    James falls into the "miserably allergic" category. I feel that it's not unreasonable for him to prefer not feeling sick all of the time. Besides, I'm pretty sure that our dog thinks she's a cat. ...I might be feeling a wee bit of an urge to photobomb y'all with nerdy wedding photos.

    I liked them OK when I was younger. Then I got to the point where I'd been a grown-up for about a decade and they all started wearing thin. I'm pretty 'meh' about most of them now. Bonus: only Polish people are capable of pronouncing them.

    He's a good one. He's such a good sport about the amount of time I spend on my crazy creative hobbies. Though in return, he gets a wife who shuns romcoms in favor of the latest nerd flick, so it's a win-win for us, really.

    Your mother is frightening and unpredictable. These are poor alpha qualities. Once a dog has settled into an alpha loyalty, they don't change it easily. Bruce knows whose dog he is.

    These are the lies of the brainweasels. Remember what he gets like when you're sad or upset? He clings to you. Remember what he does when your mother is mad? He pees on (her) things. I imagine he's just picking up on the fact that you're angry, but lacks the cognitive capacity to understand why or at whom. He's showing pretty reasonable submissive dog behavior - avoid the angry alpha until she's not angry anymore.

    I am tired and should probably head to bed. But...if I wait here in the computer room until James is out of the shower, he will almost certainly come in and give me backscritches.

    But what if the flames get out of control and start to spread? Chaos would never forgive me for allowing the code to be set on fire. Didn't notice. Too tired. Should go to bed, but haven't yet.

    I do indeed admit that Steris is awesome, but there are none who are so glorious as Our Lord and Drinkmaker Wayne.

    Seriously, though, he's not even all that comfortable around our own nieces - and they're his blood relatives. Though he does admit that they're starting to get old enough to be entertaining, he just doesn't relate to kids very well.

    Do you guys really want to give me an outlet to be all gooshy about my husband? I'm not sure y'all know what you're in for. (Seriously, we're at over 7 years together, and approaching 5 married, and we still annoy the crap out of our friends by being disgustingly adorable with each other.)

    Yeah. He doesn't hate the products, but he has moral qualms with the way the upper tier of the corporation runs things. Though...if they create an entire Star Wars and/or Marvel theme park, he's gonna have a fight on his hands. WANT.
