  1. Hoid destroying the existence of every single share so that there can neither be a vessel nor there can be any type of power.
  2. Someone asked me if reading The Sunlit Man is better if we read it before Wind and Truth. I would say that not only Sigzil grow in WaT but Szeth's highspren also undergoes certain transitions and become what they are in The Sunlit Man. So I think my final thought is to read WaT first Although I am only 50% complete in WaT
  3. I have to say that the novel is very badly written. I mean the writing is poor. Brandon tries to show but he fails constantly but he continues to try. Didn't he realize at the time of writing that he is getting failed at showing. You can't be at cognitive ease while deciphering what he is trying to show. Mark of bad writing. I guess he was in a rush and has made a rule to make these novels more than 1000 pages long
  4. I will tell you but I am a very slow reader reading a very long book. But I think reading wind and truth before is better. Sigzil is more fleshed out in this book in the 20-30% of it that I have read. You become more familiar with him in the heroic place where kaladin once was when Sigzil is the main character or should I say the hero of the sunlit man.
  5. I would like to know one thing. I have the habit of reading the last chapters of novels once I have completed 20-30% of them. That gave me an idea that Sigzil becomes Nomad in the sunlit man which I haven't read yet Could somebody tell me when the events of The Sunlit Man takes place after the ending of Wind and Truth?
  6. Thanks for the reply. Spoiling myself keeps me going through the boring parts of the book considering that good things will come later. But really, I wonder if there is any novel that doesn't use plot devices. That is one thing that has made reading novels boring for me after reading a good sum untill now.
  7. I want to know one thing although I have just started Wind and truth and I am 5% complete but I have read here that Dalinar killed stormfather. That comes as a surprise to me. Is that contrived in the book. Does that feel a plot device? Anyone replying to me can elaborate on that without caring about the spoilers because I usually spoil myself before reading any book
  8. Another question to ask Brandon Sanderson is how does Shedsmar has oxygen to breath everywhere that people can travel in between planets.
  9. How do we know that axindweth is a feruchemist?
  10. Finally completed this novel. I have got to say that if this novel was only of 500 pages it might have been enjoyable. All the talks of cosmere science in Navani's POV could have been reduced by a great length. Stress on Kaladin's mental state was repetitive.
  11. It is complete stupidity that Taranvengion didn't tell Dalinar about nightblood. How can Szeth find his way into Dalinar and Odium's vision? The only way it is not stupidity when Odium will know that Dalinar is carrying the sword in one the visions but Rayse took the risk of coming close to Taravingeion when he was close to the sword that means the best thing was to tell Dalinar and intelligent Tara didn't figure that out or he was stupid the whole time.
  12. I have a question. In chapter 94 someone, either Maya or Adolin said, "Strength before weakness". Who was the one who said that. It was Adolin or Maya?
  13. I guess Hoid's ultimate fate is to help splinter all the shards. There is nightblood now that can kill the vessel making it easier
  14. I have a question. I am on chapter 42 at the moment and I am wondering how Kaladin remained awake when all the Radiants fell when sibling was affected? Is this answered in the book?
  15. I am reading this book. And by reading about how people liked Kaladin's arc makes me read it when I get bored and somehow thinks that if this goes on I will give this book only two stars on goodreads I am on chapter 34 at the moment and I cannot help but think why shallan's and Kaladin's mindset is stretched to a degree that it feels that the same data is being recycled and feeded to us again and again
