  1. Hurt Taldain, Heal Roshar 3. First of the Sun--8 5. Roshar--22 6. Scadrial--16 8. Taldain--9
  2. I agree with Twi for the Slytherin ones. As a Slytherin with a strong Ravenclaw secondary myself, I feel like a lot of Slytherins are misrepresented, and I would have categorized a lot more characters in Slytherin, but I tried to remain unbiased and attempted to make sure each house got good representation. (I may have failed with Hufflepuff, but I did try). Also I love the ideas of Shards being teachers, but I am not as familiar with the Shards as some people here, so I'm not going to try and categorize them.
  3. I cannot believe I forgot Warbreaker. I agree with all of that especially Lightsong. And I think Siri might be Hufflepuff too, but I'm not sure either.
  4. SO I don't know if this has been done yet, but me and my cousin were arguing about Hogwart houses (don't ask) and somehow we got into sorting different cosmere characters into Hogwart houses. A few of my opinions, feel free to disagree: WOK Characters: Kaladin: Gryffindor or Hufflepuff (on account of his loyalty and his hard working qualities) Shallan: Slytherin or Ravenclaw Dallinar: Gryffindor all the way Adolin: Like father, like son Renarin: Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff Mistborn Characters: Vin: I honestly don't know. Kelsier: So Slytherin it's not even funny. Marsh: Ravenclaw Breeze: SLYTHERINNN Ham: Ravenclaw, probably Mistborn 2.0 (I don't know what else to call the Wax and Wayne series) characters: Wax: Gryffindor, I think. Maybe not. Eh, I don't know Wayne: Hufflepuff or Slytherin Marasi: Gryffindor mixed Ravenclaw Steris: I really don't know for her... Elantris: Hrathen: Ravenclaw or Slytherin or Gryffindor or Hufflepuff. In short, I don't know. Sarene: Slytherin (on accoutn of her ambition. And excessive knowledge on how to manipulate people) Raoden: Gryffindor or Hufflepuff I am really tired and I can't think of anymore character sorting of the top of my head so yeah. What do you guys think?
  5. My friend isn't going to read any of the books just because she wants to annoy my cousin (who she hates). It's driving me nuts!
  6. When you are reading the Odessy and it says "storming Zeus" and you literally have to sit there and wonder why that particular character was swearing at Zeus.
  7. Snow can cause seriously bad sunburns. They probably have really dark skin because over time, their skin got darker and darker. Or thats just how they started. I don't know.
  8. Chasmfiend. I'd probably die, but at least I'm small(ish) and quick. There's a chance I could last a minute. Maybe. Would you rather be trapped in a chull's mind for the rest of your natural life, or in a bridge crew only to die two weeks later?
  9. Definitely Oculator, I've got contacts.
  10. Well, he's made it this far, so we can just assume the latter.
  11. This is my new favorite thing.
  12. Thanks, but no. I love to write, but I'm afraid I am quite terrible at it, and I don't even want to try fanfiction, particularly when it's with such amazing characters. Talk about a daunting task!
  13. Someone should really turn this into a fan fiction. Please? Anyone?
  14. Wow, this is amazing art! I love the whole dragon part of it. My favorite is probably the Hoid one. And yes, now I want to join Flight Rising.
  15. Yeah, thats what I was thinking as I wrote it.
  16. SO. I wrote this Mistborn poem that I am RIDICULOUSLY proud of, and I had to share it with you. Plus, it means that if any of you guys have any poems that are Cosmere related, or may seem Cosmere related, then you can put them here. Also, I'm sorry if my poem is horrible and turns your eyes into smoke and kills you, but really I wouldn't be sorry for that because that would mean that I made something that is the equivalent of a Shardblade, and that would just be awesome. Some big-ish spoilers. The first stanza is the first book, the second is the second book, and so on. It's called... Mistborn Poem (I know, so original, right?) Living in this world of red, Being different is a crime. And in this land of darkness, We are running out of time. We never thought that freedom, Could be worse than what we knew. But no one saw the difference, They saw nothing they could do. A good king that was tyrant, A woman who killed a fraud. A broken hearted scholar, Who once became a god.
  17. When your english teacher introduces 'serene' as a vocab word and you realise that whenever you see it on paper your mind automatically goes to Elantris rather then "calm or peaceful". Yeah, I'm so glad that I didn't have to say the definition in front of her. This is how I imagine it would go: Her: Echo, give me the definition of serene. Me: Er... an insanely awesome and genius Teoish princess who falls in love with a practically undead prince? Her: *backs away slowly *
  18. I don't think I would actually want to be chosen. I love the mounting feeling of panic and excitement as the release date slowly crawls closer and closer, even though I may complain (a lot!) about it.
  19. Echo looked up, mildly confused. What was all the chaos about? She shrugged and was about to go back to reading when she felt her book-senses tingle. She sniffed the air, then licked her finger and held it in the air. Can it... can it be? It is! The 25th anniversary edition of Elantris! She had to get it! She just about stood up, then reconsidered. "Everyone else seems to have this covered..." She muttered to herself. Then she sat down and continued reading. Suspiciously, she never seemed to get any further into it. That, or it was so big that it seemed as though she never got any further.
  20. You know you're a sanderfan when you're on 17th Shard. At school. In the middle of class. Ah, the last days of school. I love it how the teachers don't care about what you do. Also, for the record, I am done with everything I needed to do in class, so the teacher is letting us 'waste time'... not that being on 17th Shard is wasting time, of course.
  21. Keep your safehand covered.
  22. Is this to recommend books? In that case, The Skinjacker Trilogy and I am Not a Serial Killer. Both are darker stories, and they have really good wrap-ups, plus I am Not a Serial Killer definitely has some good foreshadowing.
  23. Echo looks up from her well-read book and is astounded to find that all the walls are now bookcases, or rather, covered in bookcases. She grins at all the books and starts to get up, but then, realizing that she doesn't know if borrowing some is allowed, she sits back down and continues to read, ignoring everyone else.
  24. Echo slipped in through the doorway and stopped in front of mistrunner. She looked down and muttered, "Books before friends 17th Shard before the real world Release dates before birthdays" She was very clearly uncomfortable in the middle of the room, and so she hastily finished and said, "I will read that which has not been read I will stay silent amongst many words I will enjoy without being upvoted." Echo slunk into an unoccupied corner and sat down to wait, face burning. She had stumbled on the first couple of words. Fortunately, hardly anybody had noticed her in the first place, just like she wanted.
