Seconded. Though, you've to face the first 200 something pages of Gardens of the Moon. And for a better understanding, you've to read the side series too. I like this series as a long term project like Wheel of Time. By the way, I am now at book 8. Its nice, but 7th is better.

Try Malazan : Book of The Fallen. If it seems too much, then try Tigana by Guy Gavriel Kay. Then you may want to go to "The Lions of al-Rassan" by the same author. Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb. Book 2 is my favourite.

Does it really bend ?? Btw, I doubt if it can fit in my jeans. Btw, which one is better iPhone 4S or Moto G 2nd gen. ??
-
You can, if you don't mind take a break when you have finished book 4. Book 5 takes an entire different world. But somethings (I won't mention) will still be connected. Another downside is, Book 5 is one of the Best in the series. I compare it to DG. Otherwise, it is written in stone, that you can check out Malazan any time you like, but you can never leave.

RoT??

Elantris. It is better than Before They Are Hanged. But then I'm not a fan of Abercrombie. Before They Are Hanged will not go much farther.
-
Cooler than Silk. Really!!! Then I'll finish it and then read it.
-
Btw, can we consider Malazan dark?? Okay in MOI, they do terrible things to men, but Erikson is not so much into explaining them in detail.
-
Do you know where can I read the novels? I would absolutely love to do so, but since they are no longer on Baka-Tsuki, and are not available in my country, I can't read them

Well I am currently reading The Belgariad series by David Eddings. Amazing series, it is. The best thing in this series is Silk. Ah! He is such an awesome character. Does he appear in Malloreon???

I think he receives far too much criticism for his bad books. The critics probably forget that the good overshadows(or burns) the bad by 10:4 which is a good ratio.

Okay, here are some more. 1. Mushishi, and Mushishi:Zoku Shou (Mushishi Season 2) This anime does not have a storyline, or arc(s) thing. Each episode is totally different from its previous one. This is a more philosophically inclined anime, which emphasis that every living being struggles for its survival, and this sometimes leads to bad events. It has an exceptional music. The opening track is in English. Mushishi: Zoku Shou has the opening track by Lucy Rose (Shiver is the song). The ending track is different for each episode, and is awesome. The scenery included in the anime is worthy to be your desktop wallpaper. The only bad thing is that the characters are not that radically different in their faces. Maybe this is from the author trying to show us that not all humans are too attractive to fall in love (in first sight). 2. Samurai Champloo This anime is from the creator of Cowboy Bebop. It has samurai(as the name suggests) + elements of hip-hop. So one would see 19th century japanese engaging in rap battles, having tattoos, doing graffiti, playing baseball with Americans and thrashing them, and of course there is a lot of sword play too. Oh! I forgot to mention that there are zombies too, in one episode. The music is amazing. The opening track is one of my favourites. It is an English rap song done by japanese artists.

Now I am on Rome Total War with Europa Barbarorum mod. Ah! God it is AWESOME. Really try it. The battles, the management, and the best part is that the enemies of Rome are now given the strength they should have in original game. I played as Gauls (Adeui), and then as Seleucid Empire, but then again reverted to Gauls. The Adeui are too damnation awesome. -
Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn is a very nice trilogy, except for the fact that it is very very slow at some points. I am more into fast-paced fantasy. But slow-paced ones have their own joy.

My favourite anime are:- 1. FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood---> It is one anime that made me laugh like a child, and cry...well like a child in the same episode. It has the best soundtrack ever made for an anime. And boy! What about characters. I love Elric brothers. Even the antagonists are lovable. 2. Spice and Wolf---> I love Holo and Lawrence. Holo is the best female anime character I have ever seen. Joyful, and pretty intelligent. 3. Hyouka ---> Oreki and Chitanda, the anime where it is more than just dialogues. I have seen it around 11 times. KyoAni does a very good job of music (Bach's music), and animation.

Okay, 1. Itkovian ---> I really loved him in Memories of Ice. God, I really cried and soiled my book, when he says "I am not over yet". His whole story is amazing. One of the best characters in the whole series. 2. Duiker---> He affected me in more than one novel. His dialogues are one of the best in the book Deadhouse Gates, "Children are dying...". Then his recollection of the moments in Deadhouse Gates again, was more painful for me than a rejection. He is the best fictional historian. 3. Death---> You just read his parts. His sections are extremely funny, and the way he changes Mort's fate is amazing. Other characters later.

I read Blood Song, it was a decent book. I found it much like The Kingkiller Chronicles book 1. But I didn't find it all amazing. I agree with Argent here. Now I am reading the second book. I will give my reviews later.

Mine are:- 1. Malazan: Book of The Fallen 2. Stormlight Archive 3. The Kingkiller Chronicles 4. Discworld (Death Series) 5. Robin Hobb's Assassin Series
-
Mine are Raoden, and Hrathen. I really like the parts depicting moments of Self conflicts of Hrathen. His ending is really makes him one of the positives. Raoden's dialogues are amazing. Oh! Now I really want to re-read the whole novel.

I use Windows 7. I like it better than any OS. And I am just too much familiar with windows, that I can't leave it.

Series you were disappointed with...
Hood replied to ProfessorMLyon's topic in Entertainment Discussion
To The OP: I was deeply disappointed with Harry Potter series. Harry and Hermoine were so good together. And to some part, WoT. Even Brandon objected to killing of one of the key characters. And at last, The First Law Trilogy. I liked the second book. The third one was pretty bad for me. -
Mine are:- Kruppe, Quickben, Anomander Rake, Fiddler, Icairum, Iskaral Pust,----> Malazan Book of The Fallen Burrich, Chade Fallstar, Verity Farseer, The Fool---> The Farseer Trilogy Matrim Cauthon, Lan, Rand al'Thor----> Wheel of Time Kvothe, Chronicler---> Kngkiller Chronicles Sazed, Vin, Elend----> Mistborn Trilogy Kaladin, Dalinar, Adolin, Wit---> Stormlight Archive Raoden, Sarene, Hrathen----> Elantris
