  1. It was directly stated in a conversation between Vin and TenSoon that kandra have genders (also said that he is male) but it is hard to distinguish.
  2. Gavil's Carriages?
  3. Just thought I'd point out that Ridger, the heir to the throne of Idris, is not on the family tree of Royals on our Coppermind page for Idris.
  4. When the movie "Mockingjay: Part 1" makes you angry because Peeta is unworthy of wearing a white suit.
  5. the Vanishers?
  6. I think you are right, his name is Nazh, and we know that he is not really an ardent and is probably a worldhopper. The only problem with that is that the kandra is known to be female, so she would probably be imitating a female as well. If Brandon has said that the kandra worldhopper is female then he probably wouldn't have her imitate a man.
  7. Definitely Vin. Words of Radiance Spoilers
  8. Amaram? or maybe Sadeas? Edit: Moash?
  9. I think that the broken pieces of pottery were just what the lerasium was encased in.
  10. By "Splinterworld" do you mean Shardworld? If so, this was talked about a little in Mistborn But that only gives us an explanation for worlds that have shards on them. Sentient life can exist on worlds without shards. Threnody (where Shadows for Silence takes place) is an example of this.
  11. It is said that the God King's colors are all of the colors because he is the king of their other gods. If you think about black form a color mixture perspective, then it makes perfect sense that they use black for him as when you mix all colors, black is the result.
  12. That might work, the only thing is that the kandra is a girl, I'm sure that they could imitate a guy but they probably wouldn't like it and I think that since Brandon has said that the kandra is female he probably wouldn't have it imitate a guy.
  13. You forgot Sadeas in the actually dead characters
  14. One of my favorite characters (Non BS) is Nico di Angelo from the Percy Jackson and the Olympians/Heroes of Olympus. Even though the series themselves are somewhat poorly written, Rick Riordan did a very good job of writing this character. It is absolutely amazing that, after everything this character has been through, he is still one of the good guys. He has the potential to be very very evil but he isn't. (I'm being vague so I don't give spoilers). My Favorite BS Characters Are: Lightsong- because he is funny and sacrifices himself not once, but twice and is protective of Siri even though most of the other Iridescent Tones believe her to be evil and manipulative. Vin-because she is just such a strong person and I don't think I could get across how incredibly amazing she is as a character
  15. If only it had been 16! when you realize the cheating potential you could achieve with copperminds
  16. Thats because of the situation they were in. They were trying to escape from Sadeas' warcamp so they were eager and it was also much better than doing bridge duty.
  17. Unwanted False Faith has a link to Lightsong but not Vin, who fits this trope much better... Also no link to Syl and Kaladin from Fairy Companion....... God--->The Wheel of Time--->Brandon Sanderson House of Broken Mirrors--->Stormlight Archive--->Brandon Sanderson And This is For--->The Wheel of Time--->Brandon Sanderson "The Reasons You Suck" Speech--->Elantris--->Brandon Sanderson World Building--->Brandon Sanderson Why is Kelsier not under Eccentric Mentor?????
  18. Is it the Elantrians trying to draw Aons without the chasm line?
  19. Actually I think Vasher is closer to 300 as Peacegiver began the line of God Kings and they have reigned over Hallandren for 300 years. Sidenote, I wholeheartedly support VasherxVivenna.
  20. When someone's username (not here) is Soon and you think of TenSoon. When this thread has 65 pages.
  21. But we know for a fact that Vasher is from Nalthis, not Roshar.
  22. I started a separate thread about this same thing not realizing that this was here and so I guess I'll post my theory about this here. My theory is that Shallan's memory taking and artistic ability comes from Cultivation because of this quote from TWOK: I really don't think it is a coincidence that Brandon specifically used the word cultivation to describe this. I think it was to hint that her skill has to do with Cultivation.
  23. So I read a Q&A the other day that said there was something special about Shallan's ability to "take" a memory and then use that memory to be able to recreate the scene perfectly later on. At first I thought there was nothing special about Shallan's artistic abilities other than her having a photographic memory and natural artistic skill, but then, in my reread of TWOK, I found this: Notice that Brandon used the word cultivated. I don't think it is a coincidence that he used this word and one of the shards on Roshar is called Cultivation. I think maybe Shallan's memory taking ability and artistic skill are somehow linked to Cultivation.
