  1. Well, my Argon is still a couple hours ahead of everyone else, so nothing important will happen with him for a while, he is also still about 10km from the city. Blaze, remember that Buttercup is supposed to receive a raport (around 2pm) about events at the checkpoint. Summer will get her post tomorrow, but she won't be involved in anything concerning other epics until the end of this day. I have plans for her, Argon and Drainer for their evening :>
  2. Well, it seems that the topic is no longer valid. Sorry for inconvenience. Everything works fine now. I think that wrong behavior was caused by fresh Windows 10 update. Maybe not everything was done yet. Please close/delete the topic.
  3. Well, if you have the gun pictured inside the spoiler and you don't have to stop to reload, you might be quite deadly, even for someone behind a concrete wall... And I doubt there are electron-compressed magazines for revolvers.
  4. Yeah, I figured that would work, but then, when I post this raw-edited post it is littered with [/size] tags and ... I'll try to give you more information on it when I'm back home.
  5. I agree, I'd love to see some mods from Europe/Asia that could stop those bots, as there seems to be no other way to manually fight them every day :/
  6. Hey, I had a strange problem while trying to edit one of my posts recently. I clicked 'edit', the editor popped inside the post like it should. The problem was that when I wanted to add a link, using this chain with a plus button the page got darker, but the little window where I would enter the link didn't appear. After that I couldn't get rid of the overlay, I had to refresh the page. This happened when I was browsing from my home computer, now that I'm in work everything works fine. So, the specs: Home computer (adding links not working): Windows 10, Chrome (newest version for this date) and Microsoft Egde, both not working properly. Work computer (everything is fine): Linux, Chrome 34.0
  7. Just this morning, while driving to work I had a thought that I should have posted your population estimations in my maps post, so yeah, I like it that you did it
  8. All I could think of after reading newest Iconoclast entry: I'll try to post something to Corvallis later today too
  9. I'll just leave it here for Twi...
  10. Don't take that cookie! It's not good for your spiritual health!
  11. Does that include Epic abilities? Or just like the knowledge of a foreign language or ability to do a kick-flip with a skateboard? Does it include knowledge or just muscle memory of how to do something? If this guy absorbs my ability to do a kick-flip can I still do a kick-flip? Does it work temporarily or permanently? Can he give those skill back or to someone else?
  12. Whoa, that's a hard question. It all depends on what type of tourist are you? 1. You are mostly interested in architecture, cities and museums. Go for Kraków or Wrocław. That have big old town areas, not destroyed by WW II, a very nice atmosphere and very good infrastructure for turists. Many restaurants, hotels, discos and each of them has an airport. If it's possible make sure to visit Wieliczka Salt Mine, it's on the Unesco world heritage list, it's AMAZING. 2. If you're more of a nature person there are three options. 2a. Mountains: City called Zakopane. It's THE place to go if you want to see Polish high mountains. It's located right next to Tatra National Park, and is a great place to stay. 2b. Lakes and forests: The whole region of Mazury (north-east of Poland). Mazury are a very popular place for people that enjoy sailing, kayaking, biking etc. The air is clean, water is not that cold and the whole region is well prepared for tourists. 2c. Sea. Well, Baltic Sea is neither worm nor clear, however Polish beaches are something that every Mediterranean country can envy us. With white, fine sand and a lot of space they are great for walking, sunbathing and for little kids to play in. You can full around and fall down a lot, and the sand will act like a cushion
  13. I too don't know what Bens are... The character is OK, since there is a river in town, he'll be able to use his powers quite freely. Will he have fish scales anywhere? 2000 liters is not THAT generous I guess... If I get it right that's a cuboid with dimensions: 2 meters x 1 meter x 1 meter... That's close to a huge bathtub really (2000 liters is 2000 cubic decimeters -> 20 dm x 10 dm x 10dm and 10dm is 1m) Also, can he make water fly in the air without contact with the ground?
  14. Well that is a very informal English, so I'll go with very informal Polish: Ancient Aliens to badziewna nauka, ale zajefajna telewizja! or, to have a bit more grammatically correct sentence: Ancient Aliens to badziewny dokument, ale zajefajny program rozrywkowy!
  15. THE MAP Here we have a map, created by players, depicting localisations of important places and events of the RP. The map will be continuously updated, as the stories move on. As we've established, authors don't have to treat the map too seriously, it was developed to simply help us avoid mistakes and misunderstandings. If you want to, you can demolish some buildings, build some others etc. After all the RP is taking place many years after Google provided us with this map Current list of cartographers: Mestiv, Mailiw73, Blaze1616, Comatose and mail-mi If you want to add something to the map or join as a cartographer feel free to contact one of us. Here is also a picture to help you visualize the size of the bubble surrounding Corvallis, as Google Maps don't provide a tool to draw circles.
  16. Do not take that cookie! I know your pain, I'm from Poland and after switching from Polish to English versions of the books I was at least a bit confused. Welcome to the forum!
  17. Just as everyone else said, don't be afraid, this is the nicest community I've seen on the internet But don't take the cookies, an up vote will be enough
  18. So I think we all agree that those maps are just guidelines and a tool to awoid some mistakes. Mailiw73, I'll add you tomorrow, just PM me your google email.
  19. Just do an easter egg layer those people that are too serious will just turn it off. I'll add the map to EE thread tomorrow, when I'll be in front of a computer. Don't want to do it on mobile, I'd mess something up
  20. Ancient Poland... well, there wasn't such thing as Poland till 960 A.D. when first rulers/dukes were mentioned in written text. Our first king was Mieszko I, he and Poland as a result were baptised in 966. After that the history of Polish Kingdom had it's up's and downs. It got divided into many little states and later reunited by Władysław I the Elbow-high. That squarish republic-thingy you are talking about was Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. It was a political and real union of Poland and Lithuania started by marriage of our queen Jadwiga Andegaweńska and Lithuanian ruler Władysław II Jagiełło. Jagiełło by this marriage agreed to be baptized and for whole Lithuania to be baptized. More about the Commonwealth can be found on wikipedia. This union was the key to the defeat of Teutonic Order that was causing troubles for both Poland and Lithuania. Thanks to this union the Commonwealth became one of the strongest countries of Europe, also known as Granary of Europe due to huge amounts of food exported to the west. If you are into history may I interest you in our famous Polish Hussars: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polish_hussars(or in a more comical description: http://www.badassoftheweek.com/hussars.html ) I think that Russia is trying to invade Ukraine while telling everyone that they are not invading Ukraine :/ What they did with Crimea was an outright aggression. In Poland we are very concerned about what Russia is currently doing, because of our very bad experiences regarding Soviets and Russians. Until 1989 we were part of Soviet Union and it looks like Putin may try to regain some of the USSR terrains under the excuse of "protecting russian minorities" :/
  21. Only a part of Albany is inside the bubble. Most of it is outside.
  22. Yes, I know that there is an option to allow everyone with a link to edit the map. However I don't know how safe it would be. I think I'll leave that decision to Twi and for now add everyone who wants to edit by their emails. So, for now I made a simple visualization of the bubble using my map graphic skillz
  23. Actually, that is the easier way to measure distance, since Google Maps have a ruler tool I think I'll go with multiple points connected with a line. I agree, one map for all threads would be good, with different layers for every area.
  24. Too bad that Google Maps don't have an option to draw a circle on those maps. But I'll figure something out to let everyone visually know where the 9 mile radius bubble ends.
