  1. Why doesn't Reader have his radio? He would have had it on his person when he got locked in the post office, and even though absolutely no one tried to contact him while he was gone, he'd still have it on his person. You know, I'm starting to doubt that the City Guard actually values Reader as the asset that he is. (Yes, he's a remarkably slontzy asset, but an asset nonetheless. )
  2. So, my question is, why hasn't anyone checked on Reader yet?
  3. So, basically, what we're all getting at is that we need BusDriver down in Portland ASAP?
  4. Would you like to join the conversation Kobold?
  5. I don't think it's possible to make Timeport's weakness fit there.
  6. You're not doing an Edgereader ship are you?
  7. But wait, I thought Timeport was the Master....Oh no. Does that mean every single one of our major slontzes is just another reincarnation of the Master?!
  8. Did you not see Reader use it?
  9. Blackhoof, I love Hellfire. I especially like that Valve makes portals.
  10. First Astoria post!
  11. "Fire." That was Metalmech's command. He let loose with each of the tanks, firing round after round towards the bloody woman as he moved them to surround her. It would be nearly impossible for her to dodge the attack. ...if she wasn't an Epic, that was. She blocked every shot with a wall of blood, then, when the wall of blood dropped, she was gone. "Teleporter," Metalmech grumbled. "Of course." He maneuvered the jeep away from Mary's blood tendrils, keeping it and the Commandos inside intact. Nothing happened for a brief second. Then, suddenly, a multitude of red tendrils rose from the pools of blood, headed for Desolation and Metalmech's precious vehicles. He tried shooting them down, but any projectiles just ripped through the blood, not hindering them at all. All Metalmech could do was keep his tanks moving and dodging. He brought his mobile up to his mouth and spoke to Jag. "Jag! How under Calamity's light are we supposed to defeat these things?!" The seas were always calm on the Captain's ship. Wandersail was at the helm, steering the boat with the help of Catchwind. She manned (well, womanned) the helm, and Catchwind helped her blow the wind into the sails. Calico told Wandersail where they were heading. Astoria, Wandersail thought. Dominion of the Diamond Queen. Interesting. She handed the wheel over to Catchwind and quickly looked up the coordiantes of the Astorian port. Navigation was easy when you always knew exactly where you were on the planet. Memorizing the coordinates, she took back the wheel and steered them in the direction of Astoria. This could be our biggest battle yet, she thought. And that meant their entrance had to be grand. Behind the ship, just inside of her range, but far enough away that it didn't effect the smooth sailing, she started to build up a storm. Their entrance was going to be grand, alright. As the winds grew stronger, Wandersail felt better and better. Using her powers always made her feel strong, feel empowered. Smiling, she steered the ship onwards toward Astoria.
  12. Who says they don't already have one?
  13. I like where this conversation is going.
  14. That is beautiful. Though I do wonder who that other Epic is.
  15. I'm not feeling very good about Reader's chances. Which is not a bad thing. Also: I'm glad to see that Timeport being eaten by a dinosaur is on par with my two other second most upvoted posts.
  16. Reader has made it to Doctor Game's clinic
  17. The trip back had been relatively uneventful. Humans-turned-pandas had been killed, identities had been checked at the border, and my sparking nose hurts like Calamity's cupcakes. Reader led Ozy and Frosty the Snowman--if he's going to give me a nickname like Goldilocks he better well be prepared to have one himself--through the Dalles to Doctor Game's clinic. Unfortunately, since Koshei, the Dalles hadn't had a real healer, so they had to make due with a vanilla doctor. Which meant it was going to take sparking forever to get Reader's nose fixed. He didn't speak on the way there, for fear of being hit or choked again. His neck was still sore from Frosty's cold grip. Insults ran through his head like mice towards cheese, and it took all his willpower not to spit them in Frosty's face. They reached Game's clinic quickly. "We're sthopping here first, because sthomeone decided it would be besth to break my face." He glared at Frosty, but was met only with a smirk. Biting his tongue, Reader pushed open the doors. And saw one person he had not expected to see. She hadn't seen him yet, but she definitely was seeing someone. The glittery Epic Shiny Sparkle next to her was busy rubbing her cheek against hers, and Reader could feel the affection radiating out of her. He smiled big, even though it hurt his nose. This is just too good. He walked up behind her. "Hey Autumn," he said deviously. "Introduthe me to your new fling."
  18. I have a question: Is (s)he pretending, or does (s)he actually believe she is an Epic? Either one would be awesome, but I'm curious.
  19. I'm okay with it. I told snoopy to go next, considering Reader's just on the ground whimpering, but since he's not here I'll get something up.
  20. Twi, that was beautiful. Absolutely, perfectly beautiful.
  21. Um...handwave it to Epic physics? Not at all
  22. That is true. No. All that is "Timeport" teleports 5 feet away from where he died and reforms itself after the five minutes.
