any role at all except they cannot be part of the ruling circle, the Queens.

Australia doesn't have nukes, but certainly China, Russia, most nuclear states probably would have tried at least once. Well its more about numbers- if you have isolated tribes around, with small populations, they aren't going to get many Epics, maybe less than 1 per tribe on average. If one particular tribe doesn't have any contact with anyone else, and they don't manifest any Epics, then they wouldn't have any idea what is happening, other than seeing Calamity. That said, there probably aren't many of those.

also, what happened to what happened in Calamityville? seems like it just stopped with no warning, did you guys run out of inspiration fro the characters or something?
-
haha I'm noting lots that became characters haha XD like Impact and MV
-
Ah cool Can I add to it?
-
@Voidus: I'd be intrigued to read through that list, actually. We should make a database of Epic ideas, that would be cool.

Would an Epic child have a weakness? Would powers manifest at birth, or do they wait for traumas to activate their powers and then that is their weakness? Do they share their parent's power/s? Would two Epics mating create a child with a mix/match or all the powers of both? Questions.....

damnation my reply got eaten

hmm that is a fair point. She can't really threaten him, as he can just teleport away no matter what she does. Would she allow someone this powerful to even live in her city, though, someone who could trick her Queens and Epics against her? Meh, its Comatose's call, ultimately Welcome aboard! Need a rundown of the city? What character did you have in mind?
