Or would you say that what Adolin did was maybe a little bit darker? A: I would say that what Adolin did was less dark, personally. I would say that what Adolin did was something that needed to be done, that no one else was capable of doing. Q: Will it have any ramifications for him down the line? With how it was handled? A: Oh, there are definitely ramifications. How it's handled, there's lots of ramifications. And there are certain characters who would think that what he did is totally, totally, totally wrong. I of course read into this to mean Darkness would think it totally, totally, totally wrong

I believe that Darkness giving up now that the Radiants are back and he's too late does have it's merits but I think it is gonna be part of the story - no way of knowing I also believe him going after Shallan or Adolin is gonna stir it up lots of good story stuffs either way but on futher reflection I believe that Adolin is next i think Shallan is too far along - I believe Shallan or Kal will have to save him from Darkness/Szeth and that will put Radiant against Radiant + as for the Eshonai / Venli thing Venli has been corrupted - perhaps she has changed to Stormform before - doesn't matter she manipulated her sister Eshonai was willing to have peace until she took the new form - because their numbers were dwindling and they would eventually lose Stormform corrupted her and made her fight but I believe Venli tricked her not just to fight but to release the Everstorm

first we are to think they are benevolent then that they may be less than benevolent i get the feel that it is more like a Captain Kirk thing he has the prime directive to not interfere - never follows it maybe someone is just trying to get them up to speed in the Cosmere what opportunities ? why involve the natives at all ?

that would imply the ship is just out and about like the Enterprise and there are a # of people on board with a hidden agenda ? I'm thinking they are there more along the lines of research into what's behind the magic / Cosmere - choosing an identified / known to be invested planet not sure if there are 500 / 50 / 5 people on board I am not denying it could be for military advantage - profit I doubt personally

@ Spencer -- not sure just for the resources - unless by resources you mean Cosmere related resources then maybe either way I think it is for research - for understanding the Cosmere and of course I may be and probably am completely and utterly wrong - we are talking about Sanderson

@ Redbird - i've read everything Cosmere minus Dragonsteel and Forests of Hell ..multiple times - including WS and Aether I just reread WoR but am having difficulty remembering if he had a warrant for Ym ... also maybe Jasnah and Elhokar

It seems like they are going to at least 1 shardworld - implying they are not totally in the dark about the Cosmere maybe they are trying to sort more things out and don't know everything yet for some reason i think of Nazh and Khriss and Threnody

Darkness is running around taking out (or trying to) those that are preRadiant and have been bad So, I can think of 2 people we know that may fit that bill 1) Shallan - although she's Radiant has commited sin / been bad 2) Adolin - i believe he is on his way to being Radiant and has added himself to Darkness's hit list

I was thinking about a post I recently made about the Ones above from Sixth of Dusk there is a line on page 100 that says there is more than one group coming from the stars i speculated about them being our old familiar groups in the future (17th shard or Ghostbloods or...) But -- something i think we missed that may be important in the Cosmere Why oh why do they need a ship if we know some people can worldhop who can't ??? or why do they use ships ???

upvote WindrunnerRadiant - i appreciate your arguments - but as i stated previously ..still not convinced ..almost though. Definite merit to what you wrote. However i feel like we are missing something and i'm betting we don't know everything yet to figure it out. I am beginning to think of him as a Zombieblade

WoB from theoryland WoT (#22) : Nightblood is a very unique kind of Shardblade, but IS a Shardblade. are we saying that Brandon saying he is a Shardblade is technically correct ? because it is a piece of a shard ? but not a Shardblade since those are from Roshar ....? i can't remeber what thread i read that Brandon was reading QBL / mysticism ...sorry (10 is a number in the Qabalah / 10 sephiroth etc ...) and quite frankly i am not great at the searching this site thing - seems hit or miss searching sometimes asked for advice on searching in Intro Yourself section when i said hi .....

sounds like Qabalah - different "worlds" (Jewish / Arabic mystism) Atziluth - the world of emanation or nearness Briah - the world of creation Yetzirah - the world of formation Assiah - the world of making yes i know there are 4 worlds in the QBL but it does fit ... Atziluth is the life / light coming from creator / the emanation then Briah the archetype world - Brandon's cognitive - idea / ideal form - how the emanation begins transformation Yetzirah - archetypes form into ideas - what they would become in our world / imagined to be - Brandon's spiritual and finally Assiah - the world of action / manifestation - what has become in our world - Brandon's physical the Lightning strike / sword is the path from Archetype to manifestation the snake in the tree climbs back up to the Archetype from the physical this allows for influence in both directions - through Yetzirah - Brandon's spiritual sometimes what a person believes rules / sometimes the Archetype rules the slave brand / depression are Kal's thoughts / his spiritual view the lighteyes shardbearer thing seems to be more what the area/planet/era thinks as ideal/truth - at this time/era anyhow

possible world hopper - not sure if it's been kicked around before Ym from WoR - i believe may have been Mareshe from Elantris ? maybe not - may just be a red herring ..which he said he added... he's a cobbler - also knows about the cosmere - cosmere mentioned by name -- couple other little things too

thanks for all responses - i do understand where everyone is coming from - i just think there is more there and am not convinced differently yet
