I hope it wins as well and on seeing a sequel or companion novel to this sometime in the future.

I'm curious to know whether this ever came about after the initial sell-out. Since it's not offered on Brandon's site, I think not, but perhaps someone knows if Isaac created that unsigned, poster-style print.

Love, love, love this novella! It reminded me in some ways of Warbreaker ... but better! (Jeez! I can say that!) Yeah! I loved Emperor's Soul and hope to learn more of it in the future. Thanks, Brandon!

Yeah! Amazon said yesterday that it will ship to arrive between 10/16 and 10/18! I'm looking forward to every delivery to my home mail box in the next several days!

Geez! I placed this order 9/16/12, knowing that I wouldn't receive it till at least a couple of months later! Okay, whatever! All I have to say is that this novel better arrive on time! I'm on a reading schedule for the year!

I didn't get it free but that's okay. I was happy to pay the minimal fee for it. It was a mildly entertaining story. I so wish there was more to it!

I have to admit that I didn't really look at the cover art for the iTunes version of the book. (Neither have I seen the hardcover art.) Further, I had no idea that the character, Leeds, was even named; the protagonist, I assume. (I'm just not as clued in as either Kurkistan or Satsuoni, but I'm okay with this.) Perhaps with my desire to read something new and different from Brandon, I didn't pay any attention to the cover art (or lack thereof). Admittedly, I just wanted the book. Unfortunately, I don't see myself reading it until I complete the ebook I'm currently reading. Fortunately, I won't be reading this ebook any longer by the end of the week!

I look forward to learning more about Szeth as he remains somewhat a mystery still.. Readers have been provided specific glimpses of him in Interludes, but don't yet know his full history. I can hardly wait for the second installment in The Stormlight Archive to be released!

OMG! This is so cool! This is so exciting! (Okay, I'm a newbie here even though I joined a long time ago and was obviously distracted elsewhere.) Anyway, I'm still way into the prospects for a Mistborn movie and love what I've seen in this thread. I acknowledge that the nature of the trilogy renders it's transition to the silver screen difficult, but I don't believe it an impossible undertaking! I can so see the crew (although I can't imagine the actors) in the throes of all three novels. Let's just say, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this!

Can I just say that I'm immensely pleased that I'm not responding to a "skeleton" site tonight (as I did last night)? Thanks, guys!
