  1. Is he the reason for the holes in doughnuts?
  2. There's a really old tread on this already, if you want to see some others that have been done. For a while, I actually had one I wrote as my account's "status". http://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/567-keteks/
  3. I stand in defiance of you, as defender of the peaceful Nation of LLama. Come and stand with me, all who revere the great Mistborn LLama! Save these peaceful creatures from the evil Bard and his high-profile minions!
  4. IIRC, twinborn names aren't as concrete as misting/ferring names, with several variations on each. No reason why this wouldn't be an acceptable list in addition to the MAG list.
  5. The primary problem, as I see it, would be controlling the length of the blade, etc. The thinner the line the shorter the wall, so you'd need a really thin line to be much use in melee combat. I'd use lines of forbiddance as shelves. I also have been meaning to ask Brandon, if I get the chance, whether you could draw a chalkling top view of, say, a cart, and use the Glyph of Rending to allow it to carry you around on the floor.
  6. We are prepared for that eventuality:
  7. Broams, they are more useful to radiants. Be able to go up but not down, or down but not up?
  8. My favourite are the Mistborn Murder Sheep.
  9. Well, the concept was as an counterpoint to the US' bill of Rights, but if it were actually imposed (i.e. if I wrote a story), I would have to have it in some sort of low-government communist system, as counterintuitive as that sounds. Communism is amazing theoretically, but if you actually put it into effect you have to deal with power freaks who take over the government. Noncompliance would probably be punished by being forced to change your calling in life, and in extreme cases of political dissatisfaction, be relocated and reassigned a name, past, memories... It would be a combination of consensual anarchy and dystopian micromanagement.
  10. Exponents, especially powers of ten and two. Favourite made up word?
  11. That's what I always assumed. "School was still in session"
  12. You hate sports movies, but like things like "Stand and Deliver" and "Spare Parts".
  13. Where did the Banhammer idea come from?
  14. Read the Hitchikers' Guide to the Galaxy.
  15. Granted, you find the 17th shard, but Chaos' Banhammer *slips* at Nightwatcher's bidding. I wish for a porpoise, along with the means to take care of it.
  16. I agree, but some people don't. I felt that it gave her more character that way, just like how what made Vin appeal wasn't how strong she was or her underdog background, but the way she used her strength and, especially, how her background made her view the world so much differently than other people. Dear, blunt Vin, who was perfectly fine with telling people that she didn't like them [coughing fit]Allrianne[/coughing fit] and freaked out when she realized she had gone to sleep in Elends room, not for propriety's sake but for paranoia's.
  17. Only issue is it doesn't have his forehead brands.
  18. I did marching band for a year before the district cut our funding, so I was never able to again. Regret of a lifetime.
  19. Overcast, like in the B.C/Washington/Oregon area.
  20. No, I feel like I missed most things in middle school. Probably because I took a year off from it in eighth grade.
  21. Sorry, couldn't resist. In terms of actually liking the books, I have lost the linear spectrum most people think in, so I like Warbreaker and Mistborn more than eachother, in different parts of the spread... I think I like Warbreaker lefter than Mistborn. It works in my mind.
  22. It sounds like you have experience in that. Story?
  23. I feel like I missed something in middle school.
  24. Ruin. Has the most character. Favourite genre of music?
