I'm, er, staying with Shiny Sparkle, per invasion regulations regarding Epic allies not employed by the City Guard." “Autumn!” Reader shouted before Autumn clicked off the radio. “Don’t forget to tell him about your feelingth for her!” Autumn let go of the talk button, glaring at Reader. He just smirked. Before she could say anything to him, however, a city guardsman appeared by her side. “Autumn, Captain Arnolds brought in a vanilla to be Read. We need you to go retrieve Reader from his office in the post--” Reader interrupted him, angry at him for not recognizing him. “Hello Robert. How are you? How are the kidth? How’th your--oh wait, I forgot. She’s dead.” Robert froze and turned to Reader. “Oh. You’re already out.” Wisely, he didn’t comment on Reader’s nose. “Yeth I am.” Reader looked over his shoulder, beginning to Read the vanilla. Just then, the doors burst open, and Edgerunner broke in, announcing to Autumn: “Autumn, do you wan--.” She looked at Reader, and grinned. “Well, that was easy. Reader Rabbit, did you hit yourself with your wine glass again? I told you to aim for your mouth, not your nose.” Reader Rabbit?! Reader snapped. “Ah, Edgerunner, back at the clinic I see. Did your meanie boyfriend hurt your face again? Oh wait, that'th right. You killed him.” Not allowing Edgerunner to respond, Reader continued. “Now, if you’d please step out of the way, I have a job to do.” He took a step toward the vanilla seated across the clinic. “Hello Brandon! Come on over here--don’t worry, the mean, angry lesbianth won’t hurt you. How’th your boyfriend Lewis? Does Taylor know how much you still mith him?”

Yeah, he'd gotten his radio taken. He was missing for the duration of the battle, I think.

Sounds good to me. It just didn't seem logical to me that no one cared. Well, no one does care about reader, but they care about his brain.

True. I suppose they could have taken it. But the City Guard should be much more concerned about Reader being gone than they currently are, because Reader kind of knows all the city's secrets.

All the pandas did was stuff Reader in a bag, then carry him under a flying pig, and then Frostfire "rescued" him.

Oh that's okay. We can handwave that they just didn't really care enough because they were being attacked by mutant pandas to check on him during the first part. IMO, you should just edit in Arsenal sending someone to contact Reader in his post, or Arsenal calling Reader through his radio. Because I think Reader does still have his radio.
