  1. I literally am just at that part, so I don't know if she shows up again or not, but. Who else thinks that's Khriss? Nazh is also on Scadrial at this time. He's the haunted man in the broadsheets.
  2. Brandon said that the aura of the BioChromatic Breath and Stormlight is very similar. They're two different magic systems, but essentially the same phenomenon. I also got confirmation from him that Nazh appears in the broadsheets that are scattered throughout the Bands of Mourning. And he's doing something very Nazh-ish.
  3. @moogle I'll ask this one: Is the color aura of an Awakener them ‘leaking’ Breath like a Surgebinder leaks Stormlight?
  4. I asked at the BYU signing Q: "What can you tell us about Vax, right now?" A: "...who?" He was acting pretty cagey. Q: "V-a-x. It was in the Elantris Ars Arcanum." A: "Not much." So, no info about Vax, but maybe someone else had more luck.
  5. Wait, so the only way that the Heralds were actually able to break free is because Braize was getting closer to Roshar? So, something about proximity allowed the Heralds to travel between the two planets when before they were trapped and tortured. Could this be something like the Aons and how they were most powerful near Elantris? Location based magic? Or is it that they pull their power from Honor/Cultivation and it's only their presence that allowed them to finally break free and travel to Roshar to warn and prepare for the Desolation of Odium's orbit's periapsis?
  6. The 3 Realms remind me more of Doctrine and Covenants 131:7-8 LDS belief is that there are at least 2 layers to the universe: spiritual and physical/temporal. The scriptural quote above shows that they are really made of the same thing, but discerned separately to mortals. We do not yet have the "eyes" to see. I'm interested in how this will play out in the cosmere. How close Realmatic existence is to this idea. Are the three realms really separate, or are they merely 3 ways of saying the same thing? Will any of our protagonists get to the place where they can observe/effect all 3 realms simultaneously? Cognitive shadows are the body-less spirits of those that have died. Some stay, some pass Beyond. Beyond seems to deviate from LDS thought as even heaven/hell is supposed to be a physical/spiritual place on the same plane of existence as us. Beyond seems to be a one-way door. You can enter, but there's not intermingling with the 3 Realms once you've gone in. It seems like his answer to The Last Question. Things don't just start over, they move on. Eternal progression.
